After watching the bizarre, grotesque performance of the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana, the Enterprise crew never had a chance...
And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death. (Rev. 12:11) Watch, and pray

People Can Do Amazing Things - 2013

Fearless Surfer Conquers Epic 100-Foot Wave
Truth is, the picture is just too cool. Can you imagine riding a 100-foot tall wave? Can you imagine what would have happened if he wiped out? Amazing.
By Beth Carter
Garrett McNamara rides an epic wave believed to be 100
feet tall off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal. Once the height is confirmed,
Garrett will have eclipsed his previous record of 78 feet. Photo: Tó
Mané/Nazare Qualifica
World record-holding surfer and known thrill-seeker Garrett
McNamara is believed to have surfed the biggest wave ever, a 100-footer he rode
off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal.
Word of the feat still has to be confirmed by the good folks at
Guinness, but the 45-year-old Hawaiian is stoked by the accomplishment.
“Thank you for all your support. It means the world to me,”
McNamara tweeted yesterday. “Today was an awesome day and so fun to be out
there.”
A picture of the feat, taken by surf photographer Tó Mané,
underscores the enormity of what McNamara has done. He is but a tiny dot on the
face of the wave.
McNamara is no stranger to epic waves. He already held the
title for the biggest wave ever surfed, having nailed a 78-footer at the
Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards in Nazaré last year. This record was
originally reported to be 90 feet and not the actual 77.7559 feet that was later
announced after video and photo analysis. So was this really a record breaker?
Whatever the final outcome, that was one amazing ride.
Nazaré is considered to have the perfect conditions for
big-wave surfing thanks to the Nazaré Canyon, an underwater canyon that is 1,000
feet deep, three miles wide and 105 miles long. When Atlantic swells hit the
canyon, it funnels them out, creating monster waves like the two caught by
McNamara.

Pardon Me, I've Been AT&T'd
And that's not a good thing. Thanks to AT&T dropping service to much of the southeast U.S., I've been offline for a while. In a display of the new and improved corporate arrogance, the company insists very few of it's customers are affected and refuses to give a clear answer on what has happened. The customer service center in India told me that the problem was "technical glitches". No kidding.

Legendary Metal Library Found in Tayos Cave in Ecuador
A team of explorers is claiming that they have found the legendary metal library and various other treaures and ancient objects in the Tayos Cave system in Ecuador.
In what maybe one of the biggest discoveries ever, a team of explorers is claiming that they have found the legendary golden library and other mysterious treasures in the Tayos Cave system in Ecuador. The team announced that they accidentally found some hidden tunnels that were obviously dug out artificially sometime in the ancient past while inside one of the main chambers. The team was able to follow one of these tunnels for approximately ½ mile and came upon a large room containing the golden library and various other treasures. Below is a list of what the explorers claim to have found in this chamber:
- A library with thousands of metal books. The team was unable to specify what metal the books were made of but the look was similar to silver. Each page had symbols and strange writing on them.
- Individual plates with writing on them and strange symbols that looked to be made of gold.
- At least several hundred statues of insects, animals and humans spread throughout the large chamber.
- Lots of metal bars thought to be both gold and/or silver. Also found were various children’s toys and jewelry items made from gold or silver.
- One large sarcophagus containing one human skeleton decorated with jewels and golden jewelry.
- The team also found at least three doors that could be more tombs but were sealed completely shut.

As of right now, the team has only announced their findings onto a radio show and no other announcements have been made so the jury is still out as too whether their claims are completely true. The team did claim to have samples of at least one of the metal books, one golden plate and several small statues that they will be submitting to professional testing so hopefully this will give us answers shortly.
The team would not reveal the location of this incredible finding only saying that it is part of the Tayos Cave system. The explorers claim that they have concealed the location once again to make sure no one else locates the treasure until they get their samples tested. Once testing is complete, they agreed on the radio program to bring in a large professional team to fully excavate the site as long as they were part of it and were not robbed of their findings.
Stay tuned …….

Spectacular black and white pictures show the best views of Saturn's rings ever captured
By Daily Mail Reporter
These stunning black and white photographs look like the result of a particularly creative art project.
But in fact they are part of a scientific mission - and they were captured not by an artist, but by a satellite orbiting the planet Saturn.
The beautiful images taken by the Cassini probe show parts of the rings which encircle the solar system's second largest planet.
As well as providing a visual treat for the earthbound unable to get up close and personal with the rings, they are providing a valuable service to scientists, according to Space.com.
Although the rings appear to be static and fixed, they are in fact constantly moving and fluctuating in ways which have puzzled astronomers and can now be studied more closely.
In addition, it is now known that the rings contain 'propeller shapes' caused by small moonlets passing through, another phenomenon being brought to light by Cassini.
The probe was first launched in 1997, and has been orbiting Saturn since 2006.
It has recently changed the path of its orbit, which is why it is transmitting clear images of the planet's rings for the first time in two years.
'We're entering a new episode in Cassini's exploratory voyage through the Saturn system, said Carolyn Porco from the Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
'These new ring results are an early harbinger of great things to come.'
Those of us stuck here on earth can also get a chance to observe Saturn - even if our view is somewhat less spectacular.
The planet is shining very brightly at the moment and can be seen with the naked eye on a clear night.

Stunning: These beautiful pictures of Saturn's rings were taken by a space probe orbiting the second largest planet in the solar system

Satellites: As well as rings, the Cassini spacecraft has taken amazing pictures of Saturn's moons

Artistic: But the beautiful images were actually created in the name of science

Harmonious: But although Saturn may look peaceful, its rings are in fact constantly fluctuating

Angles: The new images were made possible by Cassini changing its orbit for the first time in two years

Useful: Scientists are using the images to analyse mysterious propeller shapes which frequently appear within the rings

Apocalypse Dam: China's giant man-made waterfall as floodgates are opened
Okay, this is only here because of the cool pics. But they are pretty cool...
It is an scene of almost apocalyptic proportions.
Bystanders are dwarfed as they stand watching a tremendous rush of water gushing through gaps in a dam in China, part of a carefully-choreographed operation to remove silt from the Yellow River in Luoyang, in the Henan province.
This annual operation sees more than 30 million tonnes of silt sent downstream a year, with more than 390 million tonnes shifted this way over the last 13 years.
The silt-carrying water gushes out of three specialised holes in the dam of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir on the Yellow River during the annual silt-washing operation.
The Yellow River authority says such operations lowers the river bed in the lower reach of the river by an average of 2.03 meters each year.
The dam stands at 154m (505ft) tall and is 1,317m (4,321ft) wide. When it was built opened in 2000, following a six-year construction, it had cost US$3.5billion to construct

Questions for Self Discovery
Below are seven questions to help individuals find out just where they are at in their spiritual walk. Needless to say, if tv enters into any of your answers, you have some spiritual work to do. These are from "That Incredible Christian", written by A.W. Tozer.

1) What do you want most?
2) What do you think about most?
3) How do you use your money?
4) What do you do with your leisure time?
5) What company do you enjoy?
6) Who and what do you admire?
7) What do you laugh at?
