Forbidden Secrets of the Labyrinth - The Awakened Ones, The Hidden Destiny Of America, And The Day After Tomorrow

By Mark A. Flynn

PART 5 - Occult Geometry

Geometry, the first and noblest of sciences, is the basis on which the superstructure of Masonry is erected. By geometry, we may curiously trace nature, through her various windings, to her most concealed recesses. By it, we discover the power, the wisdom, and the goodness of the Grand Artificer of the Universe, and view with delight the proportions which connect this vast machine.
—Thomas Smith Webb. Freemason’s Monitor, 1863[i]
In The Republic, Plato uses the sun, the cave, and the segmented line as a metaphor for the source of intellectual illumination. He writes:
The eye is unique in that it requires the medium of light to operate. The best source of this light is the sun and with it all objects can be clearly discerned. The same can be said for the understanding of intelligible objects or philosophical concepts.… When [the soul] is firmly fixed on the domain where truth and reality shine resplendent it apprehends and knows them and appears to possess reason, but when it inclines to that region which is mingled with darkness, the world of becoming and passing away, it opines only and its edge is blunted, and it shifts its opinions hither and thither, and again seems as if it lacked reason.[ii]
Plato also says the sun and the good (“the object of knowledge”) are both sources of “generation”:
The sun…not only furnishes to those that see the power of visibility but it also provides for their generation and growth and nurture though it is not itself generation.… In like manner, then…the objects of knowledge not only receive from the presence of the good their being known, but their very existence and essence is derived to them from it, though the good itself is not essence but still transcends essence in dignity and surpassing power.[iii]

The Cave

The dialogue between Socrates and Glaucon, whose name means the same as Glaucus (his story is related in chapter 9 of the upcoming book Forbidden Secrets of the Labyrinth), “wide-shining,” continues to the idea of the cave. Socrates asks Glaucon to imagine a cave inhabited by prisoners who have had their legs chained since birth and their heads fixed in one direction so that they could only see a single wall in front of them. Behind them is light from a fire that is partly blocked by a raised ramp where free people walk while carrying various objects. The prisoners never see the ramp or the people walking behind them, but can only watch the shadows, unaware of the fact that they are shadows. They can hear echoes off the wall from the noise produced behind them.
Socrates suggests that the prisoners would believe that the shadows were the most real. The philosophers among them would be ones who could explain the forms on the wall and predict their movements.
Plato’s Allegory of the Cave by Jan Saenredam, according to Cornelis van Haarlem, 1604, Albertina, Vienna[iv]

The Escape

Socrates then asks what would happen if one of the cave dwellers was released and shown all the things that had cast shadows. He would not recognize or be able to name anything, and would insist that the shadows on the wall were “real.”
Socrates asks:
What if the man was compelled to look at the fire: wouldn’t he be struck blind and try to turn his gaze back toward the shadows, as toward what he can see clearly and hold to be real? What if someone forcibly dragged such a man upward, out of the cave: would not the man be angry with the one doing this to him? And if dragged all the way out into the sunlight, wouldn’t he be distressed and unable to see “even one of the things now said to be true” because he was “blinded by the light?”
The freed prisoner’s senses would change after some time on the surface. Soon he would see more of things around him, until he could finally look towards the sun.
He would learn that sun was the “source of the seasons and the years, and is the steward of all things in the visible place, and is in a certain way the cause of all those things he and his companions had been seeing.”[v]
The Masonic fraternities venerate Apollo, who slayed the dragon Python, as well as St. George, who saved the Selenite king’s daughter. To the illuminated, the idea of “slaying the dragon” would represent that moment when the initiate “left the cave.”

Skeptical Reporters Become Believers in Haunted House - And it Only Took a Few Scratches

Two skeptical journalists were just minutes into an interview with a Pennsylvania homeowner who claims her house is infested with ghostly and demonic forces when they found themselves so scared they almost abandoned the investigative report altogether.

WPMT-TV’s Katie Kyros was recently accompanied by photojournalist Nick Petrillo on a visit to DeAnna Simpson’s home in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Considering that the woman claims she’s seen a seven-foot “shadow man,” heard mysterious voices and experienced rogue scratches, they decided to explore.

