The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[e] is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. URGENT WARNING - If you are not saved, say these words BELOW and truly mean them.........THE SINNERS PRAYER-

Believe with all your heart that JESUS CHRIST, is the son of God, believe he died on the cross and rose again for you, admit you are a sinner, and ask Him into your heart and to change your life...... then repent of your sins and do your best to live every day without sin.

Believe with all your heart the words you have just prayed and you will be saved. Horrific times are coming on the earth, No one can save your soul other than Jesus Christ. Prophecy is unfolding now at an alarming rate......Please, I urge anyone who reads this to ask Christ into your heart.

Franklin Graham: "I can't help but wonder if we are in the last hours before our Lord Jesus Christ returns…"

We are close, but not hours least until we see a third temple in Jerusalem and a renewed covenant established (likely the Old Covenant renewed) by a powerful military leader in Jerusalem.

I don't know if we have hours, days, months, or years—but as Christians, God calls us to take the truth of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Dear Friend,
As you watch the news, do you feel as I do—that it seems the world is coming apart at the seams? There appears to be no end to the bad news. The killing of Christians by Muslims from Indonesia to Bangladesh to Pakistan. China tearing down church buildings. Christians tortured, beheaded, and crucified in Iraq, with villages burned and churches destroyed, and much the same in Syria.
American pastor Saeed Abedini is still imprisoned in Iran for his faith. Throughout Northern Africa, the Middle East, and many parts of the world, the Church of Jesus Christ—and anyone or any group who bears His Name—is under attack. In our own country as well, there is great opposition to the Church of Jesus Christ. We see this throughout the media, the entertainment industry, government, and politics.
Jesus warned His disciples in Matthew 24 when they asked Him about the signs of the end of the age. He said there would be wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and pestilence. He told them, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake" (Matthew 24:9, KJV).

Mysterious 'Fake' Cell Phone Towers Found Across America

This story has bounced around for a week, and the initial claims were that "criminal elements" were doing this for some nefarious reason.  However there's no follow-ups from major news sites for this story and the government has taken no actions regarding these rogue towers.  Go figure...

Are strange imposter cell phone towers discovered across the country part of a secret government surveillance program?

Space War Comes

This actually came out in 2010, but it's a good primer for those who aren't familiar with the topics of advanced technology and the explosion of space programs taking place today.  Many don't even know that we have a space launch facility off the coast of Virginia (nicknamed MARS - the god of war) or that the public is grossly unaware of technological advances, especially thanks to the news vacuum that has occurred over the last three years. Interesting stuff....

We recently saw the Norway spiral up in Tromsö and aurora light phenomena just a few weeks later. What part did Scandinavia's HAARP facility EISCAT (the European Incoherent Scatter facility) play in all of this? There has also been strange pattern showing up on radar over Australia. Large spherical objects have been seen near the Sun by NASA satellites. We talk about the Cloud of Care, CERN, the LHC, the New Age Messiah Maitreya and much more with Freeman. Do NOT miss these two very exciting hours with Freeman.

Shimon Peres "The United Religions" (The Beast Is Rising) - Paul Begley

The Pope has been hard at work politically in Israel since his rise to power.  A UN oversight of the religious issues in Jerusalem has been discussed before.  It won't come to pass until God's timing is set...the idea that the Pope is or will be the Antichrist or "false prophet" beast of Revelation 13 has also been around for many years.

Was Solomon's Temple Actually Located South of todays "Temple Mount"? Have We Been Looking in the Wrong Location?

I had other articles set to go tonight, but this is a stunning development both in our understanding of biblical history and prophecy, as well as the actual locations of biblical events, both Old and New Testament.  Of the people I have learned from and read over the years, none is more respected than Chuck Missler.  The other adventurer here, Bob Cornuke, won me over that the true location of Mt. Sinai is actually on the Arabian peninsula, across the Red Sea from the traditional site in Egypt.  I've climbed the traditional site in Egypt and Cornuke is correct, it simply doesn't fit the description in the Bible.

If they are right, IF they are right, this is a gamechanger for our understanding of prophetic events.  This means the third Temple could be built at almost any time, without concern for Islamic protests related to the proximity of the Dome of the Rock.  It's a little long, but well worth the time...fascinating stuff!

Chuck Missler and Ron Matsen explore the answers to your questions. With special guest speaker Bob Cornuke. This session was broadcast LIVE on the 27th of August, from the Briefing Room at the River Lodge in Reporoa, New Zealand.

We are about to witness a human catastrophe that could destroy large portions of a continent

