According to the most recent statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), lethal heroin overdoses nearly quadrupled between 2000 and 2013 in the US, escalating from 0.7 to 2.7 deaths per 100,000 during this timeframe.
Heroin-related deaths were nearly four times more prevalent among men than women in 2013, and lethal overdoses were highest among Caucasians between the ages of 25 and 44. The greatest increase in heroin-related deaths was seen after 2010.
As noted by Medical News Today:¹

"During the period investigated, the researchers found an average increase in heroin-related drug-poisoning deaths of six percent per year from 2000 through to 2010.
From 2010 through 2013, the average increase was a staggering 37 percent per year..."

Prescription Painkillers Are the New Gateway Drugs

What many fail to realize is that this trend is actually fueled by legal drug addiction. The reason for the resurgence of heroin is in large part due to it being less expensive than its prescription counterparts.
Addictive prescription drugs such as Vicodin, OxyContin, Percocet, codeine, and Fentora, all of which are opioids (derivatives of opium) are widely overprescribed for pain.
Many painkiller addicts also turn to heroin when their tolerance level surpasses their allotted prescription dosage, or when they're no longer allowed to refill their prescription.
According to previous statistics, prescriptions for opioid painkillers have risen by a staggering 300 percent over the past decade.² As of 2012, 259 million prescriptions for opioids and other narcotic painkillers were written³ in the US, and these drugs actually claim far more lives than heroin does.
In 2010, prescription painkillers were responsible for 16,600 deaths; heroin was involved in about 3,000.⁴ By 2013, the number of heroin deaths had increased to 8,257,⁵ but as noted in the featured article:⁶

"Although heroin-related drug-poisoning deaths have increased sharply in recent years, the overall rate is still considerably lower than that for opioid analgesics.
In addition, NIDA [National Institute on Drug Abuse] suggest that the abuse of prescription opioids such as Oxycontin and Vicodin could be the first step toward heroin abuse for many people."

Dr. Andrew Kolodny, chief medical officer at a drug treatment center called Phoenix House has also previously spoken out on this issue, noting that:⁷

"Heroin use is increasing because we have an epidemic of opioid addiction (caused by overexposure of our population to painkillers) and not enough has been done to expand access to treatment in communities hit hardest."

Financial Conflicts of Interest Fuel Narcotic Prescription Rates

Despite dramatic increases in prescriptions, two recent papers assert that no solid evidence can be found in the medical literature supporting the long-term safety and effectiveness of narcotic painkillers.
Many suffering from chronic pain end up using painkillers for years on end, yet there are no studies longer than one year on record. Most trials do not go past six weeks.

Remembering the Armenian Genocide Conducted by the Ottoman Empire (Turkey)

While the assault on the Khazar Jews and gypsys of WWII is never far from the mainstream conversation, no one talks about the greatest Christian persecution of modern history, one that has been avoided by mainstream news and denied or ignored by the Turkish government who executed it. That is known as the Armenian genocide, and we are now honoring the 100th anniversary of this hidden mass murder by the Ottoman (Turkish) empire.

In April of 1915 tens of thousands of Armenian men were rounded up and shot. Hundreds of thousands of women, old men and children were deported south across the mountains to Cilicia and Syria. On April 15 the Armenians appealed to the German Ambassador in Constantinople for formal German protection. This was rejected by Berlin on the grounds that it would offend the Turkish Government. By April 19 more than 50,000 Armenians had been murdered in the Van province.

Within nine months, more than 600,000 Armenians were massacred. Of the deported during that same period, more than 400,000 perished of the brutalities and privations of the southward march into Mesopotamia. By September more than a million Armenians were the victims of what later became known as the Armenian Genocide! A further 200,000 were forcibly converted to Islam to give Armenia a new Turkish sense of identity and strip the Armenian people of their past as the first Christian state in the world.

What ISIS Really Wants

This is a long, detailed article but with only a few sources, and leaves some of the primary questions about the group unanswered.  Such as, how did ISIS form in Iraq while it was still under U.S. occupation?  Why are they so well funded?  Why are a majority of their members apparently well trained military from the U.S. and Great Britain?  And why would they allow names like ISIS to be used in their identity if they are such radical muslims?  A true muslim would be greatly offended at the use of a pagan goddess name to identify them. 

