The Space Scrapbook: German-US Cooperations Signs Agreement For "Dream Chaser" To Chase…Space Junk (That's Actually Satellites)

Well... while we've been on the subject of space news the past couple of days, here's yet another very strange one to ponder in the context of the past two days' blogs.  There's a meme present in this article that we've encountered in last Sunday's blog, and again in yesterday's blog. Notably, here the meme is repeated in yet a third source, and one that is "all business", so to speak:

Sierra Nevada Corporation and the German Aerospace Center Announce New Dream Chaser® Program Cooperation

First, the deal appears straightforward enough:

"Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC’s) Space Systems and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) announce the signing of a new Dream Chaser® program cooperation during the U.S. German Aerospace Roundtable (UGART) at the 31st annual Space Symposium hosted by the Space Foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado."

Nothing unusual here other then the usual talk and agreements for international space cooperation, this time between the German government and an American company. Nothing to see hear, move along... right?

Wrong.

The meme occurs in the interesting context of following two paragraphs:

"The cooperation, which was entered into today, builds upon the successful one-year Dream Chaser technical agreement signed in 2013. The new agreement, which extends through 2017, will continue the valuable developmental work completed while identifying new and advanced technologies to pursue in order to further advance the crewed and uncrewed Dream Chaser spacecraft as a flexible low-Earth orbit (LEO) space transportation system for a variety of missions and customers. One of the cooperative activities completed this year was the Dream Chaser for European Utilization (DC4EU) study performed by SNC, OHB Systems AG (OHB) and DLR.
“'We are pleased to continue to work together with SNC as part of their Dream Chaser team,' said Prof. Jan Woerner, chairman of the executive board of DLR. 'We recognize the significant value of the Dream Chaser, especially for LEO and we look forward to working together for new applications. The versatility of the Dream Chaser – crewed or uncrewed - allows for multiple applications such as transportation of cargo and humans as well as direct use for activities such as removing space debris.'" (All emphases added)

Now, recall the original context from Sunday's blog where we first encountered this reference to "space junk," the Russians claimed that they have discovered a group of spy satellites disguised as "space debris" which, they said in an unusual choice of words, had a "state affiliation." As I wrote in Sunday's blog, the choice of words is, if anything, highly unusual. If they were the definite assets of a state, then why not simply say that? "These spy-satellites-cum-space-junk" belong to an unnamed nation." But no, they are "state affiliated." So what's the affiliation? corporate? religious? a political institution or "stateless" political party?

NASA’s Plasma Rocket… and a Problem Posed by Dr. Paul Laviolette

NASA has released details about a plasma rocket project that has the potential to take missions to Mars not in months, but in approximately forty days. But this story has a hidden side, as we shall see in a moment. Here's the story as recounted, interestingly enough, by RT:

Mars in 39 days? US company wins NASA grant to try & reach Red Planet

As noted, this mircowave heated plasma rocket is not for launch, but for use in propelling objects already in space:

A US company may have the solution to get humans to Mars in just over a month. They have been given a grant by NASA to try and achieve this. The space agency is pinning its hopes on the Vasimr rocket, which aims to reach the Red Planet in a mere 39 days.
The Ad Astra Rocket company from Webster, Texas, awarded the contract by NASA, is located just a stone’s throw from the Johnson Space Center. The CEO, Franklin Chang-Diaz, who is a former astronaut and flew on seven space shuttle missions, says the new rocket engine has the potential to be revolutionary.

The interesting thing here is, of course, not only that the idea has been around for quite some time (leading one to suspect that the technology already exists, as do other propulsion systems, such as ion propulsion, already in use by NASA [See Crazy Engineering: Ion Propulsion for the Dawn Mission]), but that if one knows certain books published in the alternative field, the "news" appears not so much as "news" but rather as a controlled release of information. For example, the scientist Dr. Paul LaViollette published a book Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion(available on this website's webstore), in which he details a number of alternative propulsion technologies, one of them, utilizing microwave soliton effect, could be used not only for propulsion but for launch and lift capability. This technology was an idea around in the 1950s, and if LaViollette's are to be creditied, was made to work sometime in the early 1960s. And this is just one of the many ideas for alternative propulsion that he details in his important book.

More importantly, as I've indicated in numerous blogs, NASA's Dr. Harold "Sonny" White is spearheading a project to create the experiments to test the feasibility of warp drive, and DARPA has made warp capability a goal for the USA within 100 years.

So what's going on with this story about plasma drives and missions to Mars taking only days?