This is a compilation of article on the unfolding Ebola nightmare gathered from

Posted by
September 2014AFRICA – Sometimes the artifice of writing — metaphors, historical comparisons, the just-so quote — fails. The Ebola outbreak in West Africa demands directness: We are about to witness a human catastrophe that could destroy large portions of a continent and pose a global threat. And the response of the world, including the United States, is feeble, irresponsible and disrespectful of nature’s lethal perils. American health officials and nonprofit groups are bringing back the same report from the region. In Liberia, the rate of new infections has probably already moved from a linear to an exponential curve. The same may be true within the next week or so for Sierra Leone and Guinea. The normal countermeasures for an infectious disease — isolation, case investigation, contact tracing — are increasingly irrelevant given the rate of increase. Local health care infrastructure, which barely existed in the first place, is overwhelmed. People have lost faith in the large clinics, where 50 percent to 60 percent of patients who enter do not leave alive. And those in need of emergency care for other conditions — such as heart attacks or complicated births — are often frightened of clinics and hospitals, and are dying without treatment.
The international response is inadequate and disorganized. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations provide “road maps.” But, according to one infectious disease expert, “there is no one to implement command, control and communications. No one.” Multiple, uncoordinated organizations are attempting to confront a disease that is out of control. “They are quibbling over 25 to 30 bed units,” the expert vents. Meanwhile, WHO has revised its prediction of new Ebola infections upward to 20,000 by year-end. Other models indicate more like 100,000. Once the growth of an outbreak becomes exponential, the tools normally at the disposal of health officials have limited value. It may require military airlifts just to deliver sufficient rubber gloves, aprons, soap and buckets to highly affected areas. Doctors Without Borders is calling for the deployment of civilian and military medical teams to provide triage centers, field hospitals with isolation wards, mobile diagnostic labs and systems for the management of corpses. But who will direct and implement such an effort? WHO is not an emergency response organization; it is known mainly for bureaucracy and infighting. The United Nations has no epidemic response force comparable to its peacekeeping operations (though perhaps it should). It is hard to imagine a coordinated effort on a sufficient scale that is not organized by America.
At the current rate of new infections, affected countries are likely to see civil disorder, economic paralysis and corpses in the streets. The most immediate threat is the rapid spread of the disease in Nigeria. A major outbreak in a sprawling city such as Lagos would be unprecedented, unpredictable and horrific. And as a virus multiplies it also mutates. So far, scientists have not seen any changes in the Ebola virus that are relevant to its biological function. But with more replications, over more months, the risk increases. Scientists quietly fear genetic mutations that would make the virus harder to detect, more resistant to treatment, or (God forbid) easier to transmit. This is not likely, but it is possible. Health officials are near wits’ end. “I don’t see any pathway that is easy to implement,” one told me. Easy or hard, it is time for America to blaze a path out of this valley of death. -DN

Grim Ebola prediction: outbreak is ‘unstoppable’ for now, says U.S. virologist

September 2014 AFRICA - A doctor who just returned from treating Ebola patients in West Africa predicts the current Ebola outbreak will go on for more than a year, and will continue to spread unless a vaccine or other drugs that prevent or treat the disease are developed. Dr. Daniel Lucey, an expert on viral outbreaks and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Medical Center, recently spent three weeks in Sierra Leone, one of the countries affected by the Ebola outbreak. While there, Lucey evaluated and treated Ebola patients, and trained other doctors and nurses on how to use protective equipment. The current Ebola outbreak, which is mainly in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, has so far killed at least 1,552 of the more than 3,000 people infected, making it the largest and deadliest Ebola outbreak in history. It is also the first outbreak to spread from rural areas to cities. Strategies that have worked in the past to stop Ebola outbreaks in rural areas may not, by themselves, be enough to halt this outbreak, Lucey said. “I don’t believe that our traditional methods of being able to control and stop outbreaks in rural areas … is going to be effective in most of the cities,” Lucey said yesterday (Sept. 3) in a discussion held at Georgetown University Law Center that was streamed online.

The Transhumanist Scrapbook: MIT and Selective Gene Repair: Explicit Benefits, and Implicit Dangers

There’s been another important development in the “quadrangle” of GRIN technologies(genetics, robotics, information processing, and nanotechnology) that form the Tranhumanist movement’s vision of the “singularity”, and this time it’s in the world of genetics:

Editing the genome with high precision

There are some key paragraphs here:
“The new system is much more user-friendly, Zhang says. Making use of naturally occurring bacterial protein-RNA systems that recognize and snip viral DNA, the researchers can create DNA-editing complexes that include a nuclease called Cas9 bound to short RNA sequences. These sequences are designed to target specific locations in the genome; when they encounter a match, Cas9 cuts the DNA.
This approach can be used either to disrupt the function of a gene or to replace it with a new one. To replace the gene, the researchers must also add a DNA template for the new gene, which would be copied into the genome after the DNA is cut.
Each of the RNA segments can target a different sequence. “That’s the beauty of this — you can easily program a nuclease to target one or more positions in the genome,” Zhang says.
The method is also very precise — if there is a single base-pair difference between the RNA targeting sequence and the genome sequence, Cas9 is not activated. This is not the case for zinc fingers or TALEN. The new system also appears to be more efficient than TALEN, and much less expensive.”(Emphasis added)
You’ll note that while previous genetic splicing and dicing was a more hit-and-miss affair, this new technique allows the targeting of a specific gene, and that this targeting can be used either to alter a specific gene’s function, or replace it with an entirely new one.

The process appears already to have been utilized to correct a liver disorder in laboratory mice by correcting a mutated gene causing the disorder:

Erasing a genetic mutation

This is all, so far as it goes, good news, and especially for people suffering liver disorders which could presumably be corrected by altering the function of a mutated gene, or simply removing it and replacing it with a gene causing healthy liver function. One can imagine more extensions of this technology to, say, the pancreas and the problem of diabetes which many have long suspected to have some genetic correlation, or perhaps even deadly pancreatic cancer.

