Jupiter Filmed Turning Blue - Again

Jupiter has been stunningly bright in the night sky in the last year, so bright that it has caused no small number of calls to police departments of something unidentified in the night sky.  To the ancients, Jupiter was the planet that symbolized a change of kings or the coming of a great king.  Make of this what you will...

Jupiter was first filmed turning blue in Jan. of 2014. I have again filmed this effect in Jan 2015. None of the equipment used in the first capture was used in the second capture making this a very interesting anomaly. Wicked 'Supernatural' Gift Among 2014's Christmas Sell-Out Items

When I worked in retail stores with these, I used to pull them off the floor and hide them.  I had no shortage of arguments with my secular co-workers over this, but my logic was simple, why would I sell someone (usually a kid) a "game" that taught them to contact demons?  And as a Christian, how was I to answer for that one day?  Unfortunately, the boards are back and doing their villainous work at a record pace.  And what do you think will be the result?

When my friend told me that ouija boards were going to be this Christmas' sell-out item my initial reaction was that this was another "urban myth" best treated with a healthy dose of skepticism. Who, in an age of the Internet, online gaming, Facebook and 3-D televisions would want to move a pointer around on a board in the hope of getting messages from the spirit world? The astonishing answer is, quite a lot of people!

 

The story turns out to be true. Promoted by an apparently truly dreadful film (sponsored by Hasbro, the toy firm that holds the rights to ouija boards), sales of the £20+ boards have gone through the roof. And it's not just me who is mystified. As Simon Osborne wrote in the Independent, "What better time to talk to dead people for fun than the festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus?"

 

Three observations. First, this is yet another phenomenon reminding us that, for all the bold claims of the new atheism that the world is moving into an age of rational thought in which every form of the supernatural is rejected, the reality "on the ground" is very different. The hunger for the supernatural, the paranormal and the mystical remains intense and almost universal. Indeed, it seems as if the more a "universe without God" is talked up, the more people flock to the supernatural. If atheism is true, then it's very odd that no one seems to follow it.

 

Second, a ouija board is not, in any way, a game. Let's be honest. To use it is to seek to contact spirits, whether of the dead or of any other sort. Here it is worth stating that the Bible is clear that there is a spiritual world beyond our physical senses; it contains both good and evil forces and we are not to seek to communicate with either for news of the future or for any other purpose. Good spirits are off limits because we are commanded to pray to the God whom they serve, and bad spirits are forbidden because they always seek to deceive and harm us. 

 

Some relevant Bible verses include Leviticus 19:31 ("Do not turn to spirits through mediums or necromancers. Do not seek after them to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.")

and Deuteronomy 18:10-12 ("There must not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who uses divination, or uses witchcraft, or an interpreter of omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts spells, or a spiritualist, or an occultist, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God will drive them out from before you."). It's not just the Bible that is negative either. Every minister I have ever talked to on the subject has been able to tell me of people they know personally whose lives have been very negatively affected by using (I refuse to use playing with) a ouija board.

It is my view, and it is shared not just by other Christians but by many other people, that evil spiritual forces do exist. To use a ouija board or anything similar is rather like sneaking into a zoo and unlocking cages at random. You may get far more than you bargained for. Ouija boards are potentially dangerous things.
 

Thirdly, there are only two interpretations of what goes on when people use a ouija board. The first is that any movement of the pointer is purely a subconscious psychological effect of those involved and the whole exercise is worthless. (Interestingly enough, one of the first people to demonstrate that this kind of claimed 'supernatural' motion had a purely human origin was the 19th-century scientist and devout Christian, Michael Faraday.) In that case, the purchase of any ouija board is a complete and total waste of money.

 

The second interpretation is that use of a ouija board can result in contact being made with harmful forces or individuals "out there," in which case its possession or use is appallingly dangerous. In either case, they are to be avoided. The word ouija is often claimed to originate from a merger of the French and German words for "yes"; everybody would be far wiser simply to say "no." 

What if you have one of these boards? I'd take a tip from Acts 19:19, which says, "Many who practiced magic brought their books together and burned them before everyone." If you have a ouija board, then I think only serious question you face is this: Where am I going to burn it?

Severinus' Heroic Evangelism in Austria

What a remarkable man Severinus must have been. He so impressed the Huns that they stopped their march when he stood in their way. On another occasion, violent, ruthless Odoacer sought the saint out to ask his blessing.

Severinus is one of the patron saints of Austria. Yet he was not Austrian: he was born in North Africa. Hungry for God, he gave away his wealth and became a hermit. But conscience would not let him live a life of seclusion. People needed the Gospel.

And so one day, after the death of Attila the Hun, he appeared in Noricum (near Vienna). With the death of their leader, the barbarians had broken into lawless bands who inflicted much misery on middle Europe. Despite this desperate situation, Severinus sought to turn men to Christ. By and large, his message was rejected. However, he put backbone into the demoralized Christian community and they founded monasteries along the Danube.