The Space Weaponization Scrapbook: Boeing's Force Field Patent

Two days ago I blogged about the continued coverage of the asteroid threat meme, the plans to construct a Hyper Velocity Asteroid Impact Vehicle, and the increasing evidence that the affidavit of Dr. Carol Rosin - the von Braun-Rosian affidavit - is being corroborated. In that blog I pointed out that Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev, shortly before the Chelyabinsk meteor incident, had called for the construction of an asteroid defense system, one utilizing thermonuclear weapons and "other" systems, which was left unqualified.

We may, however, have some indicator of what some of those "other" systems may be, in this article,and patent shared by Mr. A.O.(and many others):

You'll note that this patent is fairly recent, dated to last month of this year. And its appearance publicly is itself significant, for most nations, including the United States, have national security provisions for patents: those which are deemed significant to impact the national security of whatever state in which a patent is taken out, seldom appear publicly until the technology has been secretly perfected.

As the patent and article indicate, the method is to attenuate or weaken the shockwaves of impacts, not to deflect or disintegrate actual debris itself, a kind of "bug zapper" scaled up to enormous proportions. And that's the point: scale the method up, and one might have a means of deflecting, or at least mitigating, the effects of large impacts, from bombs, or - to let the imagination really run wild - asteroids.

And with that last high octane speculative possibility, we're chin to chin with Mr. Medvedev's "other" methods of asteroid defense possibilities. Significant too, I suspect, is the timing of Boeing's patent within the same time frame as the announcement of studies for the possibility of a hyper-velocity asteroid impact vehicle, and the announcement also of the ongoing plans to standardize procedures (and presumably equipment) in the NASA-Roscosmos American-Russian space cooperation.
Interesting too is the fact that such fields were being talked about since the days of Nikola Tesla, and intriguingly, there is documentation from World War Two - a document that American intelligence officers rated as "fantasy" at the time - of German prisoners recounting stories of such fields disintegrating one or two Allied bombers during tests under operational conditions. Fantasy? At that time, very probably. But the idea is there, and now, a patent is there.

And with enough covert money invested over a prolonged period of time, we are probably looking at the public face of much deeper, fantastic, capabilities.

The Rosin-Von Braun Affidavit a Step Closer?

I've referred to this "prediction" by the late Wehrner VonBraun who was the head of the Apollo Moon program for NASA until the first official moon landing in 1969.  I have continued to put this out there for the simple reason that it's been totally accurate up to this point.  And the finish of the prophecy, well, you have to read that for yourself....

This article is of great interest, because it is a bit of confirmation that the plan, as outlined by Dr. von Braun to Dr. Rosin during their period of mutual employment at Fairchild Industries, is going forward, more or less, on schedule.

For those of you who don't know what the Rosin-von Braun affidavit is, a bit of a review is in order. According to Dr. Rosin, during his final days, Dr. von Braun outlined to her a basic staged timetable of reasons that would be advanced for the weaponization of space. First, he said, the Communist-Soviet bloc would be the reason offered. Indeed, as events turned out, Ronald Reagan's famous Star Wars Strategic Defense Initiative program made public the USA's quest for anti-missile space-based defense systems since the 1950s. As many opined at the time however, basing x-ray and gamma-ray lasers in space might be construed as much as strategic offensive weaponry as defensive. Next, said von Braun, would be :"terrorists," after that, would come "nations of concern," such as Iran and North Korea. Indeed, again, the basic progress would seem to have been confirmed by 9/11 and the events following, and indeed, Iran is often cited as the reason for the American deployment of a missile defense system to Europe. Then, said von Braun, would come asteroids, and then finally, an extra-terrestrial threat.

As I've noted before, we seem to be entering the "asteroid phase" of the affidavit, as there are numerous television programs emphasizing the threat, and readers here will recall that Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev called for an asteroid defense system shortly before the Chelyabinsk meteor incident. Curiously, Medvedev also called for the use of nuclear and thermonuclear and "other" systems to blow up asteroids, leaving open the question of just what he meant by "other" weapons platforms.

Well, now it seems that a Danish company is working on a nuclear weapons delivery platform, at least according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail:

Real life Armageddon! Spacecraft carrying nuclear explosives could launch by the end of the decade to save Earth from asteroids

The article is crucial in several respects, not the least of which is in its reminder that the danger of asteroid impacts is very real. And that means, like it or not, that the necessity to develop weapons platforms that can deliver weapons of mass destruction to targets in deep space is also very real. The percentages may be small, perhaps even statistically improbable. But who wants to take the risk of not defending against them.