But it’s what they say happened just five minutes into the interview that had the two so scared they almost left.

“Basically, when we walked in the home, I didn’t feel anything at first,” Petrillo said during an on-air report explaining the experience. “I felt — it was something like a piece of hot metal almost … I looked down on my wrist and I noticed there was a scratch there.”

The photojournalist said he’s “never felt anything like that” in his life. In fact, Petrillo was a skeptic before entering Simpson’s home, but now says the experience has made him a believer.
“I actually didn’t really believe in it until this actually happened,” he said. “I was very skeptical of it until this.”

The burning sensation and scratch Petrillo felt didn’t surprise Simpson, who told the two that she believes the mere fact that they were covering the story was enough to anger the supposedly evil entities inside the home.

End of Christianity 'Very Near' in Iraq, Anglican Bishop Warns - Mystery Babylon, ISIS and prophecy

Mystery Babylon continues to drink the blood of the saints, but awaits her soon coming demise...(Revelation 17:5-6, 16)...I do believe that wickedness has been unleashed in the plain of Shinar as prophesied (Zechariah 5:5-11), and that ISIS is a clue, as it's one of the best known names of the goddess Mystery Babylon and her false system of worship.  Christians should be preparing for the great persecution to come (Revelation 7:14)...

By Stoyan Zaimov , Christian Post Reporter

Mosul, Christian (Photo: Reuters)
Families fleeing the violence in the Iraqi city of Mosul wait at a checkpoint in outskirts of Arbil, in Iraq's Kurdistan region in June 2014.
The end of Christianity in Iraq could be "very near" according to Canon Andrew White, the vicar of the only Anglican church in Iraq, as Islamic militants continue their attacks of Christians and the central government.
"Things are so desperate, our people are disappearing," White said in an interview with BBC Radio 4 over the weekend. "We have had people massacred, their heads chopped off.

"Are we seeing the end of Christianity? We are committed come what may, we will keep going to the end, but it looks as though the end could be very near."

ISIS militants had warned Christians in the northern state of Iraq that they need to convert to Islam, pay a tax or be put to death, forcing thousands of them to flee the region. The militants have also been painting the letter "N" for Nasrani, the Arabic word for Christian, in Christian homes in Mosul.
The Islamic extremists have declared an "Islamic state" in the territory of Iraq and Syria, and have vowed to take control of Baghdad.

ISIS killed 31 people in the capital during a suicide bombing last week, which wounded another 58.
White, who was in London at the time of the interview, urged the international community to offer urgent help to the persecuted minority.

"The Christians are in grave danger. There are literally Christians living in the desert and on the street. They have nowhere to go," the vicar said.

He continued: "We do not want Britain to forget us. We – and I'm saying 'we' talking like an Iraqi Christian – have always been with the British because they have already been with us.
"Individual churches, individual Christians in Britain, have been a bigger help than anybody around the world."

Watchdog groups like International Christian Concern have said that up to a million Christians lived in Iraq prior to the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 against the government of dictator Saddam Hussein, but that number has dropped to less than half.

Sierra Leone declares a public emergency over Ebola - Doctors say the virus is 'absolutely out of control'

  • Doctors Without Borders says West Africa not ready to handle Ebola
  • Airports and airlines placed on high alert to prevent disease reaching UKAnyone who slips through will be held in highly secure hospital units
  • Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond declares outbreak 'a very serious threat'
  • Some experts predict 30,000 people could become infected in west Africa
Sierra Leone today declared a public health emergency to tackle the worst-ever outbreak of Ebola and will call in security forces to quarantine areas of the deadly virus.

President Ernest Bai Koroma said the measures resembled a tough anti-Ebola package announced by neighbouring Liberia last night.

Koroma also announced he was cancelling a visit to Washington for a U.S.-Africa summit next week because of the crisis.