As always with major journal articles, read with caution.  This may just be what the establishment wants us to think of this mystery group.

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it.

What is the Islamic State?

 

Where did it come from, and what are its intentions? The simplicity of these questions can be deceiving, and few Western leaders seem to know the answers. In December, The New York Times published confidential comments by Major General Michael K. Nagata, the Special Operations commander for the United States in the Middle East, admitting that he had hardly begun figuring out the Islamic State’s appeal. “We have not defeated the idea,” he said. “We do not even understand the idea.” In the past year, President Obama has referred to the Islamic State, variously, as “not Islamic” and as al-Qaeda’s “jayvee team,” statements that reflected confusion about the group, and may have contributed to significant strategic errors.

The group seized Mosul, Iraq, last June, and already rules an area larger than the United Kingdom. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been its leader since May 2010, but until last summer, his most recent known appearance on film was a grainy mug shot from a stay in U.S. captivity at Camp Bucca during the occupation of Iraq. Then, on July 5 of last year, he stepped into the pulpit of the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul, to deliver a Ramadan sermon as the first caliph in generations—upgrading his resolution from grainy to high-definition, and his position from hunted guerrilla to commander of all Muslims. The inflow of jihadists that followed, from around the world, was unprecedented in its pace and volume, and is continuing.

Our ignorance of the Islamic State is in some ways understandable: It is a hermit kingdom; few have gone there and returned. Baghdadi has spoken on camera only once. But his address, and the Islamic State’s countless other propaganda videos and encyclicals, are online, and the caliphate’s supporters have toiled mightily to make their project knowable. We can gather that their state rejects peace as a matter of principle; that it hungers for genocide; that its religious views make it constitutionally incapable of certain types of change, even if that change might ensure its survival; and that it considers itself a harbinger of—and headline player in—the imminent end of the world.

The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), follows a distinctive variety of Islam whose beliefs about the path to the Day of Judgment matter to its strategy, and can help the West know its enemy and predict its behavior. Its rise to power is less like the triumph of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (a group whose leaders the Islamic State considers apostates) than like the realization of a dystopian alternate reality in which David Koresh or Jim Jones survived to wield absolute power over not just a few hundred people, but some 8 million.

We have misunderstood the nature of the Islamic State in at least two ways. First, we tend to see jihadism as monolithic, and to apply the logic of al‑Qaeda to an organization that has decisively eclipsed it. The Islamic State supporters I spoke with still refer to Osama bin Laden as “Sheikh Osama,” a title of honor. But jihadism has evolved since al-Qaeda’s heyday, from about 1998 to 2003, and many jihadists disdain the group’s priorities and current leadership.

Technocratic Death Drive, or the Historic Push for Eugenics

Those who constantly lean on the bad science of evolution never seem to acknowledge their origin.  Darwin's infamous "On The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection" is quite famous, but the sub-title is always left out.  It reads; "Or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life".  So who are the favoured races?  The Bible teaches only one race, the "Human" race, but evolution teaches some are more "evolved" than others.  Apparently the color of your skin, or the education you were afforded growing up, perhaps the political ideals you hold true, these things separate those who are "favoured" from those who should be sterilized or euthanized. 

The Communists and the Fascists of World War II both held ideas of racial superiority based on ethnicity or IQ.  And so did the state sponsored educational institutions of the U.S.A.  For more background on this, read on...

People are able to discern good from evil. More or less everybody will recognize and condemn an atrocity exhibited on their TV screens, provided they have no stake in it. In this respect, social networks present us with a panoramic display of humanity’s certainty in its moral principles. Namely, that’s where thousands upon thousands like the photo of some little, dying “angel” and write condemnatory comments under the picture of some sadist caught poisoning dogs. Whether they are themselves good or evil is immaterial. They passed their judgments and ascertained what is and what is not good. Admittedly, the principles providing them with the capability for moral judgment are rarely explicitly defined. Yet who would doubt, for instance, the sanctity of human life and the obligation to respect its final act as unquestionable values? The virtual heart and like under the photo of the gravely ill child, as well as the hateful commentary on the dog killer, clearly prove this fact.
Or do they?

