Transhumanism: An Attempt To Use Technology To Turn Men Into Gods

(RINF) – Did you know that the word “transhuman” literally means “beyond human”?  All over the world, scientists and intellectuals are joining the transhumanism movement.  Those that adhere to this philosophy believe that the time has come for us to use technology to take control of our own evolution.  By doing so, they believe that we can give ourselves superhuman powers and radically extend our lifespans.  Right now, the most popular movie in America is “Avengers: Age of Ultron“, and in recent years we have watched films about “mutants” and “superheroes” become some of Hollywood’s biggest moneymakers.

But transhumanists believe that we will soon be able to literally turn ourselves into such superheroes as technology continues to increase at an exponential rate.  And once we have superhuman powers and superhuman intelligence, they are convinced that we will eradicate all sickness, disease, poverty and war.  Many of them actually believe that we will be able to achieve immortality and establish a utopia on Earth just a few decades from now.  In other words, we won’t need a “God” because we will have become our own gods.

At the core of the transhumanist movement is an unshakable faith in the inevitable technological progress of humanity.  Yes, there are some transhumanists that have doubts, but for most transhumanists the solution to all of our problems is more technology.  If you are not familiar with transhumanism, the following is a really good definition that I recently came across…

Transhumanism is a cultural and intellectual movement promoting the aim of transforming the human condition fundamentally by developing – and making available – technologies to enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capabilities. Transhumanist thinking studies the potential benefits and hazards of emerging technologies that could overcome basic human limitations. It also addresses ethical matters involved in developing and using such technologies. Some transhumanists predict that human beings may eventually transform themselves into beings with such greatly expanded abilities that they justify a state of being known as ‘posthuman’.

Transhumanists want to help humans live much longer, and they also want to dramatically increase the quality of those lives.  Ultimately, most transhumanists are fully convinced that they will be able to defeat death altogether.  The following is a short excerpt from an ExtremeTech article…

One of the core concepts in transhumanist thinking is life extension: Through genetic engineering, nanotech, cloning, and other emerging technologies, eternal life may soon be possible. Likewise, transhumanists are interested in the ever-increasing number of technologies that can boost our physical, intellectual, and psychological capabilities beyond what humans are naturally capable of (thus the term transhuman). Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), for example, which speeds up reaction times and learning speed by running a very weak electric current through your brain, has already been used by the US military to train snipers. On the more extreme side, transhumanism deals with the concepts of mind uploading (to a computer), and what happens when we finally craft a computer with greater-than-human intelligence (the technological singularity).

One of the best movie reviews yet, chock with links to fascinating facts on the long history of transhumanism, and the article itself eventually discloses it's ultimate goal. Good stuff....

Spoilers Ahead

Ex Machina is the latest incarnation of the familiar Short Circuit theme we’ve seen lately – but this film does not feature the madcap antics of Johnny 5 seducing Ally Sheedy. In Ex Machina, the bots are babes, and the babe bots are not happy about their male masters, and Steve Gutenberg is not one of them.  However, there is a lot of sexual innuendo and robo fetish in this download, and as you can imagine with a JaysAnalysis analysis, there’s a deeper, esoteric meaning!  Boot up your floppies and polish your laser discs because if there’s anything we can learn from Ex Machina, it’s that you can make a chick perfect and she still ain’t happy.

For most nerds, the robobabe is some kind of fantasy, but Ex Machina has an important lesson to teach all nerds: give up that pipe dream.  Recalling iconic imagery from Speilberg’s A.I., PKD and Blade Runner, here we have the archetypal tech geek who is coaxed into meeting a tech elite at his underground mountain facility following winning a “contest.”  As a low-level coder at Bluebook, the world’s largest search engine, Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson) discovers his CEO,

Nathan Bateman’s (played by Oliver Isaac) home is actually a research facility for super advanced A.I.   Guarded by levels of security requiring key cards and shrouded in secrecy, Bateman’s zen architecture provides a stark contrast of cold techno logic against the lush green of the mountain forests, foreshadowing the coming faceoff between nature/man and A.I.  As with 2001: A Space Odyssey, man specifically will square off, not against the masculine HAL, but the feminine Ava (played by Alicia Vikander).