The move came as world's premier health charity issued a grave warning about the likely spread of the deadly Ebola virus - an epidemic it fears 'can only get worse'.
Doctors Without Borders (aka Médecins Sans Frontières [MSF]) says the threat of the disease spreading beyond western Africa, where it was first detected in Guinea in February, is frighteningly real and said it was 'absolutely out of control'.
Crisis: A Médecins Sans Frontières medic treats a suspected Ebola patient in Kailahun, Sierra Leone, where a public health emergency has been declared in an effort to stop the spread of the disease
On high alert: The president of Sierra Leone said the police and military would restrict movements to and from epicentres and provide support to health workers to do their work unhindered
'Can only get worse': Of the 672 deaths, the highest number was in Guinea with 319, followed by Sierra Leone with 224 and Liberia with 129, the World Health Organisation said
The UN World Health Organization (WHO) said that 1,201 Ebola cases had been reported in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Of the 672 deaths, the highest number was in Guinea with 319, followed by Sierra Leone with 224 and Liberia with 129, it added.

Horatius Bonar Pointed People to Christ

Horatius Bonar Pointed People to Christ
"Please don't write a biography of me." Racked with pain in the Summer of 1889, Horatius Bonar knew he was dying. He also knew that people would be interested in his life. But during his ministry, his one interest had been the glory of Christ, and he wanted to keep it that way. "Point men to Christ, not to Bonar," he might have said. That is what his sermons had always done:

"If Christ is not the substitute, he is nothing to the sinner. If he did not die as the sin-bearer, he has died in vain. Let us not be deceived on this point nor misled by those who, when they announce Christ as the deliverer, think they have preached the gospel. If I throw a rope to a drowning man, I am a deliverer. But is Christ no more than that? If I cast myself into the sea and risk myself to save another, I am a deliverer. But is Christ no more? Did He risk His life? The very essence of Christ's deliverance is the substitution of himself for us--his life for ours! He did not come to risk his life; he came to die! He did not redeem us by a little loss, a little sacrifice, a little labor, a little suffering: 'He redeemed us to God by His blood' (I Peter 1:18,19). He gave all he had, even his life, for us. This is the kind of deliverance that awakens the happy song, 'To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood' (Revelation 1:5)."

Christ's deliverance wakened happy songs in Bonar. Although many of his hymns were originally written for children, they were so brim full of sound teaching that adults loved to sing them, too.
I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Come unto me and rest;
Lay down, thou weary one, lay down, Thy head upon my breast."
I came to Jesus as I was, weary and worn and sad;
I found in him a resting place, And he has made me glad.
When Horatius Bonar died on this day, July 31, 1889, his wish was respected; no biography was written of him. Just a few memories and a short sketch of his life have come down to us.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he studied at Edinburgh University. Early on, he allied himself with three of the most spiritual men of his day: Thomas Chalmers, William C. Burns and Robert Murray McCheyne. As a young pastor, he earnestly preached in villages and farmhouses throughout his district. He saw evangelization in a different light from his contemporaries. "We think if we can but get men converted, it does not much matter how. Our whole anxiety is, not 'How shall we secure the glory of Jehovah?' but 'How shall we multiply conversions?'" To Bonar, Christ had to come first.
When the evangelical party formed the Free Church, Bonar was with them heart and soul. In his eyes, the old church with its civil service pastors, had failed in its responsibility to arouse the faith of the nation.

A man of prayer and song, Bonar was also a man of sorrow. Five of his children died young. But later, his widowed daughter and her five children had to move in with him. Many grandparents would groan at the added burden, but Bonar rejoiced. To him it was as if God had given him five children to replace those he had lost.

Is the Rise of the ISIS Terrorist Caliphate Fulfillment of the Prophecy of Zechariah 5?

Zechariah 5:5-11 is a prophecy uttered by Zechariah concerning a future time when a goddess, a divine female would be placed in a basket covered with lead,  This woman, called "wickedness" in verse 8, will be released in the Plain of Shinar, site of Ancient Babylon and modern-day Iraq.  In verse 11 she would have a house built for her and she would be placed upon her base.  Is ISIS a clear sign that the wickedness has been released and her house and base are being built and expanded by this terrorist group?