Judging by the way things are going: no, they do not. Fleeting certainties of life are in fact its underlying principles. But nowadays man is offered a bold and final step over their boundaries. He is carried by a gushing stream of illusory freedom, springing from the illusory affirmation of importance by its consumers, i.e. continual progress in consummation of human rights. It is the demolition of everything that once was, without second thought, accepted as good and evil, and the institution of a system defining ‘acceptable’ and ‘unacceptable’. All is good if it’s not evil, and evil itself is nothing because it’s not good. In that sense there are no limits to freedom if there are no rational reasons for them, so the final sanctuary of the irrational, a final possible evil, is brought to judgment. It is death itself and its occasional accomplice – murder. “The right to die,” or opting to end one’s life by the hand of another, becomes the demand that can’t be ignored. The right to euthanasia is slowly but surely creeping up the list of human rights advocates’ priorities. And really, why hit the brakes when the highway of freedom is infinite and every few miles we storm by that jumbo-scale billboard that shouts, “Because you deserve it!”?

Here is why. Man must wake up in the middle of the night, sits up in his sweat-soaked bed and asks himself, “If death is my right, isn’t it therefore my duty?”

Early Euthanasia Movement and the Nazi Stigma

Euthanasia is a term still bearing the burden of dark connotations, and its contemporary advocates are all too careful to avoid using it explicitly. No surprise there because, however you flip it, Thanatos arouses no pleasing sensations, even if you pin eu- to it. Also, we must not forget that “mercy killing” in the previous century had its first legal coming-out party in Nazi Germany in the form of the Aktion T4[1] program conducted from 1939 to 1941, and aimed at the “mercy killing” of children and adults deemed “unfit to live”. Bearing in mind that, alongside the lethal injection and nutrition deprivation, it also premiered in the experimental gas chambers, it is strongly believed that Aktion T4 was a sort of exercise in preparation for the death camps. The program was publicly canceled on the 23^rd of July, 1941, because Hitler had to respond to sermons by the bishop of Münster, Clemens von Galen,[2] who unequivocally condemned the whole affair. However, the euthanasia program continued incognito, and the bishop’s clerical cadre was cut down to size.

Hitler’s experiment in eugenics almost unintentionally “mercy-killed” the young euthanasia movement in the West. Ignoring the state of affairs across the Atlantic, the Euthanasia Society of America,[3] founded in New York in 1938, committed something along the lines of botched PR-suicide, when in the wake of World War II, it openly advocated the primary purpose of euthanasia as being the removal of “undesirable creatures”, meaning erasing those they deemed unfit for dignified life. In the clear words of its representative, neurologist Foster Kennedy[4], the overall purpose was conceived as mercy for “nature’s mistakes”, the mercy killing of “a person, who is not a person”. Such straightforwardness – seldom present among the contemporary advocates of euthanasia, as we shall see – is due to close ties between early euthanasia initiatives and the eugenics movement. In the age of the rise of Nazism and the beginning of the WWII, it proved to be a terrible advertising experiment. Euthanasia advocates had to wait for the revolutionary changes of the sixties in order to make a public comeback free from fear of lynching, although this time endowed with strict rhetorical discipline and new names for their organizations.

The mastheads must be another coincidence.

 

But we must wonder, would all this fuss have taken place if not for Hitler? Eugenics,[5] or science of selection and nurture of desirable individuals was, before WWII, practically mainstream among American financial and scientific elites. The point of agreement with euthanasia advocates was the idea of systematization of acceptable and unacceptable species in a society conceived as a kind of zoo, admittedly not on the grounds of a Nazi-like Volk, but on the grounds of what we now call “quality of life” and the “autonomy of the individual”. In those days the term was “the pursuit of happiness,” in the sense of an individual’s right to accomplish material satisfaction, or enjoyment of life, as guaranteed by law. It is interesting to note, and at the same time seemingly hard to understand: wherein lies the autonomy of a sick child being killed by physician like a blind puppy? It is interesting because the accent of euthanasia movement in USA and UK before World War Two was laid precisely on “cleansing” society of infants unfit for quality autonomous life, while only since the nineteen-seventies do we find it staked as a right of conscious and autonomous individuals, mostly elderly people. But where there is a will there is a way. And where there is a way, there’s no trouble in procuring the logic. We’ll return to that later.