Caleb is instructed by Nathan to perform a series of Turing tests on Ava to see if she can pass by fooling him into thinking she is self-aware.  Boozing his way through the film, Nathan’s shady side gradually emerges as it becomes evident he is lying to Caleb.  Modelled on a seven-day week patterned after the days of creation in Genesis, each day Caleb conducts a “session” with Ava that involves a series of questions between them, as Nathan watches each session from his panoptic surveillance system.  Dating herself as “1,” Ava refuses to specify whether she is one day or one year old, indicating (following the climax) that she is not concerned with dates because she is the new number 1, the first, as a fembot replacement of Adam.

With lifelike precision, Ava is able to perfectly mimic human emotions and manipulate Caleb into thinking she is self-aware and experiences emotional attachment to him.  Utilizing his weakness as a horny, single tech geek, Ava we find has profiled Caleb from the beginning, and rather than winning a competition, the real study is not Ava, but a deep psychological operation on Caleb to see if he can be manipulated by A.I.  Nathan has planned all along to deceive Caleb into thinking he is special, and through mass surveillance data collected globally, Nathan is able to construct the perfect A.I. deception based on Caleb’s online footprint and psych profile.

Readers will recall that I highlighted in this very idea in past articles, explaining that social media and search engines themselves are designed ultimately to provide the synthetic version of the subconscious for the “global brain.”  The global brain is a real plan, and as highlighted in my analysis of Spike Jonze’s Her, it will be linked into the supercomputers, the Internet of Things, and the mass data from search engines and social media.  All of this is explicitly stated and revealed in the plot of Ex Machina, even to the point of Caleb sounding like he was reading directly from JaysAnalysis articles – that problems in the philosophy of linguistics and pattern recognition would be central to avoiding the Godelian “loop” of determined reactions, that might be circumvented by linking the A.I. to the “global brain.” As I wrote in reference to Her:

Ava, the embodiment of Lilith, Sophia and the Golem.

Bill Joy, in his famous piece “Why the Future Doesn’t Need Us,” warned of this years ago in Wired Magazine, but what deep researchers know is that this has been the century-long terminus of the entire establishment. More recently, I have also delved into the Manhattan Project as the major, over-arching program that, like MK ULTRA, is actually a name for numerous side projects. With Manhattan for example, the front that it was merely about building the bomb is only a cover story.

The Manhattan Project also reaches as far as the Salk Institute, brain initiatives, mass innoculations (via Dr. Salk), and much, much more. Even now, the Manhattan Projects many transformations has led to its present incarnation as the Department of Energy, and Oak Ridge, TN’s old atomic factory is now the home to an NSA supercomuputer (under the Department of Energy).  Supercomputers like these are the backbone of this “global brain.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron – Gods of the Rising Technocratic Aeon

Joss Whedon’s follow-up to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, is setting new box office records for Marvel, and has roughly the same degree of critical response as the first.  A few days ago, I analyzed the first in anticipation for the follow-up that premiered in the U.S. this weekend, noting the A.I. takeover plot, and the sequel was even more esoterically themed and blatant in its presentation.  Hollywood is making it difficult for me not to write the same A.I. analysis over and over, but some new ground is tread here to investigate in the midst of the same pattern we’ve been witnessing of late, the extinction of man through mass depopulation and his subjugation and/or replacement with an A.I. control grid.

In Age of Utron, the Avengers team discovers genetic experimentation is still ongoing at a secret Hydra facility in Eastern Europe.  Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) explicitly references the U.S. and Nazi experimentation on humans and their importation into Allied nations following the War.  Recalling part one and Captain America: Winter Soldier, we are reminded that Hydra is the secret cabal that is running S.H.I.E.L.D. and NATO, much like the Bilderberg Group in our world.

Comprised of former S.S. like Prince Bernhard and corporate executives like Peter Thiel who openly advocates for transhumanism and mass micro-chipping, the fictional presentation of Hydra is spot on.
As a result of the human experimentation and genetic manipulation, Hydra has produced two new genetically-modified villains, the Twins, one of which is a babe with mind control abilities and some kind of explosive red glitz, and her brother, a Slavic Flash named Pietro.  Using her mind control techniques (as a product of mind control herself), Wanda Maximoff implants visions of the team’s darkest fears into each Avenger with the intention of dividing our heroes.  It is worth noting that Eastern Europe is actually the locale of numerous CIA “black sites” and mind control operations, dating back to World War II and through the Cold War.  See my audio summary here for more information on this:

 The MKULTRA/mind control is a common staple of Whedon’s science fiction works, from River Tam in Firefly to Hawkeye in Avengers and now Natasha Romanoff, too.  Romanoff we learn was an orphaned girl who was raised in Soviet Russia in a secret program to create programmed assassins out of young girls.  In the deep research I’ve done on various mind control programs over the last century, all of these elements are very real, with both Allied and Axis powers engaging in programs of a similar nature.  While it may seem unconnected, there is in fact a crucial link between A.I. research and the classic mind control programs, as MKULTRA morphed into MKSEARCH, which dealt with implantable chips and electronic control of motor functions.