The terrorist group ISIS or ISIL depending on the news agency reporting certainly didn't name itself.  Unless they aren't actually Muslims.  In the case of the ISIL name, the L stands for Levant, a French name for the Eastern Mediterranean region centered on Israel.  The origin of the word is Latin, a language no self-respecting Muslim would ever use.  For Muslims it's Arabic only.  In the case of ISIS, no real Muslim would use the term because it's the name of the pagan goddess of ancient Egypt.  Muslims believe in only one God, Allah.  You may remember that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, during their brief time in power, considered destroying the Great Pyramid, Sphinx, et al., because they were relics of Egypt's pagan past.

So the names are coming from someone in the west, likely someone in government who feeds the stories to the press.  But why these names?  Why specifically ISIS?

ISIS is the "Queen of Heaven" and "God-Mother" of the Ancient Egyptian pantheon of gods.  Another more sinister title was "wife of the god of the abyss".  In reality, history shows the true link of this goddess.

Astarte, Isis, Artemis, Diana, Mary, all are simply different names for the same "Queen of Heaven" and "Mother of god".  She will ultimately be revealed as MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND  ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)  It would seem she holds another name as well.  Rishah in Hebrew is "wickedness", and is found in Zechariah 5:5-11.  Here she is a spiritual being, taken by two female angels (that's the only place in scripture describing female angels) in a lead covered basket, placed in the "plain of Shinar".  It would seem in the case of this ISIS that someone has gone to great lengths (USA, Saudi Arabia?) to arm and establish this murderous band in the land of ancient Babylon.

So is the terrorist/mercenary group ISIS a symbol that "wickedness" has been released in these last days?  ISIS originated in the plain of Shinar and are beginning to spread out from that base, apparently slaughtering thousands who don't fully co-operate along the way.  For a group that has an estimated size of 3,000 men, they are wreaking incredible havoc across Iraq and now slowly making their way into neighboring countries.  No doubt some very wealthy and connected persons have armed the with the newest and best weapons any terrorist might hope for.  The slaughter of Christians in that region is now fully underway.

This story isn't complete without mentioning the bizarre Katy Perry which is full of symbols of her as the goddess Isis, as well as the name of the video being "dark horse", hearkening back to the release of the four horsemen which will be unleashed any day now...

We should also know that Isis was associated with magic, actually considered the goddess who had mastered the black arts above all the other gods.  Including the magic of being able to resurrect her dead husband, Osiris.  Speaking of magic, it was good of Christine Legarde , Head of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) or the commercial center of all banking on the planet to tell us earlier this year that 2014 was indeed the "year of magic".

It would appear 2014 is indeed a very important year to the goddess Isis.  If it is truly Isis magic year, it's going to be a very ominous time for the human race.

Lucy (2014) – Esoteric Analysis

Film poster. Wikipedia.
Film poster. Wikipedia. Lucy in the Sky with Freeman.

By: Jay

Luc Besson has that rare, magical quality where his films teeter on the edge of being extremely mediocre and/or somewhat entertaining.  Similar themes run through his work, from La Femme Nikita to The Professional to The Fifth Element to The Messenger, focusing on the feminized goddess archetype rising above all adversity, in ferocious neo-Darwinian fashion.  Lucy is the climax of this goddess myth, wherein Scarlett Johansson plays an inadvertent drug mule, “Lucy,” roped into an international conspiracy that quickly departs into something resembling The Matrix meets Limitless meets 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I suppose it’s difficult to get away from being influenced by the top science fiction films, but at a certain point, audiences can only see so many Matrix-y bullet stopping scenes, and replacing Keanu with a hot chick doesn’t make it any better.  Regardless, the transhumanist plot is really the focus here, as the premise is basically this: Since humans only use a small portion of their latent brainpower, what would happen if a human could use all 100%?  And what if Morgan Freeman, Hollywood’s imagined, soulful voice of God/science, could help facilitate that ascent of (wo)man to godhood?  As I observed this silly plot, I was reminded of Gravity, where references to Darwinian apotheosis also abound, as woman takes humanity to the next level by a punctuated equilibrium jump in the evolutionary spectrum.  Here, sweet Scarlett will catapult us ahead to the vaginal tech utopia.
Like The Fifth Element, where Milla Jovovich plays a feminine incarnation of the aether, or quintessence, Lucy becomes the feminine incarnation of reason and robotic rationality as she gradually ascends into the adoption of taking on what classical theology has called the incommunicable attributes of God: omniscience and omnipresence.  We never know if Lucy attains to omnibenevolence. The film continually references Darwinian process, highlighting the survival of the fittest, aeons of slow mutation, and Lucy, the laughable supposed first chimp, who was a female.  Sorry, my fellow men, as Besson would have us understand, men are not preeminent in reason, nor are men the real power that propels order and civilization, as that exalted role is reserved for the first Lucy, the imagined female chimp, and the last Lucy, Scarlett Johansson.