As with all emerging technologies, however, there are implicit dangers as well, and we’ve seen some of them already evident with the GMO issue: what are the long-term intergenerational effects of such technologies? Will their development enhance, or ultimately inhibit, natural evolutionary processes, the very processes which have, for example, built up immune systems? If genetic therapies are widely practiced on a generation for various chronic illnesses, what, if any, will be the effect on their offspring’s natural ability to ward off disease through the immune system? It is a cautionary lesson that the GMO issue has only all too starkly reminded us of: falling crop yields, and a growing concern in the literature that the GMO foods are causing various health problems, including, if you’ll recall, declining litters in a Danish pig farmer’s pigs when fed a steady diet of GMOs.

And as you’ll have guessed, there are also greater possibilities available in the creation of chimeras, blends of DNA from one species with that of another, for now specific areas and genes can be targeted and their functions modified or simply be replaced.

Of course, these are the concerns of an amateur, of a non-scientist and non-geneticist. But it is the essence of science at any given moment to be proven wrong over time, and with that lesson in mind, before jumping on any confident medical assurances – after all, the medical and drug industry is always truthful, right? – we need to insist that technologies affecting the very processes of all life be subject to the most rigorous inter-generational testing possible, and that any human volunteers for tests of new therapies be fully apprised of the implicit possibilities.

The Great Smithsonian Cover-Up: 18 Giant Skeletons Discovered in Wisconsin

Scientists are remaining stubbornly silent about a lost race of giants found in burial mounds near Lake Delavan, Wisconsin, in May 1912.
The dig site at Lake Delavan was overseen by Beloit College and it included more than 200 effigy mounds that proved to be classic examples of 8th century Woodland Culture.
But the enormous size of the skeletons and elongated skulls found in May 1912 did not fit very neatly into anyone’s concept of a textbook standard. They were enormous. These were not average human beings.
Strange Skulls
First reported in the 4 May 1912 issue of the New York Times the 18 skeletons found by the Peterson brothers on Lake Lawn Farm in southwest Wisconsin exhibited several strange and freakish features.

Their heights ranged between 7.6ft and 10 feet and their skulls…
“presumably those of men, are much larger than the heads of any race which inhabit America to-day.”
They tend to have a double row of teeth, 6 fingers, 6 toes and like humans came in different races. The teeth in the front of the jaw are regular molars. Heads usually found are elongated believed due to longer than normal life span.
One must wonder how much can they lift if twice the size of a average human today? Are these the Giants the Bible & many other civilizations have in their history and painted on their walls?
The Bible in ‘Genesis 6:4′
“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old men of renown.”
Now this is faulty logic to any scientist out there because I am using religious/cultural history to fill a hole in science.
Over 200 Giant digs have been found in recent years. Giant skeleton finds have not made the local/national news since the 1950’s for the most part. It seems in most peoples opinion do to the fear that people would question evolution . If anything a de-evolution.
In 2002, National Geographic reported a dozen Cyclops skeletons found in Greece that stood 12-15 1/2 Ft tall. That is 3 humans tall. One eye socket. Giants in history are typically cannibalistic in nature.
The reason why I am bringing up giants will all tie into politics, and word happenings. Look at a basketball hoop and add 5 feet. That tall. Greek Mythology talks about war with cyclops learning they had to bring down by taking out their legs rendering them slow and helpless.
American Giants (Red Hair Giants) where found with Egyptian writing on their tombs have been found in multiple locations.

There she blows! Incredible photographs capture Bardarbunga spewing lava 30 metres into the air during dramatic eruption

By Chris Kitching for MailOnline

This is the moment molten lava spews more than 30 metres into the air during a dramatic volcanic eruption.
Scientists who are monitoring the latest eruption in the 200-year-old Holuhraun lava field, near the Bardarbunga volcano in southeast Iceland, have been treated to quite a show since it began Sunday.
They say the eruption from a fissure just north of the rumbling volcano has not created any ash fall and the seismic activity decreased by almost half on Tuesday, with 300 earthquakes reported over a 12-hour period.
A white plume of steam and gas extends nearly three miles above sea level, and highly dangerous gas levels have been detected around the eruption site where rivers of fire are forming as lava gushes out of a mile-long crack in the ground.
Visitors are being told to equip themselves with gas masks and gas readers.

Thousands of earthquakes have rocked the region around Iceland's largest volcano for weeks amid fears that the airline industry would see a repeat of the 2010 ash cloud crisis.
Iceland’s aviation alert level remains at orange – the second-highest level – because there is currently no ash cloud threat, although that could change, experts warn.
Close-up photos of the gaping fissure, volatile lava fountains and a billowing cloud of steam and gas reveal the raw beauty and brute force of volcanic activity.
Photographer Einar Gudmann, 47, flew through windy weather and a sandstorm to reach the dangerous eruption site to take the images.

Tolkien's Middle-Earth: A Christian World

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was reading an old Saxon poem "The Crist of Cynewulf" when a phrase leapt off the page. "Hail Earendel brightest of angels, over Middle Earth sent to men." Middle Earth is an ancient expression for our world which lies between Heaven and Hell. For years Ronald had been studying languages, inventing his own and making up stories set in a mythical past. Eventually he combined all this material into a world called Middle Earth.

Authors create their work according to their view of the world. Ronald's was a Christian view and his books show it. Christianity appears in the ideas and symbols of his famous trilogy, The Lord of the Rings.

Ronald said, "The gospels contain a fairy-story, or a story of a larger kind which embraces all the essences of fairy-stories." The essence of the gospel and of fairy-tales is a surprising, hopeful turn in all man's despair and sorrow. Joy is the result, a brief glimpse of intense delight springing out of unexpected good news.