While Swords Rattle Over Ukraine, Russia and U.S. to Cooperate on a New Space Station

So what's wrong with this picture?  The U.S. is ready to go to war with Russia (or at least that's what mainstream news is telling us) over the Ukraine, but is also publicly planning not only a new joint-venture space station, but new standards agreed on by both countries for engineering standards on all space craft so their parts will be inter-changeable.  So which story is the lie?  The space station cooperation, or the desire to go to war over the poor Ukrainians?  They can't both be true, can they?

 For anyone following the story of Russian-American relations lately, one would have to be almost wilfully blind or ignorant not to see them. Here's the story, as reported by RT:

Russia & US agree to build new space station after ISS, work on joint Mars project

Note that Roscosmos head, Igor Komarov, gave a press conference at the center of the Russian space program, the Baikonur Cosmodrome, and stated that not only would the USA and Russia be cooperating on the construction of a new space station when the current one is retired, but even more importantly, that:

"The two agencies will be unifying their standards and systems of manned space programs, according to Komarov. “This is very important to future missions and stations.”
(Emphasis in the original).

NASA head James Bolden, according to the article, not only corroborated this news, but indicated that the area of cooperation and adopting a uniform standard protocols of missions had specific things in mind:

"Roscosmos and NASA are working with each other and other partners on a global roadmap of space exploration, Bolden said. “Our area of cooperation will be Mars. We are discussing how best to use the resources, the finance, we are setting time frames and distributing efforts in order to avoid duplication.”
(Emphasis in the original)

Additionally, the article goes on to note that Bolden indicated the expansion of the private exploration - read commercialization - of space is also on the long-term NASA agenda.

So what are we possibly looking at here, in terms of the High Octane Speculation of the day?

March 3, 2015: US Military Satellite Explodes in a Strange Context

This one happened a couple of weeks ago, but in the context of some other stories, and rising tensions between the US and its satrapies, and the BRICSA bloc, especially Russia (and China), this story may be hugely important.

Now, curiously, the Daily Telegraph is silent about exactly where the satellite was above the surface of the Earth when it had its sudden "heat spike," and that omission, to my mind, raises some red flags. Of course, sudden heat spikes in satellites, especially old ones, might occur if there was some sort of equipment malfunction, and for the moment, that is more or less what we're being carefully guided to believe. But then there was this article that was shared with me by a number of readers here:

Now, note that the date of the explosion of the satellite was March 3, and that the dates of the articles concerning China's x-ray pulse weapon were Feb 14th and Feb 4th respectively. Now, set that aside for the moment, and ponder this article:

Britain cites option of cutting Russia from SWIFT banking

(I guess we now know who's really calling the shots at SWIFT).
And finally, this:

ECB Warns UK: Excluding Russia From SWIFT "Could Undermine Confidence In The Whole System"

Those last two articles were dated Feb 25thm and 26th respectively.

Let us also recall, in this context, Mr. Xi Jinping's recent statements that China backs Russia solidly in its position on the Ukraine crisis. Now add it all up, and an intriguing, and to my mind highly suggestive, sequence of events emerges:

1. There is an article on China's new x-ray pulse weapon on Feb 4th;
2. This is followed by another, more in depth article in Feb 14th;
3. On February 25th, Great Britain warns Russia that it might press to remove Russian access from the SWIFT system of international financial clearing;
4. On February 26th, the European Central Bank in Frankfurt-am-Main warns Britain that that removing Russian access to SWIFT could "undermine confidence in the whole system" (raising questions as to why that should even be the case); and then, finally,
5. On March 3, 2015, an obsolescent US military weather satellite mysteriously "heats up" and then explodes.

Understanding the Lunar Wave - The Moon Is An Illusion

I strongly support the honesty and video work of Crrow, as he has consistently avoided being sensationalist in his discoveries.  This is his theory regarding some of the things he has caught on camera.  I don't agree with the extended title that says "No One Goes Beyond Low-Earth Orbit".  I believe he has instead caught evidence of a "Breakaway Civilization", that is advanced technology that a small group of humanity controls at this time, and technology that will likely be used to support a great deception (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) that is to come in the near future.  That being said, Crrow's view is interesting, and the facts do point out clearly something is wrong with what we have been taught scientifically.  So dive in and see what you think...

When The World Is Told We Are Not Alone – Whose Explanation About “Them” Will You Believe?

There's a momentum growing for "disclosure", started largely by the joint conferences being held around the world with both Jesuit astronomers representing the Vatican working with NASA.  The real question for Christians is how will they respond when this happens?

