"Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC’s) Space Systems and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) announce the signing of a new Dream Chaser® program cooperation during the U.S. German Aerospace Roundtable (UGART) at the 31st annual Space Symposium hosted by the Space Foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado."Nothing unusual here other then the usual talk and agreements for international space cooperation, this time between the German government and an American company. Nothing to see hear, move along... right?
Wrong.
The meme occurs in the interesting context of following two paragraphs:
"The cooperation, which was entered into today, builds upon the successful one-year Dream Chaser technical agreement signed in 2013. The new agreement, which extends through 2017, will continue the valuable developmental work completed while identifying new and advanced technologies to pursue in order to further advance the crewed and uncrewed Dream Chaser spacecraft as a flexible low-Earth orbit (LEO) space transportation system for a variety of missions and customers. One of the cooperative activities completed this year was the Dream Chaser for European Utilization (DC4EU) study performed by SNC, OHB Systems AG (OHB) and DLR.Now, recall the original context from Sunday's blog where we first encountered this reference to "space junk," the Russians claimed that they have discovered a group of spy satellites disguised as "space debris" which, they said in an unusual choice of words, had a "state affiliation." As I wrote in Sunday's blog, the choice of words is, if anything, highly unusual. If they were the definite assets of a state, then why not simply say that? "These spy-satellites-cum-space-junk" belong to an unnamed nation." But no, they are "state affiliated." So what's the affiliation? corporate? religious? a political institution or "stateless" political party?
“'We are pleased to continue to work together with SNC as part of their Dream Chaser team,' said Prof. Jan Woerner, chairman of the executive board of DLR. 'We recognize the significant value of the Dream Chaser, especially for LEO and we look forward to working together for new applications. The Space Weaponization Scrapbook: Boeing's Force Field Patent

Two days ago I blogged about the continued coverage of the asteroid threat meme, the plans to construct a Hyper Velocity Asteroid Impact Vehicle, and the increasing evidence that the affidavit of Dr. Carol Rosin - the von Braun-Rosian affidavit - is being corroborated. In that blog I pointed out that Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev, shortly before the Chelyabinsk meteor incident, had called for the construction of an asteroid defense system, one utilizing thermonuclear weapons and "other" systems, which was left unqualified.
We may, however, have some indicator of what some of those "other" systems may be, in this article,and patent shared by Mr. A.O.(and many others):

You'll note that this patent is fairly recent, dated to last month of this year. And its appearance publicly is itself significant, for most nations, including the United States, have national security provisions for patents: those which are deemed significant to impact the national security of whatever state in which a patent is taken out, seldom appear publicly until the technology has been secretly perfected.
As the patent and article indicate, the method is to attenuate or weaken the shockwaves of impacts, not to deflect or disintegrate actual debris itself, a kind of "bug zapper" scaled up to enormous proportions. And that's the point: scale the method up, and one might have a means of deflecting, or at least mitigating, the effects of large impacts, from bombs, or - to let the imagination really run wild - asteroids.
And with that last high octane speculative possibility, we're chin to chin with Mr. Medvedev's "other" methods of asteroid defense possibilities. Significant too, I suspect, is the timing of Boeing's patent within the same time frame as the announcement of studies for the possibility of a hyper-velocity asteroid impact vehicle, and the announcement also of the ongoing plans to standardize procedures (and presumably equipment) in the NASA-Roscosmos American-Russian space cooperation.
Interesting too is the fact that such fields were being talked about since the days of Nikola Tesla, and intriguingly, there is documentation from World War Two - a document that American intelligence officers rated as "fantasy" at the time - of German prisoners recounting stories of such fields disintegrating one or two Allied bombers during tests under operational conditions. Fantasy? At that time, very probably. But the idea is there, and now, a patent is there.
And with enough covert money invested over a prolonged period of time, we are probably looking at the public face of much deeper, fantastic, capabilities.