Lucy is thus a conglomeration of all the myths of secular thought and for this reason it is highly instructive.  While secularists, atheists, and materialists lambaste those of us with religious presuppositions, they are amazingly oblivious to their own religious assumptions.  Lucy is a great example, where all the myths of modern man are combined into a story line that demonstrates just how preposterous and divorced from reality secular mythology is.   Neo-Darwinian theory, a chaotic, purposeless universe, and an imminent, emergent deity of feminist exemplification through transhumanism all coalesce to give us the future goddess: Lucy.  It is worthwhile to note that Lucy also brings to mind Lucifer, lucid, and LSD, all of which relate to various mind control programs by the intelligence agencies.  Lucifer is the archetypal figure of transhumanist thought, representing the ascent of reason to displace the ancient and medieval superstitions embodied in the patriarchal God of the Bible.  However, I must point out the total contradiction that the hoped-for emergent god/goddess of the technocracy, the great supercomputer, also takes on the very attributes they think are irrational?  The transhumanists firmly believe their merging with hard drives will lead to omniscience.

It is worth mentioning that in La Femme Nikita, The Fifth Element and in Lucy, MKULTRA mind control is also an important theme.  In Lucy, Lucy undergoes a kidnapping, drugging and accidental overdose, leading to her higher mental capacities “activating” through an advanced nootropic, wherein she becomes a perfectly cold assassin.  While the focus of the film is chance evolution and technocracy, this element cannot be overlooked.  Besson is clearly conveying to us the real purpose of the supersoldier programming that is now so prevalent in television and film – the perfection of (wo)man through mind control.   The occult message of Lucy is that evolution shows us that whatever testing and experimenting are done on humans is for the greater good.  Human testing is only propelling our evolutionary ascent, as we are merely animals, and only highly rational geniuses are able to understand this.  Since most of humanity cannot grasp these esoteric truths, the continued covert manipulation and bio-engineering must continue unabated.   Lucifer is guiding us to godhood – have faith, dear brothers, er sisters.
H.R. Giger's "Lilith"
H.R. Giger’s “Lilith”
In the end, Lucy downloads herself into a supercomputer and puts all her full-booty goodness into a thumb drive.  Unfortunately, only Morgan Freeman ends up with the Lilith Lucy thumb drive, so sorry fellas, no USB Johansson hotness for you.  Like Bruce Willis in The Fifth Element, the quintessence only unites with a worthy male supplicant, and in Lucy, the only worthy supplicant is the gnostic black neuroscientist.  Lucy is a perfect representation of the combination of the humanist teleology and eschatology.  The film is premised on the crucial occult, alchemical and Marxist belief that “progress” only comes through the inversion of all order and hierarchy.  Women are the ultimate rational beings, chaos produces order, and finitude somehow inherently creates infinity.  While many movie goers scoff at the silly plot based on its reviews, isn’t it interesting that so many people actually believe this secular gnostic mythology in their daily life, yet attack religion? How about a multee-pass to another film?

FLASH: DoD “Releases” Eisenhower Briefing Document

Fascinating that this mysterious piece of paper, maybe forged, maybe not, just found it's way into a Freedom of Information Act release....go figure...
by Joseph P. Farrell

Red Ice Creations, the website of Mr. Henrik Palmgren, is reporting in an article authored by the well-known researcher Nick redfern, that the US Department of Defense apparently released the well-known Majestic/MAJIC-12 “Eisenhower Briefing Document” as a part of a larger FOIA document release. Here’s that link:

Roswell, UFOs and Project Pandora

If one goes to this link,

FOIA Request Service Center

and then click on this link

Project Pandora PDF (“Operational Procedure for Project Pandora Microwave Test Facility PDF” on the DoD Foia request page),

and then go to page 449 of the PDF, voila! There is the Eisenhower Briefing Document, with a big handwritten-scrawl across the title page stating “This cannot be authenticated as an official DoD document. DoD FOIA Office.”