There is no doubt about it, as we move through 2015 and beyond the human race inches closer and closer to the realization that we are not alone in the universe, and never have been.  Major organizations have started preparing how to break the news to the world; whether it be microbial life or intelligent extraterrestrial life, the planning has begun.

NASA for example, recently gathered scientists, philosophers, and theologians from around the world to discuss how the announcement would be made.  Multiple congressional hearings have already taken place on the subject and many people who work in the “industry” are starting to voice their excitement. Mike Gold  is one of them, for example. He is the Director of Operations for Bigelow Aerospace . In the United States alone, at least half of all Americans say that we’re not alone in the universe. Fifty percent of Americans already believe that there is some form of life on other planets, while only seventeen percent think that there isn’t. A quarter of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrial visitors have already come to Earth and have been doing so for a long time. Adding more fuel to the flame is the fact that we have hundreds of high ranking military and government personnel, academicians, and more testifying to the fact that we are not alone, and that governments have known for decades.  Bottom line, the evidence is there.

The Black Knight Satellite Stages a Comeback - But Why Now?

Many believed the "Black Knight" polar orbiting satellite to have been an invention of the transplanted Nazis in South America after WWII.  Others like to take the alien claim.  Still others talk of a breakaway civilization. a small, wealthy group within the human race who have possession of such advanced technology that when we encounter it, we think we are seeing something supernatural or otherworldly.  What's the truth?  You decide...

Is this the Black Knight satellite, or simply a large Stealth aircraft flying in low-space orbit?

 

I have to admit, when many of you sent me this story, I was intrigued, because the whole subject of the Black Knight satellite is one of those stories that does not get much attention, but whose significance, if true, is baffling indeed. For those who don't know this bit of contemporary mythology, a brief "bring-me-up-to-speed" might be in order.

During the 1950s, as the space race between the USSR and USA was heating up, a mythology began to appear: there was, it was alleged, an object  - some versions of the story put it at an approximate weight of fifteen tons, well beyond the publicly known launch capabilities either of the Soviet Union or the United States - was in polar orbit around planet Earth. This object was clearly artificial, and moreover, there were two problems: (1) fifteen tons well exceeded the launch capabilities of either the USSR(which at that time clearly led the USA in public and visible space technologies), and (2) the object was in a polar orbit, which exceeded the technological capabilities of either nation to achieve. Indeed, at its first discovery, the object exceeded the launch capabilities of either nation to put into any kind of orbit, much less a polar one. This, of course, presented a conundrum, for if the story was true, then this left but two real possibilities: someone else from or on Earth had launched it (leaving the questions of who, when, and how hovering disturbingly over the story), or the object was not from Earth at all. Either way, one had a "hidden player" on the space scene. Dubbed "The Black Knight" satellite, the story became part of the fringe lore of the space age, informing to some extent the science fiction work of well-known and engaging sci-fi author Philip K. Dick.  Then the story more or less faded, kept alive on the edges of the science fiction and space-age "alternative research" communities, but by and large forgotten even to many of them.

Until now, when, curiously, the story has made something of a come-back, prompting once again the question "why now"?

Black Knight Satellite Interest Mysteriously Increasing

As this article makes clear, there is a mystery here, and it won't go away:

"In 1899, Nikola Tesla picked up unusual signals from an unknown source on his high-voltage receiver in Colorado Springs which he speculated were “intelligently controlled signals” that originated “from another world.” Astronomers have reported picking up similar radio signals since the 1930s and Dr. Lincoln La Paz of the University of New Mexico sighted the possible source in Earth orbit in1953. The U.S. Department of Defense commissioned astronomer Clyde Tombaugh to look for it. A famous article about the Black Knight was published in both the St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner on May 14th 1954. At that time, there were no man-made objects in Earth orbit … that we know of. 

"That changed in 1957 when the USSR launched Sputnik 1. It was reported that an object believed to be the Black Knight Satellite was “shadowing” Sputnik 1. When Sputnik 2 was launched a month later, Dr. Luis Corralos of the Communications Ministry in Venezuela photographed it again shadowing the satellite. In 1960, a Grumman Aircraft Corporation tracking camera took a picture of it but the company kept its findings secret. In 1963, U.S. astronaut Gordon Cooper reported seeing a UFO like the Black Knight in front of his capsule. A photo taken during a space shuttle mission in 1998 (seen in the videos) shows an object many believe is the Black Knight and a 2014 video feed from the ISS shows a similar object."