When Ronald's good creatures think about good and evil, predestination, history, freewill and grace, mercy, providence, judgment and redemption, they follow their maker's Christian mind. For instance, when an elf says, "But whereas the light perceives the very heart of darkness, its own secret has not been discovered," he echoes the Apostle John who said, "The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." (John 1:5).

Ronald, who lived through both world wars and spent time in the trenches, knew first-hand about light and darkness. His views of light required him to be obedient and he was-- to the point of almost losing the girl he loved. He lost both parents at a young age. Father Francis Morgan took over his upbringing. Observing that sixteen-year-old Ronald was becoming too friendly with Edith Bratt, a nineteen-year-old girl, Father Morgan commanded him to break off the relationship until he turned 21. Ronald obeyed.

Fortunately, Edith forgave him. They married before he went to war. Once, while he was based at Hull, Edith and he were able to spend time together. She danced for him in the woods and this was the inspiration for his tale of Beren and Luthien. He saw himself as Beren, and Edith as Luthien. During the war, he acquired trench fever and had to be sent home to recover.
As is well known, Ronald became a close friend of C. S. Lewis. His wisdom pointed Lewis back to Christianity. The two were founding members of one of history's most famous literary groups: the Inklings.

Ronald had difficulty getting The Lord of the Rings published. The publisher expected to lose money on it. Instead, it was such a success that by Ronald's death on this day, September 2, 1973, he was moderately wealthy. The book has spawned hundreds of imitations which unfortunately do not share its Christian world view.

Martyrs' Remembered in Papua

Martyrs' Remembered in Papua
Martyrs' Day is observed on different days in different countries and in some countries not at all. Often the "martyrs" commemorated are political or military heroes, the sort of deaths we in America remember on Memorial Day. Several martyrs remembered in Papua New Guinea died for Christ.
Beside a road against the bush at Ora Bay in Papua stands a stone altar. The Lord's Supper is celebrated there on this day, Martyrs' Day, September 2d. May Hayman is remembered then.

War had come to the Pacific. The Japanese seized Papua as a staging ground for hostilities against Australia. The outcome was very much in doubt. When it had first become apparent that Papua would be invaded, Bishop Strong of the Anglican Church broadcast a radio message. "Whatever others may do, we cannot leave. . . .If we are fools, we are fools for Christ's sake." All the mission personnel agreed. To abandon the native church at this desperate moment would be to forever lose face. To die would be to win a martyr's crown and show the Papuans that faith was for real.

Brave Bishop Strong narrowly escaped death from the Japanese. Other missionaries lost their lives. Nine months after the Bishop made his speech, mission authorities decided that it was appropriate to evacuate the women staff. They had stood heroically and shown of what stuff they were made. Several were taken to safety in Australia. But nurse Hayman remained.

Early in August 1942 her fiancee, Vivian, was captured after hiding out in the bush for weeks. Determined to meet the needs of his flock he led worship under conditions of great danger. A sorcerer named Embogi betrayed him to the Japanese. Tapiedi, a Christian guide pleaded for Vivian's life and was brained with an ax. Vivian and other Christians, including a six-year-old boy, were beheaded, their corpses cast into the sea.

May Hayman and another nurse escaped into the forest also. After eluding the Japanese for several days they, too, were betrayed by heathen Papuans, anxious to win Japanese favor. The Japanese caged them and tormented them by offering food and then withdrawing it. Three days after their capture, they were murdered beside an open trench and their bodies flung into it. It is at the site of this trench that the stone altar stands.

Embogi became a Christian after the war. As he was awaiting execution, he ordered his people to fetch missionaries. They did. The man who brained Tapiedi also became a Christian. In his newfound faith he opened the doors of a new church in his village of Embi: a church dedicated to Tapiedi. This happy conclusion, recounted in Diana Dewar's All for Christ, shows how the seed of martyrs grows. Martyrs' Day thus represents a day of rejoicing, not sorrow.

Artificial Humans With Microchips & Organs To Be Raised In Farms, Will Replace Animal Testing Within The Next Three Years - Scientists Claim

  • Human farms could be the sign of the futureHuman farms could be the sign of the future
Artificial humans are set to replace the controversial technique of animal testing, scientists have claimed.
The micro-chipped human machines due to be available in three years time will remove the need for experiments that claim the lives of up to 90 million animals each year, according to the Sunday Times.

Artificial organs such as lungs, liver, and kidneys are already being used to test cosmetics, chemicals and drugs.

"If our system is approved by the regulators, then it will close down most of the animal-testing laboratories worldwide," said Uwe Markx – a tissue engineer from Technische Universitat Berlin and founder of TissUse, a firm behind the technology.

Marx anticipated human farms could be made up of hundreds of machines.

Factory-made body parts

Scientists from Harvard University are already developing a five-organ version to test conditions such as asthma.

"We are replacing animal testing right now," said Geraldine Hamilton, senior staff scientist at the university's Wyss Institute.

"These systems allow a much greater understanding of the mechanisms of the human body and give us insights that are not possible with animal studies."

The 'organ farms' will replace routine animal tests as well as complex diabetes experiments on monkeys, but 20% of animal testing will continue on conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and hip-replacement therapy.

More than 4 million animals were used in laboratory testing in Britain last year and 115 million animals worldwide.