Officials Warn Ebola Crisis 'Unprecedented In Modern Times'

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama is expected to announce that he will be sending 3,000 U.S. military personnel to Liberia in an attempt to help stem the growing Ebola crisis that has already claimed thousands of lives and decimated entire communities in west Africa.

However, public health officials say that the response may amount to 'too little, too late' as new estimates reveal potentially hundreds of thousands may be infected by the end of the year. As the delay in action by the international community has caused the virus to completely overtake the capacity of the public health systems in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, officials warn that the crisis has grown to a level "unparalleled in modern times."

"The nature of response is so far behind the virus, so far behind the scale of need, that it's almost impossible to quantify how we really do need to respond," Laurie Garrett, senior fellow for Global Health at the Council on Foreign Relations, told Democracy Now! on Monday. As Garrett explains, local hospitals are so completely overfull that "people are literally dying on the sidewalks and in the dirt roads outside the hospitals."

Because of this, she says, most of the people who contract the disease are being treated at home, causing the disease to spread exponentially. She estimates that total number of those infected may be threefold official estimates, and are likely "in the neighborhood of 12,000 to 15,000 cumulative cases."

According to the World Health Organization's latest figures, 2,461 have been killed and 4,985 diagnosed with the deadly virus.

"We either find a way to mobilize on a scale unprecedented in modern time for epidemic response," Garrett continued, "or we will be looking at something like a quarter-million cases by Christmas."

Robots on the battlefield can be lethal and even repairable.  Their use is being debated at the UN, particularly since some will soon be given decision making capabilities. Currently deploying a robot in the field still relies on a soldier using remote control, and then only to a distance of about 800m (2,600ft).
But what happens when we eventually take humans out of the loop? Many critics worry that marrying advances in robotics, advanced weapons, microelectronics miniaturisation, with developments in neural network-based artificial intelligence (AI) could lead to a potential Terminator scenario.

Robot drones like the MAAR-system will be increasingly common on future battlefields. This is one example of how sci-fi movies like the Terminator predicted the future

There is a clear consensus among the global elite that overpopulation is the primary cause of the most important problems that the world is facing and that something desperately needs to be done about it.  They truly believe that humans are a plague upon the earth and that we will literally destroy the planet if we are left to our own devices.  To the elite, everything from global warming to our growing economic problems can be directly traced back to the lack of population control.  They warn that if nothing is done about the exploding population, we will be facing a future full of poverty, war and suffering on a filthy, desolate planet.  They complain that it “costs too much” to keep elderly patients that are terminally ill alive, and they eagerly promote abortion for babies that are “not wanted” because they would be “too much of a burden” on society.  Anything that reduces the human population in any way is a good thing for those that believe in this philosophy.  This twisted philosophy is being promoted in our movies, in our television shows, in our music, in countless books, on many of the most prominent websites in the world, and it is being taught at nearly all of the most important colleges and universities on the planet.  The people promoting this philosophy have very, very deep pockets, and they are actually convinced that they are helping to “save the world” by trying to reduce the size of the human population.  In fact, many of them are entirely convinced that we are in a “life or death” struggle for the fate of the planet, and that if humanity does not willingly choose to embrace population control soon, then a solution will have to be “forced” upon them.
Yes, I know that all of this may sound like something out of a science fiction novel.  But there are a whole lot of people out there that are absolutely obsessed with this stuff, and many of them are in very prominent positions around the globe.

Christians are being persecuted by Islamic terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

The “ISIS” Islamic terrorists have literally CRUCIFIED people in Iraq recently, and have marked the houses of Christians … presumably for execution.