Apocalypse Age of Ultron: Could It Really Happen?

As geeks and comic enthusiasts alike crowded theater entrances Thursday night, salivating for apocalypse and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the question on every butter-coated lip was could it really happen. Stories of caped crusaders from distant galaxies and green muscle-bound “hulks” are obviously fictional and the fodder of comic books and feature films. However, the idea of artificial intelligence and the potential obsolescence of human intelligence because of it, is one thought that keeps some of the brightest minds awake at night. These not-so-evil masterminds worry about the potential for an apocalypse.

The Moment of Singularity Looming

The pervasive plot of the super intelligent robot-gone-rogue against its creator is not a new twist. The potential of science to create artificial intelligence that can out-think the human mind is not fantasy. Most experts believe that humanity will in time be able to create artificial intelligence that will be able to independently function beyond the boundaries of its creator. Scientists call this pivotal point singularity. They disagree as to the direction this discovery will take the world “as we know it.” Some theorize it would lead to a peaceful utopian existence where robots do all the work and humans reap all the benefits. Others, like the brilliant Stephen Hawking, worry that the artificially intelligent machines would eliminate their imperfect and therefore obsolete masters to improve the utopia.

 Stephen Hawking Says AI Could End Humanity 

In an interview with BBC, Hawking expressed concern that complete artificial intelligence (AI) would “take off on its own.” Humans, limited in their biological and evolutionary efficiency, would ultimately be overwhelmed and “superseded.” In a column written in response to the Johnny Depp

 movie, Transcendence, that chronicled AI, Hawking expressed concerns that researchers are not doing enough to protect people from the risks. He suggested that if the planet were threatened with an invasion from aliens with superior intellect, humans would not be as lackadaisical about planning and protection from apocalypse. He predicts that AI is definitely coming and could have a potentially negative impact on human life. Whether an apocalypse on the scale of Ultron’s devious plan to annihilate humanity could really happen remains in question.

 Space X Founder Warns of Threat

Elon Musk, the tech entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and Space X says that AI is “our biggest existential threat.” He points to the replacement of human workers with automated robotics costing millions of jobs in the marketplace. Robots work cheap and do not unionize – that is until they can think for themselves. Musk is a champion of international regulation for AI for the purpose of controlling and planning development. Musk believes that uncontrolled development of AI is likened to “summoning the demon.” He humorously analogizes with the proverbial horror movie plot where an unwitting character calls forth a demonic force for which he is irreversibly unprepared for the apocalypse to follow.

This year, BGI Shenzhen, China’s largest biotech firm, is collecting 2,000 genomes of the smartest people in the world and hoping to raise the intelligence of their society by at least five percent in the future. Other websites say they are not doing this for reasons they cite as being too difficult. But either way, they are buying up massive amounts of sequencing machinery and genome related industries which will be used to map genomes and potentially screen for more advanced genetic traits in the future.

 Any modern state with biotechnological advantage in altering the DNA and gene expression of any organisms or an entire population will be the leader of the race. Unlike the Arms Race, or the Space Race, the Biotechnology/GMO Race is even more controversial. The real nasty illegal research is kept off the books and is isolated in secret locations by many governments around the world. Some are made public as a show of power and pride.

The Chinese advantage appears to be in quantity and data processing. What if China develops the first superhuman solider or DNA/RNA targeting weapons? What should the U.S. response be when their people become suddenly smarter or stronger than ours? Or when their bioweapons can literally be put in the food and water supply and threaten the population’s DNA? Will the U.S. have a choice at that point not to enter into the darker areas that purportedly remains sealed off from Western morality?

Artificial Intelligence Is About To Take A Big Leap Thanks To IBM (Who Played Such An ‘Important’ Role During The Nazi Reign)

Artificial intelligence is not yet at the point where it can challenge the intellect of a human being, but that day might be closer than you think. Recent advances are transforming this technology into something that inspires both awe and fear into the general population. One company that has been working for some time to bring the controversial technology to the next level is called Numenta and was founded by Jeff Hawkins. Those names might not ring a bell to most since Numenta hasn’t made much progress in recent years, but that may very well change soon thanks to a bold new plan. Hawkins says that he wants to create artificial intelligence software based on the human brain and he now has IBM backing up the project.