Through self-discipline, prophecy and useful service, Severinus slowly won the respect of local Christians and of their barbarian enemies. His austerity was notable. Summer and winter he walked barefoot, even when ice frosted the Danube. He refused to own a second tunic. At sunset he ate his one meal of the day. During the weeks of Lent, he cut back even more, to one meal a week. His tight reign on his appetites amazed the heathen hordes who lacked such self-control.

Severinus prophesied that Vienna would be captured. Trusting their walls and martial ardor, the Viennese scoffed. Nonetheless, Vienna was taken. Severinus set about providing relief for the starving city. He coaxed a rich widow to release her hoard of food. He called the people to repentance. When they listened, the ice on the Danube broke and ships were able to bring in supplies. He heartened the city to strengthen its defenses and negotiated with the barbarians so that they turned away from their evil behavior.

Even after the force of the invasion had diminished, Severinus continued his relief efforts, which were now directed at redeeming captives, providing poor relief and building churches.

Severinus stayed simple. He refused to become bishop, preferring the lifestyle of a hermit. Suffering from pleurisy, he died on this day, January 8, 482. It was remarked that on his deathbed, he sang the words of a psalm, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."

The French Connection – False Flags and the Charlie Hebdo Incident

Patterns of Puppetry

A new year brings resolutions, and for the establishment, the resolutions are quite clear: more of the same!  More false flags, more media circus and staged news, ad infinitum, ad nauseam.  In the 1971 film The French Connection, New York detective “Popeye” Doyle (Gene Hackman) uncovers an underworld drug smuggling operation involving the importation of millions of dollars in heroin by a French cartel that planned to use a media personality as an unwitting front.

Today, we all awoke to news the Onion-like French satire publication Charlie Hebdo had been attacked by terrorists, with Al Qaeda taking responsibility.  While it is tempting to get bogged down in “fluid” situation details, we must always recall similar patterns of such events in the recent past which will serve to inform the greater context of this new event in the never-ending “war on terror.”
Naturally, the first operation that comes to mind is Gladio, the infamous NATO “stay behind” operations in Europe during the Cold War that utilized terror attacks and shootings in public venues (amongst other things) to later be blamed on leftist and socialist groups.  Gladio thus represents the so-called “conservative” side of the dialectic running operations against the so-called left.  The Aldo Moro incident in Italy, for example, involved a staged assassination of a socialist minister by a NATO-run Marxist front.  NATO/Gladio operations have never ceased, as we see the same patterns at work in more recent false flags.

French intelligence works hand in hand with NATO and other western intelligence agencies, and have been involved in the training of the radical Islamic offshoots of Al Qaeda in attempts to topple Assad, for example.  The “Free Syrian Army” has notoriously been armed and funded by Atlanticist power elites since 2012, when the CFR called for more use of Al Qaeda and the FSA, to 2013, when we saw Senator John McCain and others meeting with rebranded Al Qaeda leaders.  As we look back on events associated with French and Euro terror, the images converge.

In 1995, Rachid Ramda, a member of radical Islamic organizations predictably titled “Islamic Salvation Front” and the “Armed Islamic Goup”, bombed the French RER subway, killing eight.  According to an interview with Liberacion.fr, Ramda described his past involvement with western NGOs and Doctors Without Borders – both classic intelligence covers, casting doubt on the official narrative of Ramda as the typical fundamentalist stage prop of so many mainstream media terror tales. This event recalls the NGO affiliations of the so-called ISIS video victims, as well as Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

In 2004, we saw a similar media fiasco with the agitprop style provocation from the caricatures of Mohammed in Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh’s “Submission: Part I,” which led to van Gogh’s retaliatory death.  A violent standoff ensued, with a terror cell in The Hague.  Then, from 2005-2010 we saw Danish papers create a soap opera scandal with numerous mockings of Mohammed in the Jyllands-Posten paper.  We are also reminded of the dubious association of the “Mohammed” film the western establishment attempted to link to the Benghazi incident that curiously occurred on the anniversary of 9/11 in 2012.  Former CIA operative Claire Lopez reported in October of 2012 several highly suspect details surrounding Benghazi that suggest a false flag, such as weapons transfers to Al Qaeda in Libya, as well as security for the facility being outsourced to Blue Mountain, a group with Muslim Brotherhood ties.

In my estimation, yesterday’s attack bears striking resemblances to the Anders Breivik attack of 2011, which reportedly involved a “right wing” terrorist masterminding the Norway massacre.  As is often the case, however, Breivik had numerous establishment ties to Western intelligence operations, and claimed to be a “Templar,” giving intimations of Masonic involvement.  Breivik comes to mind due to the curious connections of Francois Hollande with Grand Orient Masonry, a far leftist, socialist and atheistic version of Masonry that has existed in France since the Jacobins and the French Revolution.  Hollande’s coterie are also variously members of the Bilderberg Group, such as Manuel Valls.