And there's more curiosity about the object, including its strange association to sci-fi author Philip K. Dick:

As the second article makes even more clear, there was an abundance of strange stuff associated with the satellite:

"On September 3, 1960, a camera at the Grumman Aircraft Corp. Long Island factory managed to capture an image of the object.  It was said to be a redish-pink glowing object moving in an east-to-west orbit, which is, apparently, the opposite of most other man-made satellites, and which doesn’t fit the polar orbit reported by Time.  Subsequent to this, astronaut Gordon Cooper Jr. allegedly caught a first-hand glimpse of the object during his 22-orbit Mercury-Atlas 9 flight, which was the final of the Mercury Program missions.  Cooper claimed that it was an object much larger than any other man-made satellite of the time, and that it glowed a neon green. 

"Cooper, who passed away in 2004, had long been sympathetic to the UFOlogy movement and had been vocal about not only the reality of extraterrestrial life, but also the idea that the US government had been and continues to be complicit in a cover-up of contact with such. 

"Then in 1998, during NASA mission STS-88 to the ISS, flown by the Space Shuttle Endeavour, images were captured of an unidentified object in orbit; an object that a great many people believe is the ever elusive Black Knight satellite. 

"Following Time’s publication, John Keel detailed the discovery in his book Disneyland of the Gods (1988), wherein he noted that around the same time that Dark Fence detected this mysterious object, ground based HAM operators were reporting having received strange radio signals.  According to Keel, one such HAM operator received and decoded a signal and claimed that the message corresponded to a star chart, plotted from Earth 13,000 years ago, and focused on a star system called Epsilon Boötis…and this is where things get really interesting."

What is to be noted here is that both Venezuelan and American scientists (and one can only presume, the Russians as well), took photographs of the satellite, which are to this day been kept secret, or at least, never surfaced.
But there's more, and it's here our own high octane speculations enter the picture. Consider the end of the second article:

"Here’s the thing about all of this.  The above may seem like a lot of conjecture and supposition, and perhaps some of it is – surely it’s a stretch to say that Philip K. Dick was a harbinger of tidings from an alien species using a Bracewell probe – but many of the facts are confirmed.  Black Knight does seem to exist, and while noting that certain governments do have a penchant for secret technology and clandestine operations, its origin and purpose seems to defy explanation.  If we are able to accept the stories and theories held therein, and the, at times tenuous, connections between them, can we accept that there’s a 13,000 year old alien probe orbiting our planet, sending literary inspiration to select people via the gold necklaces of attractive delivery people?"

.,. and while we're on the subject of space commericalization, "space Bilderbergers," astronauts and cosmonauts in Jedi Knights costumery, Death Stars, and Mars, ponder this article that was shared by Mr. S.D. carefully:

Interesting Plausibility that Elon Musk Could Become a Trillionaire with a City on Mars by 2040

Mr. Musk clearly wants to be on Mars, permanently, and soon. But I hope you caught something that caught my eye when I read this article, and weren't distracted by diagrams of big rocket boosters, stories of reusable boosters, building and testing craft for the journey to Mars, and so on. What really caught my eye was one rather short little statement:

"Elon Musk and his new investors (Google and Fidelity) were planning to create a lower altitude network of thousands of satellites for high speed internet service. The plan is to create a global internet service that could help fund the city on Mars. Spacex satellite network would have up to 4000 smaller mass produced satellites that would fly at about 700 kilometers for faster response and communication speeds."

Now, doing a little dot-connecting here, this means that Google, with all its ties to the NSA, and Fidelity, are major stakeholders in Mr Musk's space enterprises, and therefore, major stakeholders in his Mars ambitions. And thus, an implication (and some of our trademark high octane speculation) immediately follows. Assume, for a moment, that Mr. Musk and his corporation are successful in getting to Mars, and establishing a permanent human colony there. What will they find or discover? Answer: we probably won't be told, other than in very vague terms, for two very simple reasons: (1) it will become somehow a proprietary secret of the corporation, and (2) because of the NSA's indirect involvement via Google, for "national security" reasons. Corporate and government security is a pretty thick veil to pierce.

But there is, in my high octane speculative opinion, and even more intriguing implication in the above statement, and that is the fact that Fidelity is a major stakeholder in Musk's space enterprises. Fidelity is, of course, one of America's and the world's largest investment firms; mutual funds, financial management, retirement investments, and so on, are its stock in trade.