Boeing patents 'Star Wars'-style force fields
If they are telling us about this, what do they possess that we aren't being told about?
Aircraft and military manufacturer Boeing has been granted a patent on a system that is designed to prevent explosion shockwaves from harming a target.
A new patent granted to aircraft, defense and security company Boeing is taking its cues from science fiction. Just like the glowing energy shields seen protecting troops, machines and even spacecraft in Star Wars and Star Trek, the design -- named "Method and system for shockwave attenuation via electromagnetic arc" -- uses energy to deflect potential damage.
As it is described, the system is not designed to prevent direct impact from shells or shrapnel; rather, it is designed to protect a target -- such as a vehicle or building -- from the damaging effects of shockwaves from a nearby impact.
The patent is for a shockwave attenuation system, which consists of a sensor capable of detecting a shockwave-generating explosion and an arc generator that receives the signal from the sensor to ionise a small region, producing a plasma field between the target and the explosion using lasers, electricity and microwaves.
This small plasma field would differ from the surrounding environment in temperature, density and/or composition. This would provide a buffer between the target and the explosion that would hinder the shockwaves from reaching and damaging the target.
"Such embodiments as described above may reduce the energy density of the shockwave by creating a second medium in the path of the advancing shockwave that reflects, refracts, absorbs and deflects at least a portion of the shockwave," the patent reads.

Understanding the Lunar Wave - The Moon Is An Illusion
I strongly support the honesty and video work of Crrow, as he has consistently avoided being sensationalist in his discoveries. This is his theory regarding some of the things he has caught on camera. I don't agree with the extended title that says "No One Goes Beyond Low-Earth Orbit". I believe he has instead caught evidence of a "Breakaway Civilization", that is advanced technology that a small group of humanity controls at this time, and technology that will likely be used to support a great deception (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) that is to come in the near future. That being said, Crrow's view is interesting, and the facts do point out clearly something is wrong with what we have been taught scientifically. So dive in and see what you think...

When The World Is Told We Are Not Alone – Whose Explanation About “Them” Will You Believe?
There is no doubt about it, as we move through 2015 and beyond the human race inches closer and closer to the realization that we are not alone in the universe, and never have been. Major organizations have started preparing how to break the news to the world; whether it be microbial life or intelligent extraterrestrial life, the planning has begun.
NASA for example, recently gathered scientists, philosophers, and theologians from around the world to discuss how the announcement would be made. Multiple congressional hearings have already taken place on the subject and many people who work in the “industry” are starting to voice their excitement. Mike Gold is one of them, for example. He is the Director of Operations for Bigelow Aerospace . In the United States alone, at least half of all Americans say that we’re not alone in the universe. Fifty percent of Americans already believe that there is some form of life on other planets, while only seventeen percent think that there isn’t. A quarter of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrial visitors have already come to Earth and have been doing so for a long time. Adding more fuel to the flame is the fact that we have hundreds of high ranking military and government personnel, academicians, and more testifying to the fact that we are not alone, and that governments have known for decades. Bottom line, the evidence is there.

To be honest, I find this story so disturbing that I don't quite know how to blog about it. I came upon this version of it at the Russian "GlobalResearch" website:

But there's something else, and I'm sure the reader caught it, and that is the first statement which I boldfaced and italicized, namely, that one Mr. Lopatin visited the USA in 1999 in his capacity as "a chairman of the Military Reofmr Subcommittee of the USSR Supreme Soviet Committee for Issues of Defense and State Security."
Say what? 1999?!? Supreme Soviet Committee for Issues of Defense and State Security of the USSR, the good ole Sovietsky Soyuz Socialistichestkik Respublik? But wait a minute... Wasn't that formally disbanded? Didn't it collapse in 1991? What happened? Did someone forget to put in an order for new official stationary? Or...?