Oh really!? As readers of my book Roswell and the Reich will recall, researcher Stanton Friedman makes a very plausible and well-argued case that it is authentic, and researcher Dr. Kevin Randle a very persuasive case that it isn‘t. So what’s going on here!?

Scenario One: the document is authentic, but is not a DoD document, and somehow got placed in this particular file, coming from some other department of government, i.e., the celebrated MJ-12 itself.
Scenario Two: the document is not authentic, and was somehow placed in this file by someone with access to it, i.e., it was planted for whatever reason, either to lend credibility to it, or for some other purpose. But the bottom line is that someone had to have access to do so, which in the general context argues that, even if a fake, the document possesses some authenticity, some kernel of truth, whatever that kernel might be.

Scenario Three: whether authentic or not, the “release” of the document as part of a larger document may indicate that an attempt is being made to create a “slow drip” release, a “slow drip” sort of “disclosure”. The whole question here is, if it’s authentic, then the document, is a “slow drip disclosure,” means they’re trying to accustom people to an ET/UFO reality, and if it isn’t, then the purpose would be to keep the meme alive.

There are, of course, any number of other possible scenarios, but the bottom line is, this is one to watch.

George Soros Is Funding The Bioweapons Lab At The Focus of Ebola Outbreak

Not a shocker, as Mr. and Mrs. G are on file for wanting the eugenics of the useless/poor eaters on the planet who are just taking up too much space and resources for their liking...
*George Soros’s foundation funds the Kenema bioweapons lab at the focus of the Ebola outbreak, and which is about to be closed, apparently amid an investigation.

* WHO media coordinator Glenn Thomas was highly likely involved in fielding media and other inquries about how WHO view and what it planned to do about the controversial Kenema lab.

Was Glenn Thomas aware of hard evidence showing that the lab was faking positive diagnoses for Ebola — Tulane University? – in order to justify forcing people to undergo treatment which would give them Ebola? Did he refuse to go along with the cover up?

*The mainstream media is silent about the Kenema bioweapons lab closure as well as about the order to Tulane University to stop Ebola testing. So, what other channels are there left for this information to enter the public domain or be spread through social media networks if WHO does not release the information or take action?

*George Soros has links to Sierra Leone President Ernest Koroma

The Coming Persecution of the Faithful Church

Following the signs given by the Lord in Matthew 24:4-8, Luke 21:8-11 and Revelation 6:1-8, the next major event mentioned is a great persecution of Jesus followers.  Matthew 24:9 tells us that believers will be “delivered up to be afflicted”, “killed” and “hated by all nations for My Name’s sake”.  This same message is repeated in Luke 21:12.  Revelation 6:9-11 depicts many souls under an altar in heaven.  These are those slain for the Word of God and their testimony which they held.  This confirms the basic teaching of the Lord in scripture as seen in 2 Timothy 3:12 when Paul says that “all that will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution”.

This difficult period for believers does not come without a promise of God’s grace.  We know that Jesus promised He would be with us, “even unto the end of the world (age)”.  (Matthew 28:20)  This great promise echoes in Jesus instructions to His followers during this time period.  These include Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13 and Luke 21:13-19.   We are told that this time of great thlipsis, meaning crushing pressure, tribulation or affliction will “turn to (us) for a testimony”.  (Luke 21:13)  Also we are encouraged that “those that endure unto the end shall be saved”.  (Matthew 24:13)  Also that “not a hair of (our) head shall perish”, and that “in your patience (endurance) possess ye your souls”.  (Luke 21:18-19)  Jesus encourages us again in Revelation 12:11 that believers “overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of their testimony” and that “they loved not their lives unto death”.