But so is something else: insurance, which is to say, risk reduction. This is a clear sign, in other words, that we are looking at the commercialization of space right now, for real, and in addition to this, we're looking at the standard Veneto-Western model of investment and risk management at work: the bankrollers and insurers get together to fund a risky project: the funding of a few galleys to go trade for some spices in the risky waters of the eastern Mediterranean, for a stake in the profits of what's brought back, but should the whole thing run afoul of solar storms or intergalactic Saracens, there's always the insurance to fall back on...

And that too, raises its own problematic implications. Insurance companies have to be large enough to insure such a venture. A one trillion dollar policy, in case something goes wrong, implies a financial system with hidden financial resources far beyond what has been publicly disclosed (and that brings us right back to one of my favorite hypotheses, namely, that such a system has secretly been in place at least since 1947, if not shortly before). And underwriting policies for something this risky implies yet something else: actuarial tables. How would one go about compiling the actuarial tables for such a venture. Large and powerful insurance firms like Lloyds or Fidelity obvious have the wherewithal to hire the mathematicians to compile and model such things, but ultimately, actuarial tables are compiled from a long history of actual results and tested against them.
So the question becomes, where did that putative historical database come from...? And with that, we're back at Google, and the NSA... It does make one wonder....

Things That Make You Go Hmmm…: NASA’S New Space Station Poster

Now, normally I don't bother people with reading tea leaves of this sort, but today, I have to, because this one is so strange, and appears within days of other strange space news, that one begins to wonder. The tea leaves in question, which remain to be read, were sent by so many of you it isn't funny. It's safe to say, that this little story merited some of the highest numbers of people sending it to me as an article as I've seen in the nearly six years, now, since Daniel and I upgraded this website. The tea leaves in question are NASA's new space station mission poster, and this one, it seems, is either an exercise in deliberate humor, or messages are being sent, or perhaps, a bit of both. Here's the article:

Now, as one Mr. K.C. noticed, the composition of this poster has a particular allusion to a well-known Renaissance painting, the School of Athens:


Putting such a composition into the picture where the astronauts and cosmonauts are dressed like the Jedi knights from Star Wars does suggest not only a cosmic conflict, but a cosmological one, with Plato, of course, emphasizing the incorporal universals, and Aristotle the material, corporeal particulars. Interesting, too, this, in the context of Jedi knights and "the Force," George Lucas' thinly disguised version of the Egyptian Ma'at, able to do duty(some would argue) in both poles of the Plato-Aristotle dialectic. So what's the message - if any - here? We've found something cosmologically significant, and it's in space, and humanity gets to play interplanetary space policemen, the visible manifestation of Ma'at in the local celestial neighborhod, enforcing order?

Well, in the light of yesterday's blog about Mr. Medvedev's curious television remarks, one wonders.... indeed, why do we need interplanetary policemen at all? Oh yea... they're nice to have around if you're busily promoting space commercialization... which might invite thieves, robbers, and pirates, in which case, who are the thieves, robbers, and pirates?...and we're back to square one.
But then there's the poster itself, which, when I saw it, raised my eyebrows even more, and most of the people that sent me the article, noticed the same things as well... First, theres the elements of the poster: (1) the astronauts/cosmonauts, (2) dressed as Jedi knights with light sabers, (3) a launching Russian booster, (4) which happens to be launching right next to an image of the Star Wars "Death star," (5) Planet Earth, (6) on the left side, upper left corner, some sort of spacecraft, which looks like an orbital telescope, (7) at the top, the international space station itself, and beneath that, a picture of the Planet Mars.

Now, so far, there are three prominent war/conflict references going on: the cosmonaut-Jedis, the Death Star, and the Planet Mars. Then there's the little blue deltoid logo in the center... the "patch" one may assume, with its own allusions to Mars...

Now, as if this isn't enough for our high octane speculations (don't forget yesterday's little replay of Medvedev), we now have this:

Obama adviser John Podesta's biggest regret: Keeping America in dark about UFOs

It is interesting that when President Bill Clinton assumed office, one of the first things he did was to order his confidant Webster Hubble to look into the UFO issue (and Area 51 as well), and that now, Podesta, with his UFO interest, is working in Hillary's presidential campaign.