They have told Christians in Mosel, “convert to Islam or die“. They have pulled down crosses at churches in Iraq.   Thousands of residents of Iraq’s biggest Christian town have been forced to flee their homes as the ISIS killers overran their town and said: “leave, convert or die“.

The ISIS terrorists are not only beheading adult Christians, but they are systematically beheading CHILDREN.

In Syria, rebels fighting against the Syrian government told Christians, “Either you convert to Islam or you will be beheaded.”   Syrian rebels slit the throat of Christian man who refused to convert to Islam, taunting his fiance by yelling: “Jesus didn’t come to save him!”  And – like the Islamic terrorists in Iraq – they’ve  CRUCIFIED Christians.

A former Syrian Jihadi says the rebels have a “9/11 ideology”.  Indeed, they’re literally singing Bin Laden’s praises and celebrating the 9/11 attack:

Is the Rise of the ISIS Terrorist Caliphate Fulfillment of the Prophecy of Zechariah 5?

Zechariah 5:5-11 is a prophecy uttered by Zechariah concerning a future time when a goddess, a divine female would be placed in a basket covered with lead,  This woman, called "wickedness" in verse 8, will be released in the Plain of Shinar, site of Ancient Babylon and modern-day Iraq.  In verse 11 she would have a house built for her and she would be placed upon her base.  Is ISIS a clear sign that the wickedness has been released and her house and base are being built and expanded by this terrorist group?

The terrorist group ISIS or ISIL depending on the news agency reporting certainly didn't name itself.  Unless they aren't actually Muslims.  In the case of the ISIL name, the L stands for Levant, a French name for the Eastern Mediterranean region centered on Israel.  The origin of the word is Latin, a language no self-respecting Muslim would ever use.  For Muslims it's Arabic only.  In the case of ISIS, no real Muslim would use the term because it's the name of the pagan goddess of ancient Egypt.  Muslims believe in only one God, Allah.  You may remember that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, during their brief time in power, considered destroying the Great Pyramid, Sphinx, et al., because they were relics of Egypt's pagan past.

So the names are coming from someone in the west, likely someone in government who feeds the stories to the press.  But why these names?  Why specifically ISIS? 

ISIS is the "Queen of Heaven" and "God-Mother" of the Ancient Egyptian pantheon of gods.  Another more sinister title was "wife of the god of the abyss".  In reality, history shows the true link of this goddess.

Astarte, Isis, Artemis, Diana, Mary, all are simply different names for the same "Queen of Heaven" and "Mother of god".  She will ultimately be revealed as MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND  ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)  It would seem she holds another name as well.  Rishah in Hebrew is "wickedness", and is found in Zechariah 5:5-11.  Here she is a spiritual being, taken by two female angels (that's the only place in scripture describing female angels) in a lead covered basket, placed in the "plain of Shinar".  It would seem in the case of this ISIS that someone has gone to great lengths (USA, Saudi Arabia?) to arm and establish this murderous band in the land of ancient Babylon.



So is the terrorist/mercenary group ISIS a symbol that "wickedness" has been released in these last days?  ISIS originated in the plain of Shinar and are beginning to spread out from that base, apparently slaughtering thousands who don't fully co-operate along the way.  For a group that has an estimated size of 3,000 men, they are wreaking incredible havoc across Iraq and now slowly making their way into neighboring countries.  No doubt some very wealthy and connected persons have armed the with the newest and best weapons any terrorist might hope for.  The slaughter of Christians in that region is now fully underway. 




This story isn't complete without mentioning the bizarre Katy Perry which is full of symbols of her as the goddess Isis, as well as the name of the video being "dark horse", hearkening back to the release of the four horsemen which will be unleashed any day now...

We should also know that Isis was associated with magic, actually considered the goddess who had mastered the black arts above all the other gods.  Including the magic of being able to resurrect her dead husband, Osiris.  Speaking of magic, it was good of Christine Legarde , Head of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) or the commercial center of all banking on the planet to tell us earlier this year that 2014 was indeed the "year of magic". 
 