At that time he was described as the “leader of a new breed of Soviet dissidents”. Then he disappeared from top ranks of Russian politicians.Now, the obvious implication of the second italicized statement is that the decision was taken in Russia, following American refusals to discuss or negotiate on the subject of electromagnetic and mind control weapons, to integrate such weapons capabilities within the Russian arsenal. For the followers of this story, this is not really news. I have written about such capabilities with respect to ancient architecture and engineering - summarizing the work of German engineer Dr. Konstantin Meyl - in my book Babylon's Banksters. And former Lt. Col. (U.S. Army, Ret.) Tom Bearden has been documenting and warning of the dangers of these types of weapons since the 1970s. The Black Knight Satellite
As I mentioned last week, I'm not convinced that the dark satellite photos aren't actually pics of Stealth aircraft that have the capability of entering the upper atmosphere and possibly even space. That would certainly explain the advanced oxygen systems that are so important for the craft. The video does give a nice summary of the idea "someone else" (a breakaway civilization, Nazi scientists?) has put this satellite up well before Sputnik. As always, you decide...

The satellite was in a polar orbit. It was further revealed that this could not have been the work of either Russia or the USA as they could not achieve polar orbit at the time. The USA named the satellite the Black Knight. A special committee was formed to gather information on the mysterious satellite.. An article was put into time magazine about it.
The satellite was photographed on 3rd September 1960 Long Island and Some seven months after it first appeared on radar image. On 1963 it was seen by an astronaut going into space.
On december 1998 The space craft endeavour was making a journey to the Space Station it recorded several images that many people think to be the Black Knight.

Many believed the "Black Knight" polar orbiting satellite to have been an invention of the transplanted Nazis in South America after WWII. Others like to take the alien claim. I have to admit, when many of you sent me this story, I was intrigued, because the whole subject of the Black Knight satellite is one of those stories that does not get much attention, but whose significance, if true, is baffling indeed. For those who don't know this bit of contemporary mythology, a brief "bring-me-up-to-speed" might be in order.
During the 1950s, as the space race between the USSR and USA was heating up, a mythology began to appear: there was, it was alleged, an object - some versions of the story put it at an approximate weight of fifteen tons, well beyond the publicly known launch capabilities either of the Soviet Union or the United States - was in polar orbit around planet Earth. This object was clearly artificial, and moreover, there were two problems: (1) fifteen tons well exceeded the launch capabilities of either the USSR(which at that time clearly led the USA in public and visible space technologies), and (2) the object was in a polar orbit, which exceeded the technological capabilities of either nation to achieve. Indeed, at its first discovery, the object exceeded the launch capabilities of either nation to put into any kind of orbit, much less a polar one. This, of course, presented a conundrum, for if the story was true, then this left but two real possibilities: someone else from or on Earth had launched it (leaving the questions of who, when, and how hovering disturbingly over the story), or the object was not from Earth at all. Either way, one had a "hidden player" on the space scene. Dubbed "The Black Knight" satellite, the story became part of the fringe lore of the space age, informing to some extent the science fiction work of well-known and engaging sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. Then the story more or less faded, kept alive on the edges of the science fiction and space-age "alternative research" communities, but by and large forgotten even to many of them.
Until now, when, curiously, the story has made something of a come-back, prompting once again the question "why now"?