Breivik also had a preproduced “manifesto” that soon appeared online, leading to speculations about its remarkable plagiaristic elements from previous “lone nut” manifestos, such as MK ULTRA test subject, the “Unabomber,” Ted Kaczynski. (Think of Elliot Rogers’ “manifesto,” as well.)  Breivik seems to be a “right wing” Euro version of the radical Islamic terror patsy, while above these dupes are the intelligence agencies and secret societies, themselves subservient to international power entities like Bilderberg and the banks.

What begins to emerge is a consistent pattern of interlocking and interconnected intelligence agencies at the level of “terror event,” as well as their assets that all serve the same establishment perched on top.  When we consider French intelligence, the fingerprints are no different, as French intelligence has had a long history of false flags and dirty dealings along with their western counterparts in NATO.  France helped train the Al Qaeda-linked rebels along with US and British forces in Jordan, a longtime CIA puppet state.  Arms and sand pirates are in steady supply for western intelligence agencies needing distractions or desiring to ramp up the terror/security theater.   France was also involved in the failed March 2014 Turkish false flag attempt aimed at laying the blame once again on Syria, and by extension, encroaching further on Russia.

Athanasius Listed Writings with Power to Help

When you open a Bible, you see at once that it is made up of many shorter books. Do you ever wonder how people decided which books should be included in the Bible?

It was important for Christians to know what was true scripture. For one thing, they needed to know what teachings they should follow. For another, they needed to know what writings they should protect if they had to, because they didn't want to be tortured or killed trying to save a book that wasn't God's word. About a hundred and thirty years after Christ's resurrection, bishops began making lists of the writings that they regarded as scripture. Their lists were usually close to each other but did not always agree exactly.

At the beginning of the year 367, Athanasius, bishop of Alexandria sat down to write an Easter letter to his church. He wrote these "festal" letters every year to put his people into the right frame of mind for celebrating Easter.

This year, he saw that his people were being fooled by books that claimed to be scripture but weren't. For instance, they might wonder if the Epistle of Barnabas was to be obeyed. Or they might fall for The Gospel of Peter by the Gnostics, a group who claimed secret knowledge of God. Peter's name was given to the work to give it creditability although he had nothing to do with writing it. Athanasius realized that the best defense against error was a clear understanding of scripture... but which writings were actually scripture? In his festal letter, written on this day, January 7, 367, he wrote, "Inasmuch as some have taken in hand to draw up for themselves an arrangement of the so-called apocryphal books and to intersperse them with the divinely inspired scripture...it has seemed good to me...to set forth in order the books which are included in the canon and have been delivered to us with accreditation that they are divine."

The church already accepted the books of the Jewish scripture as inspired by the Holy Spirit. These became our Old Testament. The church also agreed that books and letters written by the apostles or by writers under their direct influence were probably scripture if the books had been used for a long time by the church. These became our New Testament. Athanasius thought it best to list the trustworthy books. He was the first man to compile a list of New Testament books as we know them. His list for the Old Testament did not include the apocryphal books or Esther.

Athanasius had a high regard for scripture. He wrote, "These are fountains of salvation, that they who thirst may be satisfied with the living words that they contain. In these alone is proclaimed the doctrine of godliness. Let no man add to these, neither let him take anything from these. For concerning these the Lord put to shame the Sadducees, and said, 'Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures.' And he reproved the Jews, saying, 'Search the Scriptures, for these are they that testify of me.'"

Because of the importance of the city of Alexandria, Athanasius was a well-known bishop. Much of his life was spent battling heresy, especially Arianism, which denied the divinity of Christ. His strong views got him into trouble with the emperor and he was forced into exile five times. Each time, the Egyptians welcomed him back. Because of his influence, his list of books helped settle the question of which books do and don't belong in the Bible. People recognized the truth of what the great bishop wrote. The books of the Bible are not God's word because Athanasius said so; they are in the Bible because almost everyone in the church recognized them as coming from God. Athanasius was only expressing the conviction and practice of most Christians across the Roman Empire.

First Mass in the New World

When Christopher Columbus defied the commonsense of the day and sailed west instead of east to find India, he gave as one reason for doing so to take the gospel to the heathen. Clergymen accompanied him in his voyages. The Christian faith did indeed come to the new world and, as a consequence, numerous churches and cathedrals grace the cities of the Americas.

The first of these many churches was erected at Isabela on the Island of Haiti in 1494. It was just a temporary structure, to be sure. Like Raleigh at Jamestown, Columbus picked about as poor a site as possible for his first "permanent" settlement in the New World. The harbor was exposed to northern winds. Fresh water was a mile off. Bigger boats had to anchor half a mile off shore. But Columbus was impatient to begin his hunt for gold.