It would appear 2014 is indeed a very important year to the goddess Isis.  If it is truly Isis magic year, it's going to be a very ominous time for the human race.

Here's one more for the coming "Internet of Things" - an implantable birth control microchipcould hit the U.S. market by 2018 thanks to funding by globalist billionaire and population control enthusiast Bill Gates.

The new microchip implant reportedly lasts up to 16 years and can be controlled via wireless remote device, but don't worry; researchers are quick to reassure that each microchip comes with "secure encryption" (you know, the kind that's even being hacked and exploited in the new smart light bulbs).

Considering this is the same guy who has also funded an oral bait vaccine that sterilizes rats (see: "Rodent Biocontrol and Crop Protection" here) and genetically engineered vaccinating mosquitoes, a treatment that by its very nature couldn't possibly generate the consent of all patients involved, the profound implications of Gates' new birth control microchip on human reproduction are astounding.

Of course...this technology could also fulfill the use described by current White House Science Czar John P. Holdren and his writing partner Paul Ehrlich in their 1977 text Ecoscience for involuntary fertility control when they declared,

"The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births." (Pp. 786-7)

In the backwards world of science, microbiologists are creating altered, devastating plagues using the argument that someone else might do this, so they have to do it to try to make a vaccine, for the plague that doesn't exist yet.  If the world was just, these folks would be locked up for a long time...

Scientists express horror over the creation of a virus that could render the human immune system defenceless.

 

    

A controversial scientist who carried out provocative research on making influenza viruses more infectious has completed his most dangerous experiment to date by deliberately creating a pandemic strain of flu that can evade the human immune system.

Yoshihiro Kawaoka of the University of Wisconsin-Madison has genetically manipulated the 2009 strain of pandemic flu in order for it to "escape" the control of the immune system's neutralising antibodies, effectively making the human population defenceless against its reemergence.

Most of the world today has developed some level of immunity to the 2009 pandemic flu virus, which means that it can now be treated as less dangerous "seasonal flu". However, The Independent understands that Professor Kawaoka intentionally set out to see if it was possible to convert it to a pre-pandemic state in order to analyse the genetic changes involved.

The study is not published, however some scientists who are aware of it are horrified that Dr Kawaoka was allowed to deliberately remove the only defence against a strain of flu virus that has already demonstrated its ability to create a deadly pandemic that killed as many as 500,000 people in the first year of its emergence.

Ebola "out of control in West Africa" - deaths surge to 467, a 38% increase in one week - WHO

One of the nastiest modern plagues has apparently been altered in a lab so that it has a longer incubation period.  This allows those contaminated to travel more/longer before symptoms show, meaning a much deadlier plague.

The outbreak of deadly Ebola virus is scything through West Africa with the number of deaths rising sharply over the past week to 467 people, the World Health Organisation said in its latest report on the uncontrollable epidemic.

In addition to the confirmed deaths in the countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, the WHO announced that the number of confirmed or suspected cases of the virus has risen to 759. Ebola virus disease (EVD), formerly known as Ebola haemorrhagic fever (EHF) has a mortality rate of up to 90 percent.

"As of 30 June 2014, the cumulative number of cases attributed to EVD in the three countries stands at 759, including 467 deaths," WHO said in their latest alert statement.

The new update shows a 38 percent increase in the number of deaths and a 27 percent rise in the number of suspected cases since the WHO update last Tuesday, making it West Africa's deadliest Ebola epidemic on record. Last week, the death toll from Ebola stood at 399 as of June out of 635 cases.

Guinea with a population of just over 10 million is suffering the worst from the outbreak with 413 cases and 303 deaths. Neighboring Liberia witnessed 65 deaths among 107 registered cases, while Sierra Leone is treating 239 patients, 99 of whom have died.

Last Friday, the WHO issued a warning to the states bordering the three West African nations - Male, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Guinea Bissau - cautioning the governments that the virus could pass into their countries through infected people.

Superbugs threaten return to 'dark ages'

Britain will lead a global fightback against antibiotic-resistant superbugs to prevent the world from being "cast back into the dark ages of medicine", David Cameron is to announce today.