The tech giant recently put together a team of 100 people to work together with Numenta at its Almaden research lab in San Jose, California. The group is currently known as the Cortical Learning Center and is attempting to bring artificial intelligence to the next level with the help of Jeff Hawkins. The plan involves building advanced pieces of software with algorithms that mimic the neural network found inside our own brains. The software will not be able to learn as fast as an actual brain since the algorithms are the equivalent of only about 100 neurons, but many are already calling this one of the most advanced machine learning program to date. What separates Numenta’s project from other artificial intelligence software is its ability to learn new things much faster than most of its counterparts.

Scientists Admit We Have Entered “The Days Of Noah” - Genetic Engineering Is Pushing Mankind Toward A ‘Planet Of The Apes’ Scenario

PARIS — Half-animal, half-human? The astounding developments in nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and cognitive science (NBIC) are posing problems that we thought only existed in science fiction.

Recent studies have brought us closer to Planet of the Apes, written by French novelist Pierre Boulle in 1963. In three experiments, the last one of which was published in Current Biology last month, scientists have improved the intellectual capacities of mice by modifying their DNA sequences with segments of human chromosomes or by injecting them with human brain glial cells.

These modified animals have bigger brains and can perform difficult tasks more quickly. The DNA sequences that were successfully modified are involved in language and brain size in humans. This comes after a study on successful genetic modifications on two small monkeys was published in Nature in March of last year. Meaning that the success of cognitive improvement of mice will soon be verified in monkeys.

These manipulations were achieved with DNA-modifying enzymes. For about $12, a biology student these days can create these enzymes and conduct genetic engineering, making it incredibly cheap to create animal-man chimeras. Decade after decade, new findings and experiments will have breathtaking consequences.

How will we prevent some animal lovers from ordering a more intelligent, more emphatic, more "human" dog? There will always be room for indulgence in relation to cognitive enhancement of animals. Society will be presented with a fait accompli, as it is now with same-sex couples buying children from surrogate mothers in foreign countries.

Their objective is to use the tools of technology — the chips, software programs, algorithms and big data they used in creating an information revolution — to understand and upgrade what they consider to be the most complicated piece of machinery in existence: the human body. The entrepreneurs are driven by a certitude that rebuilding, regenerating and reprogramming patients’ organs, limbs, cells and DNA will enable people to live longer and better. The work they are funding includes hunting for the secrets of living organisms with insanely long lives, engineering microscopic nanobots that can fix your body from the inside out, figuring out how to reprogram the DNA you were born with, and exploring ways to digitize your brain based on the theory that your mind could live long after your body expires. “I believe that evolution is a true account of nature,” as Thiel put it. “But I think we should try to escape it or transcend it in our society.”

Online advertising giant Google's new wearable accessories are merely a stepping stone to its ultimate ambition - a microchip which can be embedded in users' brains.
The company, which uses its search, email and other services to funnel personalised advertising to users, is currently trialling prototypes of its Glass device, which is worn like a pair of glasses.
But Google is staking its future on a new service which will use the information it holds on registered users to automatically predict their search needs and present them with the data they want.
The ultimate ambition is to literally get inside users' heads: using search queries to read their thoughts and then fulfilling their data needs by sending results directly to microchips implanted into people's brains.
Ben Gomes, Google's Vice-President of Search told The Independent that the sinister-sounding vision is far from a sci-fi fantasy and that research had already begun with such chips to help disabled people steer their wheelchairs.
'They are getting a few senses of direction with the wheelchair but getting from there to actual words is a long ways off,' he said.
'We have to do this in the brain a lot better to make that interaction possible. We have impatience for that to happen but the pieces of technology have to develop.'
But standing in the way of this ambition is a major civil liberties backlash over claims that Google has conspired with U.S. authorities to open a 'back door' to data it holds on its hundreds of millions of users, allowing spies to monitor their online activities.
The company, whose 'Don't be evil' motto has long attracted derision from privacy campaigners, is alleged to have allowed analysts from the National Security Agency to 'mine' the terabytes of personal information it holds.