The feast of Epiphany* that fell on this day, January 6, 1494, was highly significant. On it Columbus and all his men disembarked and entered the temporary church that they had built. There they heard Fray Buil offer mass--the first mass ever heard on land in the New World, precursor of countless millions more.

Although the Spaniards "converted" many Indians in those early years, one wonders how effectual the conversions were. The brutality of Columbus's companions and his ineptitude as an administrator guaranteed that hundreds of thousands of Indians perished under the hand of the invaders without knowing more of Christianity than the greed and cruelty that wasted them.

* Epiphany is a feast having to do with the infancy and baptism of Christ. By the fourth century the eastern church observed it as one of the three principal feasts of the church year (the other two were Easter and Pentecost; Christmas didn't become popular until later). In the western church, which did not get Epiphany until the fourth century, the feast took on a completely different character. There it was associated with the coming of the magi (wise men) bringing gifts to baby Jesus, and scant mention was made of Christ's baptism. The eastern church still links Epiphany with the baptism of Christ.

Archeologists discover Mythical Tomb of Osiris, God of the Dead, in Egypt

Let me clarify that this tomb "represents" Osiris, and has not been verified as actual proof of his tomb.  I'd expect a lot of Freemasons to be very interested in this locale in either case.  The theory on all this interest in the tombs of ancient kings is not riches or knowledge, but the possibility of acquiring some DNA of these ancient rulers for cloning.  We shall see...

A Spanish-Italian archaeological team, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, has made an incredible discovery in the necropolis of Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, on the West Bank at Thebes, Egypt – an enormous ancient reproduction of the mythical Tomb of Osiris as described by Egyptian legend, complete with multiple shafts and chambers. Inside the tomb complex, researchers found a carving of Osiris and a room with a wall relief depicting a demon holding knives.

According to the Spanish news agency EFE, the tomb embodies all the features of the tomb of Osiris, as told in ancient Egyptian legends, and is a smaller version of the design of the Osireion, built under Egyptian pharaoh Seti I  in the city of Abydos, Luxor.  Researchers believe the tomb complex dates back to the 25th dynasty (760 - 656 BC) or 26th dynasty (672 - 525 BC), based on a comparison to similar tombs that contain Osirian elements.
The complex consists of a large hall supported by five pillars. RTVE describes the structure as having a staircase from the north wall of the main room, leading down to the funerary complex, where there is a carving of Osiris, god of the dead, in the middle of a central vaulted temple.

To the west of the central temple is a funerary room with the reliefs of demons holding knives. The leader of the Spanish-Italian team that uncovered the tomb, Dr. María Milagros Álvarez Sosa, told EFE that the demons are there to protect the body of the deceased.

Opposite the statue of Osiris is a staircase with a 29.5 foot (9 meter) shaft leading to another chamber. Inside this chamber is a second shaft that descends 19.6 feet (6 meters) into two more rooms, which are currently full of debris.

“The symbolism of Osiris is very evident here, since all the elements recalling the mythical Osiris tomb are present,” writes Luxor Times Magazine, “a big staircase of 3.5 meter long with a 4 meter high ceiling at the bottom leading to the Netherworld and another one leading directly to the Osiris statue, which is therefore at a higher level and ideally isolated on ‘his island’; the Osiris statue itself; the empty corridor surrounding it which symbolizes the channel of water (see Osireion in Abydos); the expected burial chamber below the statue, thus identifying the deceased with Osiris.”

Part of the tomb was initially discovered by archaeologist Philippe Virey in the 1880s and some attempts were made to sketch out the main structure in the 20^th century. However, it was not until recently that the full extent of the structure was discovered through excavations. The funerary complex will continue to be explored and the chambers cleared of debris in the Autumn of this year.

Theophylact's Flattery "Exiled" Him to Ohrid

Can you make too good an impression on someone important? Theophylact may have thought so.On this day, January 6, 1088, he gave an enthusiastic speech before Alexius, Emperor of Byzantium, warmly praising the emperor and his mother Anna Dalassena. He crowed over the emperor's conquest of parts of the Balkans. The emperor was a diplomat and servant of the church, said Theophylact. His speech had unintended consequences.

Evidently the emperor was pleased. In Byzantium (the eastern half of the old Roman Empire), church posts were under government control. They were often given as rewards. The emperor promoted Theophylact to be archbishop of Ohrid in Bulgaria (now Macedonia).

For Theophylact, who was a cultured man, the promotion was like a sentence of exile. In Constantinople, he had libraries, palaces, and shimmering architecture. He taught the sons of important men. Theophylact even taught prince Constantine Doukas, who was expected to become emperor; and he was a friend to the boy’s beautiful mother, Maria of Alania. By transferring to Bulgaria, he would have to leave all that behind and many friends, too. Like other snobby Byzantines, he considered Ohrid a barbarian backwater. But churchmen were civil servants, who had to go wherever the emperor ordered, so he went.