"In 1899, Nikola Tesla picked up unusual signals from an unknown source on his high-voltage receiver in Colorado Springs which he speculated were “intelligently controlled signals” that originated “from another world.” Astronomers have reported picking up similar radio signals since the 1930s and Dr. Lincoln La Paz of the University of New Mexico sighted the possible source in Earth orbit in1953. The U.S. Department of Defense commissioned astronomer Clyde Tombaugh to look for it. A famous article about the Black Knight was published in both the St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner on May 14th 1954. At that time, there were no man-made objects in Earth orbit … that we know of.
"That changed in 1957 when the USSR launched Sputnik 1. It was reported that an object believed to be the Black Knight Satellite was “shadowing” Sputnik 1. When Sputnik 2 was launched a month later, Dr. Luis Corralos of the Communications Ministry in Venezuela photographed it again shadowing the satellite. In 1960, a Grumman Aircraft Corporation tracking camera took a picture of it but the company kept its findings secret. In 1963, U.S. astronaut Gordon Cooper reported seeing a UFO like the Black Knight in front of his capsule. A photo taken during a space shuttle mission in 1998 (seen in the videos) shows an object many believe is the Black Knight and a 2014 video feed from the ISS shows a similar object."And there's more curiosity about the object, including its strange association to sci-fi author Philip K. It was said to be a redish-pink glowing object moving in an east-to-west orbit, which is, apparently, the opposite of most other man-made satellites, and which doesn’t fit the polar orbit reported by Time. Subsequent to this, astronaut Gordon Cooper Jr. allegedly caught a first-hand glimpse of the object during his 22-orbit Mercury-Atlas 9 flight, which was the final of the Mercury Program missions. Cooper claimed that it was an object much larger than any other man-made satellite of the time, and that it glowed a neon green.
"Cooper, who passed away in 2004, had long been sympathetic to the UFOlogy movement and had been vocal about not only the reality of extraterrestrial life, but also the idea that the US government had been and continues to be complicit in a cover-up of contact with such.
"Then in 1998, during NASA mission STS-88 to the ISS, flown by the Space Shuttle Endeavour, images were captured of an unidentified object in orbit; an object that a great many people believe is the ever elusive Black Knight satellite.

According to Keel, one such HAM operator received and decoded a signal and claimed that the message corresponded to a star chart, plotted from Earth 13,000 years ago, and focused on a star system called Epsilon Boötis…and this is where things get really interesting."What is to be noted here is that both Venezuelan and American scientists (and one can only presume, the Russians as well), took photographs of the satellite, which are to this day been kept secret, or at least, never surfaced.

Elon Musk, And the Race to Control the Race for Mars (And Insure It)…

Mr. Musk clearly wants to be on Mars, permanently, and soon. But I hope you caught something that caught my eye when I read this article, and weren't distracted by diagrams of big rocket boosters, stories of reusable boosters, building and testing craft for the journey to Mars, and so on. What really caught my eye was one rather short little statement:
But there is, in my high octane speculative opinion, and even more intriguing implication in the above statement, and that is the fact that Fidelity is a major stakeholder in Musk's space enterprises. Fidelity is, of course, one of America's and the world's largest investment firms; mutual funds, financial management, retirement investments, and so on, are its stock in trade.
But so is something else: insurance, which is to say, risk reduction. This is a clear sign, in other words, that we are looking at the commercialization of space right now, for real, and in addition to this, we're looking at the standard Veneto-Western model of investment and risk management at work: the bankrollers and insurers get together to fund a risky project: the funding of a few galleys to go trade for some spices in the risky waters of the eastern Mediterranean, for a stake in the profits of what's brought back, but should the whole thing run afoul of solar storms or intergalactic Saracens, there's always the insurance to fall back on...
And that too, raises its own problematic implications. Insurance companies have to be large enough to insure such a venture. A one trillion dollar policy, in case something goes wrong, implies a financial system with hidden financial resources far beyond what has been publicly disclosed (and that brings us right back to one of my favorite hypotheses, namely, that such a system has secretly been in place at least since 1947, if not shortly before). And underwriting policies for something this risky implies yet something else: actuarial tables. How would one go about compiling the actuarial tables for such a venture. Large and powerful insurance firms like Lloyds or Fidelity obvious have the wherewithal to hire the mathematicians to compile and model such things, but ultimately, actuarial tables are compiled from a long history of actual results and tested against them.
So the question becomes, where did that putative historical database come from...? And with that, we're back at Google, and the NSA... It does make one wonder....