The rise of untreatable bacteria threatens an "unthinkable scenario" where minor infections could once again kill, the prime minister told The Times in a warning about what he described as one of the biggest health threats facing the world.

Tens of thousands of people are already dying of infections that have evolved resistance to common treatments and the World Health Organisation has warned that routine operations and minor scratches could become fatal if nothing is done.

Mr Cameron has become the first world leader to speak out about the threat, signalling escalating global concern at the highest level.

He believes that he has the agreement of President Obama and Angela Merkel for co-ordinated action to find new drugs after raising the issue with them privately at a G7 summit last month.

"This is not some distant threat but something happening right now," Mr Cameron said. "If we fail to act, we are looking at an almost unthinkable scenario where antibiotics no longer work and we are cast back into the dark ages of medicine where treatable infections and injuries will kill once again.

FBI Agent: Synthetic Biology Could “Reduce Our Population”

The New York Times reported earlier this month on a conference held at MIT on May 1 that discussed synthetic biology. The conference gathered an interesting group of scientists and Homeland Security representatives.

One of the law enforcement speakers at the conference was FBI agent Carmine Nigro. He is quoted by the Times as saying regarding synthetic biology, “These technologies do not just pose a risk to individual buildings or cities, but if cleverly deployed, can reduce our population by significant percentages.”

FBI agent Carmine Nigro’s powerpoint presentation began ominously with a quote from philosopher Edmund Burke: “When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.”

This disturbing comment comes as synthetic biology is being quietly inserted into the food supply this year via synthetic biology vanilla.

Synthetic biology, according to a 2005 European Commission paper is “…the engineering of biology… the synthesis of complex, biologically based (or inspired) systems which display functions that do not exist in nature.” Unlike the older science of splicing genes from different species together, synthetic biology is seeking to create whole new organisms that do not exist on earth.

If you have heard of the "dead scientists list" from about 10 years past, you probably heard the story about "someone" killing off scientist who may have worked on a government sponsored program to genetically engineer a virus or flu that would affect only a particular people group.  Like say, those of Middle Eastern descent.  So far, MERS has fit the bill.  It's only been spread to people of Middle Eastern Descent.  As you will see below, even those cases in other countries have been Middle Eastern peoples.  More information may change this idea, but so far, MERS fits the bill.  Engineered pestilence, the ultimate weapon of war against a region.

May 2014 – DISEASE – Saudi Arabia reported five more deaths on Wednesday from a mysterious respiratory virus that first appeared there two years ago and has since spread to at least 16 other countries, including the United States. The Saudi Health Ministry said the latest fatalities from infections caused by the virus, known as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS, brought the total in that country to 157. Saudi Arabia accounts for the vast majority of the 171 deaths and 571 infections from the virus globally. The Saudi announcement came as the World Health Organization said in a statement that its concern about MERS “had significantly increased,” but that there was still “no evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission” of the virus. –NY Times

Two more cases in US – Two health workers in the U.S. are now showing signs of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) after exposure to an infected Saudi resident. CBC News Canada reports that the two workers have already been isolated, one is being treated in the hospital while the other is isolated in his home where he is being monitored. These two workers have been isolated because they are showing flu-like symptoms, which is how MERS starts. Florida’s method of response has been to isolate potential MERS patients first and then confirm or refute that they are carrying the virus after. As a result, these two have already been isolated. Additionally, there are 15 other workers at the hospital the Saudi resident visited that came into contact with him. They have been asked to stay home until they are cleared.

These new suspected cases come less than two weeks after the first U.S. case. On May 2, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported the first confirmed U.S. case of MERS.  Public health officials are assuring citizens that there is very low risk to the general public.  Still, the Daily Herald reports that CDC officials are contacting individuals that may be at risk and will respond if others are showing symptoms. MERS is a coronavirus of the same family as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).  The World Health Organization reports that MERS suddenly appeared and started infecting people in September 2012 and may have a higher mortality rate than SARS. However, CBS News reports that SARS infected healthy and unhealthy people at comparable rates, while MERS seems to affect vulnerable people at a drastically higher rate. -CNN

From time to time, I reprint my interview with Dr. Barbara Starfield. Each time I try to write a new introduction.