As Theophylact soon found out, he was leaving behind even more than he had thought. When he drew near to Ohrid, a horrid stench stunned his nose. Evidently sanitation standards were not as high as in Constantinople.

Byzantium's conquest of Bulgaria still rankled Ohrid. Theophylact's coming rubbed salt in the wounds of its defeat. Formerly, the Bulgarians had had their own patriarch. Resentful of their loss of independence, they greeted Theophylact with jeers and insults. To spite him, they sang a victory song, extolling their nation's past triumphs. They were not consoled by the fact that the emperor had given local bishops the privilege of consecrating Theophylact or that the emperor had confirmed that Bulgaria's church would be independent of the Patriarch of Constantinople. Theophylact was an outsider, and they knew he was expected do his part to keep Bulgaria glued to the empire.

For his part, Theophylact did not like Bulgaria, which he called "of all provinces of the empire, the most pitiable." He was homesick and begged friends to help get him released from the place. After a visit home, he wrote, "So I return to the Bulgarians, I who am a true Constantinopolitan and, strange though it is, a Bulgarian."

Yet he had compassion on Bulgaria's poor. In several letters he pleaded for tax relief and pointed out that one child in five was seized to be sold into slavery as payment for taxes. He urged a show of mercy "lest the patience of the poor be finally exhausted."

One way that Theophylact tried to forget his homesickness was to write. 130 of his letters were published. These are hard to understand today because he wrote in a "puzzle" style used by educated men of that era. Even so, they are full of useful bits of Byzantine and Bulgarian history and satirical comments. He came to love Slavic literature and Slavic church heroes and wrote a life of St. Clement of Ohrid and retold the story of the fifteen martyrs buried at Strumitsa, not far from Ohrid. In "exile," he also wrote commentaries on the gospels and on Paul's epistles.

Amazingly, four hundred years later, Theophylact's January 6th speech was still generating fallout. A German scholar named Erasmus discovered the archbishop's writings. He borrowed some of Theophylact's ideas for a satire called In Praise of Folly. That book, by poking fun at wrongs in the church and society, helped bring about the Protestant reformation in Europe.

At the British Friends of Bar-Ilan University's event in Otto Uomo October 2014 Professor Ido Bachelet announced the beginning of the human treatment with nanomedicine. He indicates DNA nanobots can currently identify cells in humans with 12 different types of cancer tumors.

A human patient with late stage leukemia will be given DNA nanobot treatment. Without the DNA nanobot treatment the patient would be expected to die in the summer of 2015. Based upon animal trials they expect to remove the cancer within one month.

Within 1 or 2 years they hope to have spinal cord repair working in animals and then shortly thereafter in humans. This is working in tissue cultures.

Previously Ido Bachelet and Shawn Douglas have published work on DNA nanobots in the journal Nature and other respected science publications.

 

One Trillion 50 nanometer nanobots in a syringe will be injected into people to perform cellular surgery.

The DNA nanobots have been tuned to not cause an immune response.
They have been adjusted for different kinds of medical procedures. Procedures can be quick or ones that last many days.

Medicine or treatment released based upon molecular sensing - Only targeted cells are treated

Ido's daughter has a leg disease which requires frequent surgery. He is hoping his DNA nanobots will make the type of surgery she needs relatively trivial - a simple injection at a doctor's office.

With the year drawing to a close, it’s important to take inventory of some of the larger, more impactful conspiratorial stories and events in 2014.  It was a year which saw an unprecedented assault on reality, and our imaginations. Make no mistake, this is a psychic war being waged on our senses, as a media-driven synthetic reality is being advanced to consume reason and logic.

There were a number of other notable events that could have easily made this list – like the federal stand-off at Bundy Ranch, CIA Torture Report and Israel’s siege of Gaza – but we chose the ten most improbable conspiracies for this end of year omnibus special.

We hope you’ll agree, that this is the best ‘conspiracy countdown’ on the web this holiday season.
In the count down to number one, here’s our top ten of 2014…

