Okay, the headline is connecting the dots by me, but it is possible. A massive blast apparently centered in a military base which local authorities pretend didn't happen, as geiger counters spike for roughly 24 hours on June 8th. Bob Powell covers the basics here, and is the closest reporter to the situation, as he was arrested when he went to the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center simply to ask some questions. He also exposes a couple of sham sites that tend to redirect these stories. This is fascinating stuff....