The scriptures do speak clearly of a rapture, or “snatching away” of believers before the wrath of God is unleashed on earth.  (Matthew 24:31, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 2 Thessalonians 2:1)  This snatching away occurs after the first 5 seals of Revelation 6 are opened, and after the warning signs of Matthew 24:3-28 and Luke 21:6-11.  The snatching away protects us from the unleashing of God’s wrath on a sinful and cursed world as described by the trumpet and bowl judgments of Revelation chapters 8-9, 15 and 16.  This is clearly illustrated as the Day of the Lord in Matthew 24:29-30, Revelation 6:12 and Joel 2:30-31.  We further understand that this occurs in the final 3 ½ years of the age as mentioned in Daniel 9:27 and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4.  In these verses we see the anti-Christ will be revealed 3 ½ years into the final “week” of Daniel 9.  We also see that there will be a great apostasy or “falling away” of those called believers in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 before the “Day of the Lord” and the rapture, or the “snatching away” of God’s faithful witnesses.  Jesus even illustrated this in the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43.

Transhumanism and the End of Religion

Well, at least they are clear about what they intend to do...

John G. Messerly

Mankind is still embryonic … [humans are] the bud from which something more complicated and more centered than [humans themselves] should emerge. ~ Teilhard de Chardin
1. The End of Religion
Transhumanism is:
The intellectual and cultural movement that affirms the possibility and desirability of fundamentally improving the human condition through applied reason, especially by developing and making widely available technologies to eliminate aging and to greatly enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities … transhumanism is a way of thinking about the future that is based on the premise that the human species in its current form does not represent the end of our development but rather a comparatively early phase.[1]
Transhumanism appears to have nothing in common with religion, defined as: “the belief in and worship of a god or gods, or any such system of belief and worship…”[2] In transhumanism gods plays no role.

Yet the two are not entirely dissimilar. Like transhumanists, the religious generally want to overcome the limitations of the body and live forever in eternal bliss. Religions, arising before transhumanist ideas were conceivable, advised its followers to accept death and hope for the best, with no other options available. And religious beliefs provided comfort against natural evils before the advent of science and technology.

But must we relinquish religious beliefs now, before science gives us everything we want? Might we allow the comfort of religious beliefs to those who need them, to  those who must tell their children something when someone dies? The most important reason to abandon religious belief is religion’s opposition to most forms of progress. From the elimination of slavery, the use of birth control, and women’s and civil rights, to stem cell research, genetic engineering, and science in general, organized religion often opposes progress. The comfort provided by archaic superstitions often impedes advancement and should be set aside.

For decades the Vatican has convened some of the brightest minds in the scientific community around the world to ponder the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and to prepare a public disclosure on behalf of the Catholic Church in case the existence of aliens is confirmed.

Many scientists affirm we’re not far from establishing the “First Contact,” given the advances made is astronomy. Because of this, the Vatican wishes to be ready with a statement. It might not be a easy task for the church to interpret holy scripture—if not analyzed properly—if life is found on other planets and man is not the only creature made in the image of God.

This past March the Vatican Observatory and the University of Arizona organized a conference held in Tucson to discuss the advances made in the search for extraterrestrial life. The conference was inspired by the rapid discovery of planets, new findings on the thresholds of extreme conditions at which life on Planet Earth can survive, and new technology designed for the search of life on exoplanets.

Experts on the study of exoplanets, biologists, companies specializing in biosciences and atmospheric science also participated.

About 200 scientists from around the world attended the event “Search for life beyond the solar system.” They’re challenged with facing the possibility of finding alien life using an interdisciplinary approach.

Cydonia: The Secret Chronicles Of Mars "Alien Artifacts" Paper To Be Presented By Professor Paul Davies In September

Looks like a great delusion might be just around the corner...

By Bruce Dorminey

As nutty as it may seem to the uninitiated, the notion of looking for alien artifacts on our own Moon may finally be gaining mainstream scientific traction.

There are good reasons to seriously consider the possibility that at some point in the Earth-Moon system’s storied 4.5 billion year-old history, an alien intelligence may have passed through our solar system; leaving physical artifacts of their visits.