So what's going on? We'll, here's my high octane speculation of the day... (It's so high octane that it's not safe to drive with this stuff in the tank): behind and above all the geopolitical wrangles on Earth, something else is going on concerning space, particularly when you look at who the two biggest contestants in the planetary geopolitical dance are: Russia, and the USA. Russia has been giving some rather interesting demonstrations lately, think of the USS Donald Cook, or more recently of the Ukrainian missile that "broke up" in flight, ostensibly due to a malfunction of an old part. Then again, Mr. Rogozin of Russia's space and military air defense also made recent remarks to the effect that Russia knew how to penetrate America's missile defences. And of course, there's the Ukraine. But behind all of this is a NASA poster with Soyuz space capsule blasting off on a Russian booster, with astronauts and cosmonauts wearing Jedi knight costumes, flying past the Death Star, with Mars in the background, and Mr. Medvedev wants the US to talk about ETs, or "we will," and Mr. Podesta regrets no disclosing (or is that really not being able to find the UFO secrets to disclose?)... Any way one slices it, there appears to be a deep story in the background here... and the story concerns "them"... Funny too, that Mr. Medvedev would urge the USA to make disclosure at a time when its moral stock, and worldwide opinion of its trustworthiness is so low, while Mr. Putin's, correspondingly, is rather higher...

Stealth aircraft on the edge of space

Yesterday I blogged about the new Russian-Chinese Universal Credit Rating Group, and the over-all context in which, I believe, it must be viewed, namely, the announcement of the BRICSA development bank last year, and the eventual need for the BRICSA bloc to create a parallel system of international financial clearing. That, as I've observed on numerous occasions, will require in turn the development of space-based communications assets, and the ability to protect them.

No sooner said than done, as these two articles, shared with us by Mr. M.D., and Mr. K.C., attest:

Russia to boost military capabilities in Crimea, Kaliningrad, Arctic

While some of these moves are predictable - for example, the beefing up of Russian defense capabilities in its isolated Kaliningrad oblast(the northern half of the former German province of East Prussia, Kaliningrad being the city of Koenigsberg). This move is predictable and understandable given the American pivot of its bases into Eastern Europe, for Russia is protecting its energy flows, and hence its trade, to Western Europe from potential American interdiction against them. Similarly, beefing up its defenses in the Crimean peninsula and Arctic make sense from the Russian point of view given the context of the rising tide of tensions with the West over the Ukrainian crisis.
But there's one statement in the article that caught Mr. M.D.'s eye, and mine too, and it's this odd statement:

"A new branch of the Russian military, the Aerospace Defense Force, will be formed in 2015, ahead of schedule, through the merger of Air Force and Space Forces."
 

This might be viewed, and doubtless will be viewed in some quarters, as Russian bluff. Except for one significant thing: it comes from high echelons within the Russian general staff and Ministry of Defense. Additionally, Russia and China are currently the only nations with fully independent manned spaceflight capability(at least, in the public sense). And within the context of my hypothesized eventual establishment by the BRICSA bloc of a parallel system of international financial clearing, it makes sense, and could be taken as yet another small indicator that this is and will be the eventual goal. In this context, one should also recall last year's announcement by Russia and China that they will pool their global satellite positioning assets. The creation of an "Aerospace Defense Force" clearly implies the intention to protect space-based communications assets, essential to any modern system of international financial clearing, and, in a nation geographically as large as Russia, domestic clearing as well.

But there's more, and this brings us to the article shared by Mr. K.C.:

Is Russian Mystery Object a Space Weapon?

While the article points out the usual Russian secrecy surrounding its space missions, in the above context of the announcement of the creation of a Russian Aerospace Defense Force, which announcement occurred two months after the launch of the curious object, the likelihood of a satellite-killer weapons test becomes more likely:

"The orbital maneuvers of a mysterious object Russia launched earlier this year have raised concerns that the satellite may be a space weapon of some sort.
"The speculation centers on 'Object 2014-28E,' which Russia lofted along with three military communications satellites in May. The object was originally thought to be space junk, but satellite trackers have watched it perform a number of interesting maneuvers over the past few weeks, the Financial Times reported Monday (Nov. 17).
"Last weekend, for example, 2014-28E apparently met up with the remnants of a rocket stage that helped the object reach orbit. [The Most Destructive Space Weapons Concepts]
"As a result, some space analysts wonder if Object 2014-28E could be part of an anti-satellite program — perhaps a revived version of the Cold War-era "Istrebitel Sputnikov" ("satellite killer") project, which Russian officials have said was retired when the Soviet Union collapsed in the early 1990s."

In other words, my high octane speculation of the day is that this is indeed a satellite weapon, given this year's announcement by the Russians that they intend to create a new military service branch, an "Aerospace Defense Force", a key and necessary step to protect any such system of international financial clearing the BRICSA nations may develop, and essential to the current Russian system of domestic clearing.