10. Scottish Independence – Was the vote for Scotland’s independence rigged? It’s no secret that Westminster didn’t want Scottish self-determination to prevail north of the border. The Glasgow City Council confirmed that there were at least ten cases of suspected electoral fraud occurring at polling stations following the Scottish referendum vote on the September 18th. There were a number of reports indicating voter fraud, including the Sky News cameras capturing proof that ‘Yes’ votes were being placed in ‘No’ piles on the day of the referendum. The BBC wase also caught using its state-sponsored platform to effectively smear the ‘Yes’ campaign. There are plenty of financial and geopolitical reasons to ensure that Scotland would stay in the UK, and according to some, an independent Scotland could have seen as much as a 90 percent boost in income from profits derived from gas and oil reserves due to the UK’s borders being redrawn. Hollywood’s The Interview and ‘Sony Hack’ scandal – Despite being hyped and spun to high heaven, and getting a ton of free publicity from the President himself, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s release of The Interview failed to impress the critics, before it proceeded to flop it’s way into Hollywood’s dustbin of perennial mediocre films. While the FBI and the entire US media blamed the infamous ‘Sony Hack’ on a fictitious secret North Korean hacking unit called ‘Bureau 121′ (seriously?). 21WIRE called it from the onset for what it truly was – a ‘false flag’ hack. We also revealed how this film was actually an expensive piece of Rand Corportion and US State Department propaganda designed to weaken morale in North Korea and hopefully pave the way for regime change. That didn’t stop mindless US politicians and media charlatans from claiming that it was our “patriotic duty as Americans” to go and see this movie on Christmas Day. 8. Ottawa Shooter and The Sydney Siege – Bizarre shootings have become an almost monthly event in the west, so we’ve paired these two international terror mascots together at #8. In 2014, both Canada and Australia were thrust into America’s weird world of ‘ISIS-related’ terroresque incidents. Suspected Parliament Hill and National War Memorial assailant, aka ‘The Ottawa Shooter’, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, was quickly elevated to international monster status by the media and yet, he appeared to have the perfect ‘modus operandi’ and fractured criminal résumé required to be an informant for the Canadian security services. It turns out, the authorities admit Bibeau was being ‘monitored’ (managed). Just prior to the Ottawa shooting, we revealed how the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), had pushed through a weighty anti-terror security measure called C-44. It should also be mentioned that several multi-agency drills had taken place in weeks leading up to the shooting in Canada. On the day of the shooting, Canadian SWAT officers could be seen laughing and joking while posing for cameras – indicating that this was a completely staged event. Similarly, another colorful gunman rose to brief international prominence in December – ‘Shiekh’ Man Haron Monis who starred in the Sydney Siege in December. Like in Canada, there were also a series of drills, like ‘Operation Hammerhead’, which took place prior to Monis taking hostages at the Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Martin Place. Like Bibeau, Australia’s Shiekh Monis had the perfect informant profile, including regular mainstream media spots given to him, and just like Bibeau, Shiekh Monis was also being ‘monitored’ (managed). The building of an ‘artificial Jihad’ has been an ongoing theme since the War on Terror was declared, and there’s been no shortage of coerced participants and mentally disturbed, low-life criminals who’ve stepped on stage to play the role of ‘domestic terrorist’, ‘self-starter’ and ‘homegrown ISIS-linked’ boogeyman…

7. Isla Vista Tortured Teen Rampage and Vegas ‘Sin City’ Shooters – In 2012, we had Aurora and Sandy Hook, and in 2013 it was Aaron Alexis and LAX, and 2014 was no different. In the US, regularly scheduled and seemingly unexplainable bizarre shooting incidents have become something of a national pastime, so we’ve included this dynamic duo in at #7. In California, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger (son of a Hollywood producer) was named in an apparent drive-by-shooting near UC Santa Barbara in Isla Vista. He pulled off the improbable: twelve crime scenes at ten different locations, including three stabbings at the alleged shooter’s apartment complex – all prior to two separate shootouts with police, according to ‘official’ reports. In his well-scripted YouTube videos, Rodger craved “Retribution”, and lamented ‘being a virgin’, blaming women for rejecting his advances. It was like a plot straight out of any teen vampire movie. Similarly, the incredible narrative of the newlywed ‘Vegas Shooters’, Jerad and Amanda Miller, whose wild road adventure took them from Occupy rallies in the Midwest, to Las Vegas, where they quickly reconfigured their image from left-wing activists into that of right-wing ‘patriots’. Their apparent cross-country American adventure documented on YouTube soon turned into a double cop-killing rampage in Vegas this past June, and eerily mirrored the plot of the Hollywood classic, Natural Born Killers. After their arrival in Las Vegas, the Millers were sent to Bundy Ranch before the infamous standoff in April, where a number of major media spots were organized for them on networks like NBC, and Al Jazeera America. It turns out that the Millers have a working relationship with the Las Vegas Sheriff’s department, although it is still unknown exactly what purpose they served…

Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church, has emerged as a somewhat controversial figure. While maintaining semblances of the Catholic stance on social issues, Pope Francis seems to be more-malleable on these issues than any other Pope in history.

 

The Pope has struck a liberal tone on certain key issues and has even agreed to address the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics on the importance of combating climate change- a catch-all term favored by liberals to encompass any slight variance in weather.

 

The Pope is expected to address the United Nations in 2015 on the issue and call for a summit of world religious leaders from many different faiths to discuss the issue.

 

Further, the Pope was reportedly involved in the recent thawing of relations with Cuba, a nation that has been on-the-outs with the U.S. for a half-century due to the Communist dictatorship that infests the imprisoned island.

 

The Pontiff has also spoken-out against trickle-down economics, the economic policy that serves as a generator of economic growth and is aimed more at providing opportunities for the poor rather than mere handouts and government dependency.