The development of human-testing machines with cosmetic companies has been prompted since animal testing was banned on cosmetics in Europe and north America.

Bohemian Nobles Send Bishops a Defiance

The story of the Bohemian/Czech hero, Jan Hus, is one of the most heroic events of the church age.

Bohemian Nobles Send Bishops a Defiance
A full century before the Reformation under Martin Luther made Germany a Protestant nation, a similar movement swept Bohemia. The Bohemian reformation was destined to collapse, however. Its noble leaders, Jan Hus and Jerome of Prague, were burned at the stake after unjust trials before the Council of Constance. Their followers, representing many conflicting interests, could not stick together because of internal squabbles.

The revolution began when Jerome of Prague visited Oxford. He returned to Bohemia carrying the teachings of John Wycliffe. The popular preacher, Jan Hus, picked up these ideas and spread the gospel according to Wycliffe. Like Wycliffe, he took the Bible for his guide and rejected certain teachings that could not be found in Scripture.

The serfs of Bohemia responded with joy, for the Bible seemed to promise a new order of liberty and equality, symbolized by their participation not just of the bread of communion, but also in the wine. Persecuted Christians, such as the Waldenses, embraced Hus' doctrine, for it was as Bible-centered as the followers of Peter Waldo had tried to be. Nobles saw church reform as a means to shake off the grip of the German invaders who ruled Bohemia at that time, and who were still Roman Catholic.
When Hus perished in a pyre of flame with a hymn on his lips, and love for Christ in his heart, the nobles of Bohemia responded with fury. On this day, September 2, 1415, an assembly of Bohemian and Moravian notables sent the Council of Constance a document signed by 500 of their prominent men, declaring they would fight to the last drop of their blood to defend what they saw as the true doctrines of Christ.

Fight they did. They butchered the anti-Hussites that King Wenceslaus packed onto Prague's New Town council. When Pope Martin V launched a crusade against them, Czechs swarmed into national armies for the defense of their homeland. Under the brilliant military leadership of Jan Zizka, they defeated several larger forces. Victorious on the field of battle, they proceeded to slaughter monks and Germans alike and tried to impose their religious views by force of arms. Most of Bohemia fell under their control.

But then the revolution disintegrated. In about twenty years, conflicting ambitions, unfulfilled promises, and lawlessness fragmented the alliance. Frightened by the chaos, much of the upper class returned to the Roman church. Even so, a breakaway church survived. The Unity of the Brethren (Moravians) held true to their beliefs amidst the chaos; and, despite fierce persecution, they refused to be stamped out.

Indian Warrior Oakerhater Followed New Captain

Indian Warrior Oakerhater Followed New Captain
The middle-aged American Indian who rose to speak knew that the eternal happiness of his tribe depended on his faithful witness. He chose words to persuade them. "You all know me," he said and his listeners nodded in agreement. Oakerhater (O-kuh-ha-tah) had led a fierce corps of Cheyenne fighters against the United States Army in the 1860s and distinguished himself as a brave leader.
However, in 1875, he and twenty seven other warriors were arrested as ringleaders of an uprising. Without trial, they were marched to old Ft. Marion military prison in Florida. They might have rotted in jail except for the concern of Captain Richard H. Pratt. Pratt taught them English and educated them. He saw that Oakerhater was a natural leader so he placed him at the head of the Indian self-discipline force. To give the prisoners a sense of worth, he encouraged them to offer lessons in art and archery to tourists.

As a result of Pratt's kindness, Oakerhater and some others converted to Christianity. Four of them decided to study for the ministry. Miss Mary D. Burnham, of the House of the Good Shepherd in Syracuse, New York raised the needed funds. Mrs. Pendleton of Cincinnati paid Oakerhater's share.
Sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York, the four traveled north. When Oakerhater was baptized in the Grace Episcopal Church, Syracuse in 1878, he took the name David Pendleton Oakerhater, in honor of the woman who paid his way. He was ordained a deacon in 1881.
Oakerhater returned to his people and told them, "You remember when I led you out to war I went first, and what I told you was true. Now I have been away to the East and I have learned about another captain, the Lord Jesus Christ, and he is my leader. He goes first, and all he tells me is true."
Until his death on August 31, 1931, Oakerhater worked hard to bring the peace of Christ to his people. He operated schools and missions at great personal cost, overcoming the apathy of churches and government opposition. Guided by his great captain, he never gave up. One of the government's agents wrote, " better example of Christian manhood was to be found."

The Indians respected Oakerhater's faith and nicknamed him "God's Warrior." In 1982, Episcopal Bishops recommended that David be included in the church calendar. Episcopalians remember him on this day, September 1.

Dominique Strauss-Kahning Christine Lagarde

You won't believe the monetary madness that the people at the top, the central bankers, are talking about now...

