As the beast system rises day by day, so does the tyranny. Everywhere you look it seems that the spirit of antichrist is growing and evermore pervasive. I live in an area of the country considered to be free and full of bible-believing, God-fearing people. A state where we puff out our chest and say “God bless America” and “God bless Texas.” Sadly, most have no idea how far we are beyond “God bless America.” God’s judgement is coming upon this land faster than people can comprehend. The worst drought in decades is upon us, causing sharp spikes in future food prices; the world economy is on the verge of total collapse; earthquakes and volcanos are increasing at an alarming rate; and the world is closer than ever to thermonuclear World War III. Shame on those folks who call themselves Christian, but cannot discern the times in which we live! Shame on those folks who call themselves Christian, but hold on desperately to the notion that we can “fix” a spiritual problem with a political solution! Shame on them for turning their backs on Jesus and refusing to watch for him as we were commanded!
The result of a people in love with the world instead of a fearful love for God, is a corrupt, ignorant, and wicked society that is full of pride and arrogance. The spiritual blindness of the people is so great, that most embrace the tyrannical laws and expanding loss of freedom we see unfolding daily.
In fact, there are many who love the power given to them by our illegitimate, fascist government. They sit smuggley on boards and committees, disconnected from reality and the will of God. They swagger through our hallways, clipboard in hand, loving their authority over the commoners. All are out of touch with the will of God, and cannot begin to comprehend their decision to serve Satan.
I am reminded by God’s word that although we face persecution from the wicked, we are to pray for them and not repay them with evil. But I am also reminded that we must resist evil, and after putting on the full armor of God, STAND.
That, my brothers an sisters, is what we must do as followers of Christ in this late hour! A call to repentance as a nation is impossible now; however, a call to repentance as an individual is the answer to the impending doom that faces us all. Jesus Christ is our only hope. He’s our only “out” from this fallen world. He came as a lamb to the slaughter to show us the way, and he will come again as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to put down all of the wicked! Praise him continually and seek him constantly for his protection and guidance. Stand up to the workers of iniquity and FEAR NOT, for he is with us. If we abide in him, we are covered by the power of his blood. Be blessed in Jesus’ name! MARANATHA!