 

As Pope Francis crusades for liberal political issues, it seems clear that Obama, who has served as arguably the most-hostile president to religion in history, has found a true ally and a way to help mend fences with Catholics who have taken issue with his extreme secular agenda.

Study Finds Catholics Ready For Alien Saviors, Some Evangelicals Remain Leery

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- How people value space exploration may just depend on someone's particular faith.
An analysis of the results of several national surveys by a University of Dayton political science professor found that Catholics are more supportive of the U.S. maintaining a leading role in probing the depths of space and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence than people of other faiths.
Political scientist Joshua Ambrosius told Catholic News Service evangelical Protestants, on the other hand, are significantly less likely than people of other faiths to see the value of the nation's space endeavors. Evangelicals also tended to have less knowledge about space, he said.
Why evangelicals are less supportive of the various facets of space exploration is uncertain, but having grown up in an evangelical family, Ambrosius said he can understand some possible reasons.
"In my family, there wasn't a lot of discussion about science and its relevance. I had influences that would question the findings and contributions of modern science, particularly the view of evolutionary origins (of humans). I grew up in a church and a tradition very oriented around creation science. It wasn't until I was an older teenager and in college (that) I turned to accept the scientific explanation of evolution," he said.
Ambrosius studied various factors outlined in four surveys, including knowledge of space, interest in space, support for funding of space exploration, views on the benefits of space exploration, space optimism and space nationalism -- whether the U.S. should be a leader in space exploration.
He analyzed data from the 2010 General Social Survey of the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago; the June 2011 Political Survey of the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press; the April 2010 Political Future Survey and the spring 2009 General Public Science Survey. He broke down responses from Catholics, evangelicals, mainline Protestants, Jews, Eastern religions and people with no religion.

King Edward the Confessor's 2 Successors

Edward the Confessor became the only English king ever to be canonized (officially named a saint) and was the builder of one of the most celebrated churches in the Christian world. Edward was next to the last of the Saxon kings. He married Edith, daughter of Godwin. On his deathbed, Edward named Edith's brother Harold to succeed him as king. But Harold could not hold the throne. Ten months after Edward's death, French from Normandy invaded England under William the Conqueror.
William's claim to the English throne was the result of an earlier invasion. When Edward was in his teens, the Danes invaded England and removed his father from the throne. Edward fled to Normandy, which was ruled by Edward's uncle. Edward actually spent a large part of his life in Normandy. He came under the influence of the Norman monks and led a devout life. He vowed to make a pilgrimage to Rome, but his half brother died and Edward suddenly was proclaimed king before he could fulfill his vow.

Edward was not particularly outstanding as a king, but he reduced taxes and lived on the income of his own lands. Despite turbulent times, he kept his nation at peace. However, he favored Normans over Saxons. This led to serious disputes with his father-in-law, Godwin. In anger at Godwin, Edward may have insulted his own wife, Edith.

It bothered Edward that he had not fulfilled his promise to make a pilgrimage to Rome. He asked the pope to release him from his vow, since the troubled condition of his land did not permit him to travel freely. The pope agreed to free Edward but only if he would rebuild the monastery of St. Peter at Westminster. The result--the Collegiate Church of St. Peter--is known today as Westminster Abbey.
The choir and part of the main worship area were dedicated on December 28, 1065. Edward was too sick to attend. The sixty-three-year-old king died just eight days later, on this date, January 5, l066. Claiming that Edward had passed the throne to him while sheltering in Normandy years earlier, William invaded England. On December 25, he was crowned King of England in Westminster Abbey. This famous church, rebuilt by later kings, has ever since continued to be the coronation church of the British monarchy.

Some time after Edward's death, Osbert of Clare and other monks of Westminster made claims that Edward had been a holy man. He was reported to have performed several miracles when touching people to heal them. King Henry II saw political advantages in strengthening the memory of Edward. He petitioned for Edward's canonization. Pope Alexander III obliged in 1161. And so Edward became an official saint of the Roman Church ninety-five years after his death.

Pope Francis is increasingly driving a wedge between conservatives and the Catholic Church.


The magnetic pope has sparked new enthusiasm around the world for the church and has flexed his political muscles internationally, most recently by helping to engineer a new relationship between the United States and Cuba.


But Francis’s agenda, which also includes calls to address income inequality and limit climate change, is putting him at odds with Republicans, including GOP Catholics in the United States.


Hours after President Obama announced moves to ease trade and travel restrictions to Cuba, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a practicing Catholic and potential 2016 presidential candidate, criticized the deal and Francis's role in it.

“I would also ask His Holiness to take up the cause of freedom and democracy, which is critical for a free people, for a people to truly be free,” Rubio told reporters.

Rubio said that Cubans “deserve the same chances to have democracy as the people of Argentina have had, where he comes from, as the people of Italy have, where he now lives.”
His office declined additional comment for this story.