Dominique Strauss-Kahn on his way down

Remember the former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn, and how they accused him of raping a hotel maid? You’ll recall the basics: Strauss-Kahn was jailed on allegations of rape, and then subsequently released when the allegations proved to be …well, let’s just say, nothing that a prosecutor would want to bring to trial. But the damage was done. Strauss-Kahn, who had ideas that one might qualify as definitely counter to the prevailing financial wisdom, and who had aspirations to run for the French Presidency, had his political career ruined.
Now, it seems, Mm. (or is it Mme.? So hard to tell with her!) Christine Lagarde, current head of the IMF and former Finance Minister of France, has now come into someone’s cross hairs:
The DSKing Of Christine Lagarde: IMF Head Formally Charged In Fraud Probe
The question, of course, for Zero Hedge, and for everyone else, is why Mm or Mme Lagarde should be so summarily Dominique Strauss-Kahned, or, as Zero Hedge puts it, “DSK’d.” For Zero Hedge, it’s the Bernanke Money “paradrop”:
“Regardless of the spin, at this point it’s all over for the first female president of the IMF, whose departure has come with the same facility as her ascent.
“The only question is who and why was angered by her policies over the past three years, and who will be her replacement. And most importantly, is the imminent shift at the top of the IMF indicative of what the CFR pitched yesterday when it proposed that the time has come for Bernanke’s money paradrop. After all, one would need an even more obedient puppet at the head of the monetary fund if such an idiotic plan is to even be able to take off the ground, so to speak.”
The “paradrop” amounts to nothing less than direct central bank-to-consumer money giveaways, in an effort to stimulate the West’s sagging economies by a version of Milton Friedman’s “helicoptor drop” of money:
It Begins: “Central Banks Should Hand Consumers Cash Directly”
In case you missed what the CFR’s Foreign Affairs journal proposed, here it is, in all its stark Keynesian reality:
“In the decades following World War II, Japan’s economy grew so quickly and for so long that experts came to describe it as nothing short of miraculous. During the country’s last big boom, between 1986 and 1991, its economy expanded by nearly $1 trillion. But then, in a story with clear parallels for today, Japan’s asset bubble burst, and its markets went into a deep dive. Government debt ballooned, and annual growth slowed to less than one percent. By 1998, the economy was shrinking.
“That December, a Princeton economics professor named Ben Bernanke argued that central bankers could still turn the country around. Japan was essentially suffering from a deficiency of demand: interest rates were already low, but consumers were not buying, firms were not borrowing, and investors were not betting. It was a self-fulfilling prophesy: pessimism about the economy was preventing a recovery. Bernanke argued that the Bank of Japan needed to act more aggressively and suggested it consider an unconventional approach: give Japanese households cash directly. Consumers could use the new windfalls to spend their way out of the recession, driving up demand and raising prices.
“As Bernanke made clear, the concept was not new: in the 1930s, the British economist John Maynard Keynes proposed burying bottles of bank notes in old coal mines; once unearthed (like gold), the cash would create new wealth and spur spending. The conservative economist Milton Friedman also saw the appeal of direct money transfers, which he likened to dropping cash out of a helicopter. Japan never tried using them, however, and the country’s economy has never fully recovered. Between 1993 and 2003, Japan’s annual growth rates averaged less than one percent.
“Today, most economists agree that like Japan in the late 1990s, the global economy is suffering from insufficient spending, a problem that stems from a larger failure of governance. Central banks, including the U.S. Federal Reserve, have taken aggressive action, consistently lowering interest rates such that today they hover near zero. They have also pumped trillions of dollars’ worth of new money into the financial system. Yet such policies have only fed a damaging cycle of booms and busts, warping incentives and distorting asset prices, and now economic growth is stagnating while inequality gets worse. It’s well past time, then, for U.S. policymakers — as well as their counterparts in other developed countries — to consider a version of Friedman’s helicopter drops. In the short term, such cash transfers could jump-start the economy. Over the long term, they could reduce dependence on the banking system for growth and reverse the trend of rising inequality. The transfers wouldn’t cause damaging inflation, and few doubt that they would work. The only real question is why no government has tried them.”
The reason for this bizarre “solution”? Political gridlock, or, to put the point more bluntly, governments increasingly in thrall to special interests and not genuinely representative of that strange entity called “The People”:
“In theory, governments can boost spending in two ways: through fiscal policies (such as lowering taxes or increasing government spending) or through monetary policies (such as reducing interest rates or increasing the money supply). But over the past few decades, policymakers in many countries have come to rely almost exclusively on the latter. The shift has occurred for a number of reasons. Particularly in the United States, partisan divides over fiscal policy have grown too wide to bridge, as the left and the right have waged bitter fights over whether to increase government spending or cut tax rates. More generally, tax rebates and stimulus packages tend to face greater political hurdles than monetary policy shifts. Presidents and prime ministers need approval from their legislatures to pass a budget; that takes time, and the resulting tax breaks and government investments often benefit powerful constituencies rather than the economy as a whole. Many central banks, by contrast, are politically independent and can cut interest rates with a single conference call. Moreover, there is simply no real consensus about how to use taxes or spending to efficiently stimulate the economy.”
The message? Bypass governments by having central banks deal directly with the people, and thereby shortcircuit the last vestiges of any sort of government or popular oversight of monetary and fiscal policy..
So where does Mm. or Mme. Lagarde fit in? One does not get the impression that she would be the sort of person in the helicopter throwing out bundles of euros or dollars (or, if certain other predictions over the long term come true, D-Marks). So in that sense, Zero Hedge appears to be correct: she is going, because she probably has or had profound misgivings about the wisdom of such a path. Indeed, in a world where popular cynicism about corporate and government corruption have reached all time highs, one wonders if such a “paradrop” would work. Would people really rush out on a buying binge with their newfound money (thus inflating prices and driving more demand)? Or would they squirrel all that liquidity away in the same banking system?
I don’t know about you, but my deepest intuition here is that there is something else at work in the DSKing of Christine Lagarde besides any potential opposition she may or may not have had about a “paradrop.”
A few weeks and months ago, Mm. (or Mme.) Lagarde appeared before the National Press Club (and other venues), and began her remarks in her crisp French-accented English with a bit of… well, let’s be blunt…numerology. It was, to say the least, a disconcerting performance for someone as highly placed and influential to do. A message, perhaps, that at those rarefied levels there are other factors of occulted synchronicity and design operating of which we are scarcely aware, but that some of us have long guessed at and suggested. One of those “strange syncrhonicities”, as I suggested in my book Babylon’s Banksters, was the bizarre fact that every great depression in American economic history occurred more or less concurrently with the astrological phenomenon known as a “Grand Cross.”
And perhaps that was what really torpedoed Lagarde, for what she was perhaps suggesting was that there were profound connections between what you and I would call “esoteric practice,” and the occulted world of high finance and banking. Perhaps Ms. Lagarde knows that, if one is in a certain phase of a naturally occurring cycle, then no amount of Keynesian tinkering will reverse the overall trend; at best, it can only exacerbate  or ameliorate it. Perhaps, in intimating strange esoteric connections out of the bag, she was revealing secrets that “they” do not wish revealed.
High Octane Speculation? Absolutely! Because I don’t think any conventional form of financial analysis – including that which does not account for hidden systems of finance, vast black budgets, and the role of intelligence agencies in banking, not to mention the more deeply rooted cosmic connections – can cut it any longer. And she may have been trying, in her own inscrutable way, to let everyone know that.