Things That Make You Go “Hmmm...": Space Bilderbergers
What stands out here is that clearly there must be current ongoing space flights/missions taking place, or none of these meetings or litigious battling over control of places like the moon would never take place. In other words, the "breakaway civilization" is alive and well, and getting closer to making themselves known to the public at large.

Now, in case you haven't noticed, we've been on something of a space focus this week, because the news is bizarre from almost anyone's lights. First Medvedev's little "nudge" for "disclosure," a strange NASA space station mission poster featuring Jedi knights, light sabers, Death Stars, and Mars, then a power plant blowing up in Michigan apparently after a beam of light was seen, John Podesta's ruminations that he wished he had been able to make a full UFO-ET disclosure, which was stated shortly before he joined Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign staff. And let's not forget all the stories about space commercialization we've seen from last year, including this year's attempt by the FAA to regulate commercial traffic on... the Moon. Now, unless you're an American couch potato, conservative talk show host, liberal television anchor (or politician, or product of an American "department of education"), it isn't possible to conclude that something is not going on.
But now here's yet another example of high strangeness regarding the high beyond, from Ms. B.H., and it's a strange stunner, but you have to wade all the way through the article to find out why:

So we have a private, invitation-only, conference in Washington, with a variety of interesting foundation and corporate sponsors, among whom is AIAA. If this is beginning to sound a bit like a Bilderberger meeting for space affairs, hang on, it gets better. When one clicks on the second link, the conference's website clearly shows a focus on the Earth, the Moon, and Mars (shades of that strange NASA "Jedi" poster we talked about a couple of days ago). More interesting to me personally is that the "look" of the website, its "feel", was oddly reminiscent of the website for the Secret Space Program conference at which I spoke in June of last year. Now, among all the corporate and foundation a,d professional group sponsors here - and all of them intriguing - the one that caught my eye more than all the others was AIAA. Why?
Because AIAA, if you've been following it, has done held some rather remarkable conferences of its own. Years ago, papers were presented at the AIAA about German physicist Burkardht Heim's hyper-dimensional theories, theories that Heim himself, by his own admission,developed as a basis to further human space exploration, recognizing that the Von Braun-Oberth-NASA-Korolev-Roscosmos approach with large chemical rockets was doomed to inadequacy at the outset. (Heim's theory, interestingly enough, comes with all the Star Trek gimicks, including sub-spaces and hyper-spaces). To make matters more murky, as I've pointed out in various books (especially The Philosophers' Stone: Alchemy and the Secret Research for Exotic Matter), Heim was totally blind, almost completely deaf, and had lost both hands during an explosion during World War Two doing "research" for the Nazis, the nature of which remains shrouded in obscurity (or classification), to this day.
In addition to sponsoring talks about Heim's theories, the AIAA has also sponsored presentations from NASA's Dr. Harold "Sonny" White. He, you'll recall, is the physicist who reworked the metric of Mexican physicist Miguel Alcubierre, to conclude that space-warps were within the feasibility of human energy sources to create, and he, you'll also recall, heads up a project within NASA to do the proof of concept experiments to determine if "warp drive" is feasible. Apparently (you'll further recall), it's feasible enough for DARPA(the Diabolically Apocalyptic Research Projects Agency - thank you Mr. J.B. for that clever rendering!) to propose the goal of having the USA be "warp capable" in 100 years.
Add into the mix all the space commercialization news of the past year, toss in a pinch of Elon Musk, add some Richard Branson sauce, stir and mix with Bigelow bits, and what do you have?
You have a financial and technocratic oligarchy that knows that big changes are coming, probably sooner rather than later, And that means this conference could be - and in my high octane speculation, probably is - the beginning of a new phenomenon, the "space Bilderbergers." It's a sign, perhaps, that the financial and technocratic elites know that the technologies are just around the corner (or perhaps, already here), and that the biggest problem is how to manage the sweeping social, cultural, and financial changes these will impel. Even if the technologies are, per DARPA's vision, a century away, the planning must begin now, if for no other reason than that the financial system - both overt and covert - will be dramatically affected.