On July 26, 2000, the Journal of the American Medical Association published Starfield’s review, “Is US health really the best in the world?”

In it, Starfield, who was a respected public health expert working at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, stated that:

The US medical system kills 225,000 Americans a year.

106,000 deaths per year from FDA-approved medical drugs.

119,000 deaths per year from error-ridden treatment in hospitals.

I’m aware that independent research puts those death figures much higher, but I focus on Dr. Starfield’s work because no mainstream reporter or government official could challenge her credentials or the credentials of the journal that published her findings.
And yes, there were stories in the press at the time, in 2000. But the coverage wasn’t aggressive, and it faded out quickly.

And none of the mainstream coverage did the obvious extrapolations. For example, we are talking about 2.25 MILLION deaths per decade. And over a MILLION deaths from medicines the FDA has approved as safe and effective.

Based on my long knowledge of mainstream reporters, I would make these estimates. 70% of them weren’t even aware of the significance of Starfield’s findings. That is, they were oblivious. The human toll didn’t register in their minds.

25% were aware Dr. Starfield had discovered shocking facts, but they didn’t believe the story had “legs.” They assumed it wouldn’t make a big splash.

5% saw how huge the story could become, if it were assigned as an ongoing investigation, like Watergate. But they knew their editors wouldn’t permit that, because among other reasons, their newspapers and television outlets were heavily dependent on pharmaceutical advertising dollars.

So the story died.

Several reporters I contacted came back with this reply: the US government must not be aware of the Starfield report. As if that matters.

But, in fact, the US government is aware. You can search for an FDA page titled, “Why Learn About Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs)?” As of an hour ago, the page is available.
It states: “Over 2 MILLION serious ADRs yearly.” And “100,000 DEATHS yearly.” (The capital letters are the FDA’s, not mine.)

The FDA, of course, is the single federal agency responsible for certifying all medical drugs both safe and effective before they are released for public use. They readily admit the human death and maiming devastation…but take no responsibility for it.

President Obama - “God’s Work” is Killing Babies?

Is it “God’s Work” to kill the unborn? President Obama seemed to say so recently.
Steven Ertelt wrote an article, “Obama Says His Pro-Abortion Supporters are ‘Doing God’s Work,’” for lifenews.com (2/26/14).

Ertelt notes, “At an event in Washington last night, President Barack Obama told his liberal, pro-abortion supporters who are members of his political group Organizing for Action that they are ‘Doing God’s Work.’”

This reminds Ertelt of a time when speaking to Planned Parenthood, Obama “asked God to bless the number one abortion performer in the United States.”

Said Barack Obama, “Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you.”

Really? May God bless the efforts of Planned Parenthood, which is in the business of destroying His creation? Which God? Certainly not the God of the Bible.

I remember years ago on my radio show, I interviewed Dr. Richard Land, then an official of the Southern Baptist denomination. Today he heads the Southern Evangelical Seminary in the greater Charlotte area of North Carolina.

The gist of his comment (which was said when NAFTA and CAFTA were in the news) is that the Lord might allow people of good will to have different opinions when it comes to some questionable political issues. But there are some issues that are very clear in the Bible. One of these is abortion.
Dr. Land said, “I’m not sure if God Almighty necessarily has an opinion on NAFTA or CAFTA [trade agreements involving North and Central America], but I am convinced that Jesus Christ does have an opinion on the sanctity of life issue.”

There certainly are differing nuances in various political issues. We can find well-meaning Christians holding all manner of different positions related to fine points of partisan politics. But the deliberate destruction of the unborn is in a category all by itself.

King David the Psalmist wrote famously, “For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, because I am fearfully and wonder-fully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.”

He adds, “When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, says this in the very opening of his book: “The word of the Lord came to me saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.’ [this is God talking] ‘Before you were born, I set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’”

So, here’s this little unborn baby being appointed a prophet of the nations.