Fellow Catholic Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) said he wished Francis would stand up for the Cuban people "rather than their oppressors."

“Sadly, in the case of Cuba, the Catholic Church has not always applied its basic principles of human dignity and reverence for the God-given freedoms that belong to every soul. I was supremely disappointed by press reports that the Pope had a hand in urging President Obama to cede crucial leverage that could have been used to help the Cuban people become free,” Diaz-Balart said.


It's not the first time Francis has clashed with conservatives.

Since his papal inauguration in March 2013, the pontiff has publicly made policy remarks about income inequality and the environment that many American Catholics weren't used to hearing coming from the Vatican, and not just from the pulpit.

“Inequality is the root of social evil,” Francis tweeted in March, after months earlier slamming “trickle-down” economics as a “crude and naïve” theory.

Next year, as part of a speech he’ll give to the United Nations General Assembly, Francis will issue an edict urging the world's 1.2 billion Catholics to do what they can to fight climate change.


“He's modeling the church as a place for open disagreement,” said Vincent J. Miller, who chairs the University of Dayton's Catholic theology program. “In that sense, one of the most important changes he's making is that conservative politicians are now openly disagreeing with him,” Miller said.
Catholics have long been considered an important voting block in American politics and have turned out for the winning presidential candidate in the last three cycles.

A closer look at the Catholic vote reveals that white Catholics have supported the Republican candidate in each of those elections, while Hispanic Catholics have supported the Democratic candidate, according to Pew Research polling.

It’s not quite a gift from God but, politically, it may be the next best thing.

President Obama increasingly is finding a key policy ally in the Vatican, with Pope Francis standing virtually shoulder to shoulder with the White House on income inequality and a historic diplomatic reboot with communist Cuba. The pontiff next year also appears poised to offer greater support to the president on climate change initiatives and reportedly wants to be a leading voice at a U.N. global warming summit next year, where the American president will make perhaps his greatest pitch to date for more dramatic action on the environment.

Russian Pentecostals Took the Road

Increasingly the word that came to Peter Vashchenko's mind early in the 1960s was Doroga-- "the road." He must find a road out of the atheistic Soviet Union. Did not the Bible warn, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins"?

Years before, Peter's father, Paul Vashchenko, was converted to Christianity during World War I. Back in Russia, he told others about his faith. When he married and had children, he passed his belief on to them. Peter married Augustina, a non-Christian. They moved to Chernogorsk in Siberia. While visiting Peter's family, Augustina read the Bible. It became her favorite book. She was impressed with her in-laws' loving home. What a contrast it made to the drunken quarrels she had grown up with. In 1953, she gave herself to Jesus and repented of her past sins, which included belonging to atheistic organizations.

The Christians experienced the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit. Christ's love caught fire in their hearts. Their teaching and honesty won others to Christ. By 1961, the Chernogorsk community had over two hundred believers.

They were ordered to register their church with the authorities in order to be allowed to continue meeting, and were told they could preach only on approved topics and might not hold special meetings for their children. They refused to register.

Authorities sent Pastor Grigory Vashchenko and his assistant, Andrei Miller, to prison. The athiestic leaders rammed the church with a mine truck while a service was in progress. Through a broken window they sprayed the worshipers with high-pressure water from a fire hose. The Christian men leaped up to the window and took the blast on their backs to protect the women and children.

At school, teachers mocked the Christian children and gave them lower grades than the other pupils, even when they did their work perfectly. So Peter and his brother pulled their children out of school. The authorities threatened to take the children away. For several months the believers hid them, but in the end the youngsters were discovered and taken to juvenile homes that housed unmanageable criminals. Months passed, and the Vashchenkos did not even know where their daughters were. A cook, while drunk, took pity on them and wrote telling where their children were. After that, the family took turns traveling to meet the girls secretly and encourage them in their faith. It was exhausting and expensive.

Some Christians wanted to emigrate. Peter and a few others went to Moscow to make arrangements. When they learned that they would not be allowed to leave the Soviet Union, they formed the desperate idea of entering the American Embassy, hoping the Americans would take them out of the country. Buying tickets at different times, thirty-two slipped off to Moscow without raising the suspicion of the secret police. In Moscow, on this day, January 3rd, 1963, they overwhelmed the policeman at the gates of the American embassy and entered.

The Americans did not offer any hope. Smooth-talking KGB officers promised better treatment. The authorities just hadn't known what was going on, they lied. Some of the Christians believed the KGB. The Americans told the rest that they could do nothing for them because the USSR refused exit visas.
Persecution continued. Peter and other Christians went to prison. After his release, he again tried to emigrate, this time with his daughters, who had run away from their juvenile home. He was unsuccessful and state authorities seized the girls. Their ordeal might seem futile, but the families' repeated attempts to take the road created an international stir. The persecution of Soviet Christians came to world attention. Eventually, this resulted in an easing of the harsh treatment of believers.