Light beam seen during Michigan power plant explosion
I missed this a couple days back but it's too strange to pass up. Just what happened does not seem clear, but it resembles some bizarre plant explosions from our recent past as seen in vids below. Whatever happened was quite strange, and has some of the signature of a space based weapons test....

Many Escanaba residents awoke Monday to find themselves without power after an explosion at a nearby utility plant substation
Around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 2, an explosion at an Escanaba Power Plant substation caused widespread power outages across the city, according to the Escanaba City Electric Department.
With the failure of the substation's main transformer, officials noted the repairs are expected to require a significant amount of labor to fix .
As crews work to repair the damaged electrical equipment, city staff are warning residents to expect rolling blackouts the next few days. Residents are advised to keep their heat at elevated levels, but to conserve energy elsewhere whenever possible.
The Escanaba School District was forced to close today as well, due to a lack of power.
Those affected by the outage are invited to seek shelter at the Escanaba Civic Center, or to visit warming centers at Gladstone's Grace Baptist Church or the nearby Walmart.
At the moment, city crews are working to restore power along the north and south alleys of Ludington Street, as well on the south side of Escanaba. Areas along First Avenue South to Third Avenue North could see a return of power in the next few hours, officials stated.

The Escanaba School District was forced to close today as well, due to a lack of power.
Those affected by the outage are invited to seek shelter at the Escanaba Civic Center, or to visit warming centers at Gladstone's Grace Baptist Church or the nearby Walmart.
At the moment, city crews are working to restore power along the north and south alleys of Ludington Street, as well on the south side of Escanaba. Areas along First Avenue South to Third Avenue North could see a return of power in the next few hours, officials stated.

9 Lunar Waves (Hologram?) Filmed
This is fascinating stuff...it would appear to be direct evidence of the technology being exercised by a "breakaway civilization"....
This clip includes the 9 lunar or moon waves (hologram?) filmed to date. Four are from other videographers and five from me. There is no longer any debate as to the reality of the lunar wave as an actual real event that has been taking place on our moon for some time.

Cold Fusion Slowly Creeping Into the Mainstream...and Business

Cold fusion is again in the news, well, at least for Wired magazine, which has done an interesting article on the topic. But this article, if read carefully, is raising another prospect altogether, beyond the debates about the science of LENRs(Low Energy Nuclear Reactions) or LANRs(Lattice Assisted Nuclear Reactions, which is my favorite term for the theories that have emerged to explain it). There are still some within the scientific community that have justifiable difficulties, not so much with the concepts, but with the hit-and-miss nature of the devices built to achieve it. The devices sometimes perform, sometimes do not, and until this problem is resolved, they remain skeptical.
But there’s another aspect to the story that Wired has picked up on: many of the more successful devices, Rossi’s for example, now have the veil of corporate proprietary secrecy drawn over them:

Note also the new interest of DARPA in the concept. This, more than anything else I’ve seen, constitutes the nihil obstat and imprimatur that means cold fusion has moved out of the realm of “totally fringe” and into the realm of “it’s good enough for black projects”. And frankly, if DARPA is announcing it now, that probably means this move was undertaken perhaps as soon as Pons and Fleischmann made their now historic announcement.
But finally, there is one other significant thing that the article notes, indicating what yet another hold-up may be: regulation. How does any government regulate a technology and industry that is not yet even fully understood?
The bottom line? Wired is correct: the concept of cold fusion is no longer the fringe area it once was. It’s slowly becoming more and more mainstream. But there are still hurdles, so don’t except to be powering your domestic power or cars with them any time soon.
So let’s speculate: suppose somewhere, in some laboratory in China, Japan, or Korea, that the phenomenon has been fully cracked and understood, and technologies such as Rossi’s e-cat have been developed, and that they too, are “fully understood.” What’s the hold up? The hold-up, again, is suggested by that paragraph concerning regulation, but regulation is merely the clever meme being advanced for public discussion. A worldwide introduction of cold fusion, at this stage, during a global financial instablity, could and probably would be disastrous and disruptive. So what the article is really suggesting, if we read carefully between the lines, is “this is coming, like it or not. How do we transition to a new era and technical culture of a very different understanding of energy, and tailor our financial institutions accordingly?” As I’ve been arguing elsewhere on this site, this will require some new thinking from technocrats and financial elites, on the implications and integrations of emerging technologies for the international financial system. We’ll know the game has become very serious if we see these investment companies suddenly being bought out by the big energy companies, and if, suddenly, there is no more talk of it, or conversely, they announce the construction of large scale manufacturing facilities to produce the technologies.