True Detective Season 1 – Esoteric Analysis

The tree of life, the family tree of the Tuttles.
The tree of life, the family tree of the Tuttles.

By: Jay

The first season of True Detective captivated the viewing public this year, topped only by Breaking Bad in attention and critical praise.  While the Internet is rife with theories and analysis, few have succeeded in plumbing the depths of the story in its proper fullness.  While Vigilant Citizen did produce an adequate overall analysis, several important points were missed relating to specific religious symbolism, as well as the numerous philosophical references given by Rust Cohle (played by Matthew McConaughey).  In this analysis I will give the full significance of the first season of True Detective, which ranks as one of the most revealing films of the occult underground since Eyes Wide Shut.

The opening sequence lays out a heavy dose of symbolism that cues the viewer into the dark meaning of the series as a whole: we see key images such as backwoods evangelical revival, strippers, the emblematic tree, a playground, several butts, a black eye and telephone imposed over a child’s head.  The meaning of the entire series is thus not merely the conflict between Rust and Marty in their personal lives, or the elite Satanic rituals, but the impact of the spiritual degeneration that has occurred over just 17 years, from 1995 to 2012.  In other words, the spiritual effect that the infernal powers have brought about over just the last 20 years have resulted in a massive decline in the moral status of American society as a whole.  True Detective is therefore a survey of that degeneration and demonism, juxtaposing what appears as a grotesque, Southern Gothic backwoods existence ruled by an older bloodline (the Tuttles), with the so-called “normal” American family of Marty Hart.
Cohle sketches out the first ritual murder.
Cohle sketches out the first ritual murder.
As the series begins, we see an offering of a dead girl in a prostrate pose praying before a tree, wearing a crown of twigs and marked with a spiral symbol.  Detective Rust Cohle is immediately aware of the ritual connotations of the killing, noting the “meta-psychotic” nature of the crime.  Educated readers will recognize the “meta” prefix as referencing notions like metaphysics and meta-narrative. As I’ve detailed before with Spielberg films and Philip K. Dick works, meta-narrative is associated with this higher level discourse, as is found in “twilight language.”  I wrote:

The black eye.
The black eye.
“In semiotics, particularly in Plato’s Sophist, simulacrum is intended to fool the viewer into thinking the copy is the real thing.  The copy takes on a life of its own, yet viewed in scale it would clearly appear that the copy is not real.  This is a perfect analogy for the nature of film itself, as well as the role of the director.  The writer and/or film director is creating a simulacra of the real world with models and pictures, piecing and placing them together in a certain way, just as Roy does with the model train and city he has built. One may think of the simulated beings in Blade Runner or the simulated world of The Matrix here. Spielberg has mastered this art of simulation, and is presenting a simulated reality world – that of UFO-invaded America that is intended to produce a certain effect in the population.  Can this be taken to a larger scale, to which Spielberg and the director himself is a “toy” of the larger, galactic forces or entities of the cosmos?  Are we a Greek scale of being, being “played” and “directed” by the celestial hierarchy?”
Lots of butts.
Lots of butts.
What is applied to the “director” here applies to the thinking of the “meta-psychotic,” who sees a direct connect between his victims and ritual items as copies of the real items.  In the same vein, the notion between “twilight language” is the writing of a script with reality by higher celestial entities, be they angelic or demonic.  Here, the Tuttles are practitioners of “old time religion” – a primal form of voodoo and ritual magic.  Mystical toponomy also comes into play, as Louisiana is the setting for the series, where the Tuttle bloodline has long held sway, having combined their beliefs with the indigenous Santeria and vodoun superstitions.  Cohle immediately senses this, functioning as the series’ prophet/priest, having himself spent years in narcotics enforcement, as well as losing his daughter, resulting in his “touching the darkness.”  A committed nihilist at the beginning, Cohle espouses the very worldview of the Satanic elite – a Nieztschean eugenics stance, combined with eternal return, where materialistic chaos returns to its beginning in endless spirals, associating Cohle’s own mind with the recurring spiral symbolism in the series.  Humans are “sentient meat” that happened to develop the “mirror” of consciousness accidentally, and ever since, man is engaged in a perpetual self-delusion of convincing himself he is a “person” with meaning.  Cohle the philosopher scoffs at these notions, having immersed himself in so many years of battling the darkness.  Nietzsche famously said, “And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you,” which perfectly describes Cohle.