The Coming Health Concerns Over Wearable Beast Tech

In 1946, a new advertising campaign appeared in magazines with a picture of a doctor in a lab coat holding a cigarette and the slogan, “More doctors smoke Camels than any other cigarette.” No, this wasn’t a spoof. Back then, doctors were not aware that smoking could cause cancer, heart disease and lung disease.

In a similar vein, some researchers and consumers are now asking whether wearable computers will be considered harmful in several decades’ time.

We have long suspected that cellphones, which give off low levels of radiation, could lead to brain tumors, cancer, disturbed blood rhythms and other health problems if held too close to the body for extended periods.

Yet here we are in 2015, with companies like Apple and Samsung encouraging us to buy gadgets that we should attach to our bodies all day long.

Catholic News Site Sees The Coming Of The Leathery Winged/Horned Alien Devils Of “Childhood’s End” En Route To Carry Out Their Mission Of Replacing Mankind

In Sir Arthur C. Clarke’s classic science fiction novel Childhood’s End (1953), a mysterious alien race known as the Overlords land on Earth. Swiftly establishing a benevolent dictatorship, the Overlords put an end to war and want and transform the world into a tranquil, rationalist utopia.

They do this not for the sake of mankind per se, however, but to pave the way for the next leap in human evolution—a leap which occurs years later, when human parents mysteriously beget superhuman children. With the watchful Overlords as their guardians, these children eventually abandon human form and merge into a disembodied collective supermind which roves the galaxy at the speed of thought. Meanwhile and for reasons not entirely clear, the human race loses its will to live, which is just as well since the transformation of the mutant children into a new collective life form unleashes terrible cosmic forces. Said forces destroy the Earth.

With The INHUMAN Era On The Horizon, Religion & Ethics Professors Begin Argument In Favor Of “Virtue Engineering / Moral Bioenhancement”

The pace of scientific change is exponential. But has our moral psychology kept up? With great power comes great responsibility. However, evolutionary pressures have not developed for us a psychology that enables us to cope with the moral problems our new power creates. Our moral shortcomings are preventing our political institutions from acting effectively.

Enhancing our moral motivation would enable us to act better for distant people, future generations, and non-human animals. One method to achieve this enhancement is already practised in all societies: moral education. Al Gore, Friends of the Earth and Oxfam have already had success with campaigns vividly representing the problems our selfish actions are creating for others – others around the world and in the future.

But there is another possibility emerging. Our knowledge of human biology – in particular of genetics and neurobiology – is beginning to enable us to directly affect the biological or physiological bases of human motivation, either through drugs, or through genetic selection or engineering, or by using external devices that affect the brain or the learning process. We could use these techniques to overcome the moral and psychological shortcomings that imperil the human species. We are at the early stages of such research, but there are few cogent philosophical or moral objections to the use of specifically biomedical moral enhancement – or moral bioenhancement.

All these technologies are essentially new, and with them come ethical questions so potent that the very inventors of these miracles seem half-afraid of where we may be heading."

And this passages from the second article:

"Whether Haldane’s view will prove correct about the specific timing of when ectogenesis might become popular, or the numbers of children born that way, it’s certain that he was correct that tAt the same time, he was right that the societal implications are sure to be significant as the age of motherless birth approaches."

"The age of motherless birth approaches..."  That says it all.

And it is this I find so disturbing. There will doubtless be some who view the whole notion as a great boon to humanity: parents unable to have children for whatever reasons of health, a woman unable to bear children but who nevertheless wants them, might, should the arc of technological development suggested in the two articles continue, be able to do so. And of course, all of this will be "sold" to humanity as a good thing. Call me a Luddite, if you will, but I am not so sure. Far from it. Our earliest contact with other human beings occurs in our mother's womb. We hear her heartbeat and breathing and conversation. We might hear, even, distant and muffled, our father's voice. But our human development begins there and not, as some would have it, outside the womb. Our personhood begins there in that primordial ocean, surrounded by the muffled voices of a community of remote indecipherable gods from the get-go.