“In December, Cyclone Power Technologies, a US company known for its highly innovative Cyclone Engine, announced that Dr Yeong Kim would be joining their consulting team. Dr Kim is a professor at Purdue University and a leading researcher in LENR. In a press statement Dr Kim said that his new role with Cyclone was an opportunity for research to understand and harness cold fusion.”And this:
“Meanwhile Brillouin, one of the lead contenders for commercialising LENR technology, announced in December that they had signed a licence agreement with an un-named South Korean company after a year of due diligence. The deal, described as being worth ‘millions of dollars’ in Pure Energy Systems News, licenses the Koreans to manufacture cold fusion units, with production and installation in 2014.”And finally, as the article indicates, Dr. Rossi’s hidden backer is now suspected to be Cherokee Investment Partnership. In this context, the article informs us of what may be one of the new factors in play:
The plan is to use reactors powered by Brillouin’s cold fusion technology to replace existing boilers in a conventional power station. Bob George, CEO of Brillouin, says they should produce electricity at two cents per kilowatt-hour — about a third of the cost of electricity from advanced gas power generation, the cheapest current option. Once the units are proven, George expects many other customers to be interested in similar retrofitting.
There has also been a small but potentially significant shift by US officialdom. Steven Krivit of New Energy Times noted a change in the small print of a document issued by the US Department of Energy. The DoE provides funding for innovative energy projects via their Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E). The latest funding opportunity announcement included a new addition in the list of technologies which the DoE is interested in: alongside solar, photochemical reactors and radioisotope thermoelectrics and many more, Low Energy Nuclear Reactions made the cut.
“A partnership with Cherokee would be in line with Rossi’s claims about the size of his backer and the project. He says there are sixteen people working with him on R&D, consistent with a modest investment from a company like Cherokee rather than full-on involvement from the likes of General Electric (or even Google) as others have optimistically suggested. Rossi has recently said that a domestic E-Cat reactor is as far away as ever due to safety and certification issues, and his latest posts suggests that some care is needed with the industrial reactors. If the E-Cat does gain acceptance, the regulatory bodies will become more interested in the issues posed by licensing nuclear reactors based on principles which are not well understood.”So there you have it: there are already significant corporate investors not only in research into the concepts of cold fusion (LENRs and LANRs), there are plans and indicators of plans from Asia – Korea and China, but let us not forget that Japan has been a heavy investor in cold fusion research through MITI – that actually plan to bring practical technologies to production! While I have my deep suspicions these 2014 deadlines will not be met, it is nonetheless a significant step. But why not meet them? Simple: for devices based on the concept to be marketable, they must work consistently, and that has been the problem with cold fusion all along, sometimes they do, sometimes they do not. Dr. Rossi’s e-cat remains the most consistent device in its performance, to my knowledge, to date.