These artifacts would likely entail more than just alien space trash, and would arguably include evidence of alien scientific or industrial activity, such as extremely advanced lunar mining, energy generation; even technology related to lunar nearside Earth reconnaissance.
Or so says Paul Davies, a longtime SETI (Search for Extraterrestial Intelligence) researcher, physicist, and now Director of the Beyond Center at Arizona State University in Tempe.

At least one related paper on the subject is due to presented at the September meeting of the UK SETI Research Network, a group of mainstream British academicians. But even a decade ago, talk of alien lunar artifacts was mostly beyond the ken of anything remotely resembling the mainstream astronomical community.

The Search for Ancient Off-Planet Artifacts…and Crowd Funding

by Joseph P. Farrell

Regular readers of this site of of my books know that I am one of those who maintains there’s a great deal of indication of “strange stuff” on our celestial neighbors, the Moon and Mars particularly. Indeed, I’m one of those like many others in this strange alternative research community who thinks that “going out there and getting it” may have formed some part of the hidden agendas and motivations for the various space programs of the USA and USSR back in the days of the “space race”, including being a possible hidden agenda for the Apollo program itself. More recently, some researchers – this author among them – have commented on the growing race to commercialize space, and its consequences. One of these consequences is that commercialization, or to use that quintessential term of misdirection, “privatization,” will result in a new round of space secrecy. We’re all familiar with the allegations that NASA has withheld or doctored pictures from space, and particularly from the Moon or Mars. Now put that in the hands of a corporation with “proprietary rights” to whatever is found out there, and you can forget airbrushing (or obfuscating the pixels) of the “inconvenient thing” that might be photographed or encountered.

Now, it seems, some “mainstream” scientists are giving the idea serious attention, and want to use crowd source funding to pour through NASA’s photographic archives and look for more evidence:

Alien Artifacts On The Moon?

But this may be a case of “too little too late,” or, if one prefer, “we told you so,” for consider this statement:
“’In searching for artifacts, one is looking for ‘something fishy’,’ said Davies. ‘But ‘fishiness’ requires a human decision in advance about a signature of artificiality. There are some simple examples, like right angle edges. But we have little idea what million year-old technology might look like.’”
Really!?  Right angles!? and “stuff like that”!? You don’t say!  Why, here I thought that’s what people like Dr. John Brandenburg, Dr. Mark Carolotto, Richard Hoagland, Don Ecker, Allan Sturm, and even, heaven help us, Fred Steckling and George Leonard, and a host of others in an almost endless list had already been doing for the past few decades. So what this might herald is simply an effort to do the same thing that others have been doing, only now to give it official “scientific” sanction (apparently Carolotto and Brandenburg aren’t enough). Well….maybe….

But there’s another possibility. It’s one of those “impossible” possibilities in the coming new era of space commercialization. Suppose, for a moment, that someone founds a “Plymouth Rock Company.” Let’s call it the Cydonia Rock Company or the Tsiolkovsky Crater Company, and suppose they start selling shares at a euro per share… suppose they resort, in other words, to crowd funding to raise the money to build their own space probe with fancy cameras to “go take some pictures”… German or Japanese optics, Russian or French rockets, and just so things manage to avoid NSA snooping, non-American computer and telemetry systems, and a remote island in, say, Indonesia with their very own private bunker to collect and analyze the pictures, which they will release to all their shareholders and post on You Tube. Heck, why not build two or three probes, one for the Moon, one for Mars, and one for wherever else…? Nothing fancy… just some rockets, radios, and really good cameras to take some pictures. No need for radar tomography and all the other bells and whistles on “official” space probes.

Now, even if the radio signals were jammed, and no pictures obtained, that would be a big clue and confirmation that “Yes, folks, they really are hiding something. ‘They’ just interfered with our picture transmissions.”

…and oh yea, in case you haven’t been following all weird space pictures, right angles and “other indicators” of artificiality there are a plenty. Crowd-funded and “privately” developed space probes might finally pry the lid of space secrecy open a bit more.

And that, I suspect, was the “hidden text” in the Forbes article.

Yea… I’d donate a dollar or two to such a project.