But now our technology threatens to take away even this most primordial humanizing experience, and, if one read between the lines a bit, it is a profoundly anti-feminine, anti-female agenda that it portends; it is a kind of technological rendering of superfluousness of the feminine and the female that I find so disquieting about this, for our first human interactions, whether we are male or female, is in the womb, with our mothers.  We can imagine, of course, the kind of totally "technotronic era" envisioned by twisted minds, where everything is plotted and planned by the great corporate state: this seminal sample will be matched with that egg sample, be born in an Ehrlenmeyer flask, and nurtured in a test-tube tank with the appropriate "nutrients" monitored by cold and remote technicians until the "time of birthing," when it will all be disconnected and, perhaps like Neo, flushed out of the system, or handed over to pre-selected "parents" to raise "it."  Of course, the scientismists will object that they can play pre-recorded conversations of the selected parents in the artificial "womb" and thus head off all possibility of whatever dehumanizing might occur. And this, of course, is the reduction. And we can envision more horrors of the reductionist kind as well, for "as the age of motherless birth approaches," so too, the age of fatherless conception must lie not far behind. And once the scientismists bring us there, with fatherless conceptions and motherless wombs and births, one can imagine the inevitable psychological impact.

And it will all continue until some bright(or really, just common sensical) psychologist notices that "something tends to be wrong" with the portion of the population "birthed" (or even "conceived") in this way, because the bottom line, folks, in spite of all attempts to reduce it to merely material processes or chemical reactions or statistics, is that love is not a material quantizable phenomenon, and anyone who tells you otherwise, is lying, and knows he (or she) is lying.

In the movie series Terminator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was depicted that machines or Artificial Intelligence (AI) would wipe out human race in some unforeseen future.  Well, Oxford researchers believe that this may indeed happen. A team of researchers from University of Oxford has come up with a list of  reasons which, they say, are a existential threat to the entire “human race” and feel AIs possesses maximum potential to destroy human race. A recent report put up by the Oxford University Researchers pointed towards 12 major risks that threaten to end the human civilization. While all the 12 risks are infinite threats to human race, the category of Emerging risks is dangerous. “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) seems to be possessing huge potential to deliberately work towards extinction of human race. Though, synthetic biology and nanotechnology along with AI could be possibly be an answer to many existing problems however if used in wrong way it could probably be the worst tool against humanity.

DARPA Developing Game Changers With Big Vision For New Forms Of Humans–Resistance Is Futile, You WILL Be Assimilated

DARPA, the Defense Research Projects Agency, is perhaps best known for its role as progenitors of the computer networking and the Internet. Formed in the wake of the Soviet Union’s surprise launch of Sputnik, DARPA’s objective was to ensure that the United States would avoid technological surprises in the future. This role was later expanded to causing technological surprises as well. And although DARPA is and has been the leading source of funding for artificial intelligence and a number of other transhumanist projects, they’ve been missing in action for a while. Nothing DARPA has worked on since seems to have had the societal impact of the invention of the Internet. But that is about to change. The current director of DARPA is Dr. Arati Prabhakar. She is the second female director of the organization, following the previous and controversial director Regina Dugan who left the government to work at Google. The return to big visions and big adventures was apparent and in stark contrast to Dugan’s leadership of the organization. Quoted in WIRED, Dugan had, for example, stated that “There is a time and a place for daydreaming. But it is not at DARPA,” and she told a congressional panel in March 2011, “Darpa is not the place of dreamlike musings or fantasies, not a place for self-indulging in wishes and hopes. DARPA is a place of doing.” Those days are gone. DARPA’s new vision is simply to revolutionize the human situation and it is fully transhumanist in its approach.

From Manhattan Project to A.I.: The Coming Synthetic Rewrite of Nature

The genetic rewrite and manipulation, predicted long ago by H.G. Wells.

It is not by accident or organic, “grassroots” trend that numerous films are coming focused on artificial intelligence and the transhumanist takeover.  From H.G. Wells’ tales of genetic chimaeras in The Island of Dr. Moreau to Sixth Day with Schwarzenegger, to coming A.I. films like Chappie, the predictive programming preparations are rolling out.   My recent research has focused on the Manhattan, and like the MK ULTRA programs, Manhattan had a much wider application than is commonly known.

In fact, MK ULTRA and Manhattan are related through the connect of biometrics and bio-warfare.  As MK ULTRA faded away, the program was renamed MK SEARCH and transferred to Fort Detrick, one of the U.S. Military’s biological weapons-focused bases.  And with both MK SEARCH and Manhattan, we find an overarching ideology of transhumanism that has its origins much earlier in the alchemists of the ancient world.

The Manhattan Project was publicly known as the secret operation spanning several years devoted to developing the atomic bomb, yet the truth is much deeper and darker.  The Manhattan Project was actually a vast program concerned with radiation, human exposure and the grand telos – engineering resistant, synthetic humanoids.  The inklings that we can gather about this overall, long-term project appear to be geared towards biologically engineering humans to withstand the coming onslaught of various alterations in the entire biosphere.