3D Printing and Space Exploration

Already we’ve seen the application of 3-D printing to space exploration, when recently NASA allegedly scanned a Martian rock and printed it back on Earth to have a closer look. Now, if you’re like me, you probably don’t for a minute believe NASA went to all that trouble over a mere rock, but probably wanted to look at something entirely different, something that may have appeared suspiciously “artificial” perhaps.
But now yet another possibility is emerging. Suppose one found evidence on Mars(or any other nearby body for that matter) of microbial life, and had the ability to sequence that microbial life-form’s genome. This could then be beamed back to Earth, and with the requisite technology, 3-D printed here for study. If that sounds fanciful and ridiculous, read on:

In other words, forget about sending probes to Mars, scooping something up in the soil, and returning the probe, and the sample, back to Earth. Just “scan” and press “print.” As the article notes, the possibility even has one scientist suggesting its past use:

It’s a whopper of a statement to make, and full of enormous implications, illustrating again how hugely the “worm has turned” in recent years, as more and more in the mainstream are voicing opinions that only a few years ago were only voiced in the alternative community.
The article goes on to note that the same Steltzner also proposes another idea:
“One idea floated by Steltzner is that we beam the human genome into the universe through radio waves—like we’re already doing to try to communicate with intelligent life—and see if anyone receives the transmission and can figure out how to interpret it.”Before the Diabolically Apocalyptic Research Agency jumps on that bandwagon, however, it might want to consider the possibility that this may not be such a great idea, for if there is any ET out there advanced enough to get from “there” to “here,” and if that ET should be hostile, giving him or her or it a copy of our genome is probably a very bad idea, for he or she or it could conceivably come up with some very nasty bio-weapons.
But if you’re thinking all this is still impossible, consider the following sobering words from the article:

Being able to store and transmit genetic code the same as any other kind of data is the principle behind the “life printing” gadget being developed by biologist Craig Venter, the US biologist that’s famous for helping map the human genome and creating the first synthetic life.“Venter is developing a “digital biological converter” device that can transport a digital DNA file, at the speed of light, and recreate the original lifeform in the new location from that data. He calls it biological teleportation, but it’s more like a cosmic fax.“Venter believes the process could be used to “print” alien life, if there is any, here on Earth. If, say, the Mars rover discovers microbes on the planet, it could beam back digital copies of the genomes to sequence here on Earth. There’s a prototype already, which unsurprisingly has attracted the support of NASA and DARPA.“So if we believe it’s possible to print a Martian organism on Earth, could it work the other way around? At this point, Venter’s experiment is only tackling life-printing at the individual gene level, but single-celled organisms like bacteria are next in line. “More complex creatures,” the New York Times reported, “earthly or Martian, will probably never be possible.””
Thank goodness for The New York TImes, huh? People once said man could never travel faster than 30mph, because the sheer speed could be a health hazard to our human bodies. Impossible? probably not. Computers, aircraft, automobiles, submarines were all once impossible too. Venter’s life-printing gadget is but a Model T, a biplane held up and together by canvas and bailing wire.

Who Shot Down Russian Proton-M Rocket Advanced Satellite?
Paul Begley starts us off by giving some background and asking the pertinent questions. But I might add at this point that we are looking at a "shooting war", but this one is using high-tech, space-based weapons.
This video by Thornews shows the shootdown video of the rocket, with a small, fast, incoming object being tracked directly into the Russian rocket just before it gives out. It looks like a rail gun, which can fire solid objects (like a block of steel) from a thousand miles away at an incredibly high rate of speed to a moving target. Two advantages to the rail gun are that 1) they move so fast they are invisible to the ground and 2) because they have such speed and mass behind them, they need no explosive ordinance to give away their presence. The simple impact of a dense, high-speed object with a sensitive rocket would leave plenty of room for the guilty party to deny doing anything.
We should ask though, are we watching the first shots fired in World War Three?

A small white orb approaches the rocket that was launched 3 minutes after the Proton-M rocket lifted off in Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The Orb then accelerates goes through the engine and then comes out the other side. The Rocket carrying the Communications sattellite then fails and dives down and explodes.
I'm going to pray that it was Aliens and not us the USA because the LAST thing we need in this getting hotter cold war is it to get worse. No one prospers from World War III Nuclear war or the War of Technology.