Yemen Christian Burned to Death for Her Faith

Those who would follow Jesus Christ in other countries and cultures risk their lives every day...

NazeeraYEMEN (Morning Star News) On the morning of June 9 in southern Yemen, Saeed woke to the sound of screaming. He shot out of bed, pushed panicked family members aside and saw his wife stumbling out of their kitchen, engulfed in flames.

His wife, Nazeera, had been preparing breakfast at about 9 a.m. when she poured liquid from a cooking oil bottle into a hot pan. The liquid flashed, and the bottle exploded. While her four children watched, screaming, Nazeera was being burned alive.

“I rushed out of the room,” Saeed (full name undisclosed for security reasons) told Morning Star News, weeping. “I couldn’t even speak to ask her what happened. All I could think about was putting the fire out and then getting her to the hospital. But my 16-year-old son, he couldn’t stop himself and held on to her, hugging her while she was burning. He got hurt, and I had to pull him away from her.”
About two weeks later, Nazeera, 33, died as a result of her burns. When Saeed returned to his home in a village (undisclosed for security reasons) after her death, a relative told him the unthinkable – members of both his family and hers had taken the vegetable oil out of the bottle and replaced it with gasoline. Saeed knew the reason – many years ago, the two had become Christians and refused to return to Islam.

After living in hiding in Yemen for several months, Saeed was able to flee to the relative safety of another country, he told Morning Star News.

Before the attack, Saeed and his wife had already decided to flee their families and the 99 percent Muslim country on the Arabian Peninsula. They got their travel papers two days before the sabotaged bottle exploded.

Ebola becoming harder to treat —US experts: rapid mutation could “render treatment and vaccines ineffective”

It would seem treatments are already ineffective...

Posted by
Ebola mutations
August 2014 AFRICA - As countries across the world battle to contain the spreads of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), the killer ailment appears to be devising means of circumventing efforts to stop it, researchers have said. Experts claim that the virus is “rapidly and continually mutating, making it harder to diagnose and treat.” This is just as former President Olusegun Obasanjo declared, on Saturday, that the index case, Patrick Sawyer, in a “devilish” connivance with some Liberian authorities, intentionally brought the disease to Nigeria. He also noted that the disease, which he said had become a global problem, had been taking a toll on Nigeria’s economy, charging the Federal Government to partner the World Health Organization (WHO), European Union (EU) and government of America in containing the virus. Sunday Tribune’s finding showed that result of a research by a team of American scientists indicates that the initial patients diagnosed with the virus in Sierra Leone revealed almost 400 genetic modifications, concluding that this could render current treatment ineffective and put vaccines that are being worked on for its cure in danger. According to reports, the team of researchers, under the Broad Institute in Massachusetts and Harvard University, analyzed more than 99 Ebola virus genomes which were collected from 78 patients diagnosed with the disease in Sierra Leona in the first 24 days of the current outbreak. Dr Pardis Sabeti, a senior associate member at the Broad Institute and an associate professor at Harvard University, who was among leaders of the research, said “by making the data immediately available to the community, we hope to accelerate response efforts.
“Upon releasing our first batch of Ebola sequences in June, some of the world’s leading epidemic specialists contacted us, and many of them are now also actively working on the data. We were honored and encouraged. A spirit of international and multidisciplinary collaboration is needed to quickly shed light on the ongoing outbreak.” According to Daily Mail, the researchers’ findings, “reported in the journal, Science, could have important implications for rapid field diagnostic tests. “The team found more than 300 genetic changes that make the 2014 Ebola virus genomes distinct from the viral genomes tied to previous Ebola outbreaks. “They also found variations in the genome sequence indicating that, from the samples analyzed, the outbreak started from a single introduction into humans, subsequently spreading from person to person over many months. “To accelerate response efforts, the research team released the full-length sequences on the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)’s DNA sequence database, in advance of publication. This means the data is available to the global scientific community.”
He advised Nigerians to brace up by tackling the economic effects of the disease in the country’ urging them to be aggressive with precautionary measures against the disease, since there was no cure yet. Obasanjo said that some Liberian authorities knew of the contagious and deadly illness in Sawyer and allowed him to visit Nigeria. “Ebola is taking economic toll. How do we handle people that are economically affected; not those that are dead or ill? The economic effect has started. How do we reduce, recoup the economic cost of Ebola on communities, nations and the West African region? “When HIV came, they said don’t talk about it. Now, it is Ebola and Ebola is even talking about HIV. We should be doing whatever we can and that is being aggressive in taking precautionary measures to prevent it. “So, it is devilish enough that Patrick Sawyer, in connivance with some authorities from his country, allowed the visit because they know he had it; and he came to Nigeria,” he said. He also called on the world’s pharmaceutical giants to intensify research efforts towards providing either vaccine or curative drugs for the virus. –Tribune