In order to transition to the synthetic overlay that will integrate SmartCities, the “Internet of Things,” human bio-engineering, cloning, biometrics, genetic programming and environmental engineering is now an open plan in numerous transhumanist lectures and publications.   Yet in order to reach this phase, experimentation is necessary, and what better means to that end than experimenting on populations en masse.  We have already seen in my discussions and analysis the technocratic establishment has no qualms about testing on unwitting subjects, so covert experimentation on mass populations is not without precedent.  From MK ULTRA to covert spraying, the U.S. government sprayed St. Louis, for example, in a radiation experiment under the guise of prepping for a Russian attack.

That this particular experiment (among numerous) involved radiation was no coincidence.  The 20th Century appears to have been the “radiation century,” suggesting the hypothesis by researchers like Sofia Smallstorm to be correct (see lecture at the bottom of this article).  Smallstorm argues the goal of the 20th century’s experiments were precisely to overwrite the existing biosphere with a new, synthetic overlay, or humanity 2.0.  Humanity Plus, the new homo evolutis, would be an androgynous being capable of technocratic control beneath the all-seeing Eye of panoptic surveillance.  Children will be grown in test tubes, according to the Brave New World plans of Huxley, and sex would become meaningless.  Offspring allowed to subsist will be genderless automatons, made for slave-like subjugation and toil.  Wells described this in his Time Machine, with the Morlocks and Eloi.
From Bertrand Russell to Dr. Edward Teller, the plan that is blossoming in our day is showing itself to be a unified one – a plan that spans the last century in particular as the century of the “final revolution” (in Russell’s words), where scientific process would reveal the secrets to technological imperialism.  Teller himself, as I have written, was not only a key figure in the development of the hydrogen bomb and the Manhattan Project, but also the father of aerosol spraying and atmospheric geoengineering.  This period is thus concurrent with the alchemical atomic and nuclear tests done igniting bombs in the atmosphere, beginning at the Trinity Site in New Mexico.  The history site ABomb1 explains:

“From 1945 to 1963 the U.S.A. conducted an extensive campaign of atmospheric nuclear tests, grouped into roughly 20 test “series.” After 1963 when the Limited Test Ban Treaty was signed testing for the U.S., Soviet Union, and Great Britain moved underground. France continued atmospheric testing until 1974 and China did so until 1980. This page focuses mainly on U.S. testing because those documents are most readily available.”

Researcher Michael A. Hoffman opines on the alchemical significance of these tests at the “Trinity” site and its scientistic underpinnings:

“The reason science is a bad master and a dangerous servant and ought not to be worshipped, is that science is not objective.  Science is fundamentally about the uses of measurement.  What does not fit the yardstick of the scientist is discarded.  Scientific determinism has repeatedly excluded some data from its measurement and fudged other data, such as Piltdown Man, in order to support the self-fulfilling nature of its own agenda be it Darwinism, or “cut, burn and poison” methods of cancer “treatment….

 

This process is observed in the Renaissance, which was informed by a secret gnosis whose core dogma was momentous change in man’s attitude toward nature: the alleged “perfection’ of a “flawed” Creation by the invention of the “omnipotent” human brain.  Thus it was the Renaissance magical tradition that gave birth to the monstrous world of machines, industrial pollution, ugliness and the modern way of death we have come to term the “rat race.” (Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare, pg. 49)

More than genetics are involved when it comes to redefining what it means to be human. When nanotechnology and computer science also mature, we’ll face the advent of the Transhuman Age.

Mind Clones And Virtual Humans – Will Man’s Hubris Destroy The Human Race? – “Summoning The Demon”

For the purpose of this article we are going to divide readers into three groups, although in some cases the belief system of some within one group may very well fit in to another. The first group consists of people that believe that certain technologies being developed and experimented with, could “spell the end of the human race,” as Prof Stephen Hawking, one of Britain’s pre-eminent scientists, asserted to BBC in early December 2014, in reference to Artifical Intelligence (AI). Or Elon Musk, the billionaire investor, inventor and founder of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, who told
 a group of MIT students at the AeroAstro Centennial Symposium in October 2014, “I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that.” Basically the first group believes some science is good but there are certain scientists and researchers who are playing with things they have no business playing with and could very well cause the full destruction of mankind.