NASA Test of Mythical "Microwave Drive" Propulsion System is Successful

I put "mythical" in the title, as modern physics, in their infinite arrogance, refuses to acknowledge such a device, despite the apparently embarrassing fact that it works....

in this particular version from The Houston Space News Examiner, in an article by Mr. Mark Whittington, there’s a significant statement that provides more of a glimpse of what’s going on inside of NASA, and in the context of our recent blogs about Dr. Harold “Sonny” White’s warp drive experiments, perhaps it is a very significant statement. Here’s the article:

NASA successfully tests engine that uses no fuel, violates the laws of physics

Here’s the basics:

“Very quietly, NASA has tested a space drive that does not use propellant and according to the laws of physics should not work, according to a Thursday story in Wired.UK. The problem is that the drive, called the “Cannae Drive” by its inventor Guiddo Fetta, did work in the NASA directed test. If the efficacy of the drive is confirmed, the implications for space travel are profound. It seems that another technology from Star Trek may be about to become reality,.
“The Cannae Drive is apparently based on the work of a British scientist named Roger Shawyer called the EMDrive. It is said to work by bouncing microwaves in an enclosed chamber and thus creating thrust. Despite having built a number of demonstration models, Shawyer has not been able to get anyone interested in his device. Critics reject his relativity explanation for how it works and point out that it violates the conservation of motion.
“However it appears that the Chinese quietly tested their own version of the EMDrive up to about 72 grams of thrust, enough to be a satellite thruster. The test was not widely reported in the West, possibly because few if any people believed it was possible. That seems to have changed thanks of the test of the Cannae Drive.” (Bold and italicized emphasis added)

Now before proceeding, allow me a little high octane speculation on just the boldface and italicized statement, for this is a rather stunning admission in and of itself, because it suggests that the thrust is produced in a kind of “optical” cavity that is completely enclosed, or perhaps like the masing cavity of a maser, “opaque” at one end and semi-permeable at another. Or perhaps completely enclosed – i.e.,, opaque – all the way around. In either case, this suggests that the shape of the cavity is crucial, and if so, its resonance to the microwave frequency or frequencies being used. The idea even recalls, in very loose fashion, the observations of Thomas Townsend Brown, who observed a thrusting motion during his early experiments with Roentgen tubes, though, to be fair, it should be noted that Brown attributed this to the electrical dipole and not to any effect of the X rays being produced.
But now the article goes on to ask the very obvious question, and the answer that NASA gives is somewhat stunning:

“What are the physics behind these devices? NASA’s explanation follows:
“‘Test results indicate that the RF resonant cavity thruster design, which is unique as an electric propulsion device, is producing a force that is not attributable to any classical electromagnetic phenomenon and therefore is potentially demonstrating an interaction with the quantum vacuum virtual plasma.’
“In other words, no one knows for sure.”(Emphases added)

But here we must beg to differ a bit with Mr. Whittington’s comment “In other words, no one knows for sure,” for NASA is proposing an explanation, namely an interaction or coupling between three things: (1) the microwaves being bounced around by (2) the cavity itself (constructed in resonance per our speculations above), and (3) the “quantum vacuum virtual plasma,” or, to put it more familiarly, the zero point energy. Now if you’ve really been following these types of stories, those three things are tantamount to saying “lattice structure in a plasma” and its coupling to the ZPE, which should bring all sorts of stuff to mind, like LANRS (lattice assisted nuclear reactions, or cold fusion), or similar statements by a certain Dr. Ronald Richter to the US Air Force long ago in Argentina (1954 to be exact). Even more to the point, the idea of this type of microwave thruster might even be connected to 1950s experiments with the microwave soliton effect as a propulsion mechanism (detailed in Dr. Paul LaViolette’s excellent book, Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion, available in my webstore). LaViolette’s books is a reminder of the context in which such publicly released statements and experiments should be viewed, namely, a context were substantive work was done decades ago in classified projects.

Spaceship Filmed Firing Thrusters In Front Of Moon

I have great interest in the "secret space program" which consumes billions if not trillions of dollars every year, and it seems more public revelations come every week.  I took a brief sabbatical, but this was too fascinating to pass up...

 

This clip shows what I believe to be a spaceship under intelligent control, in orbit and firing its thrusters/engines in front of the moon - and beyond. I have never seen footage like this and it may be a one of a kind capture. It is a UFO by definition and clearly under intelligent control.

Carbon Nanotubes, Space Elevators and a Possible Hidden Space Story

Here’s a story that I found this past week that I think is another indicator of “something” going on “out there,” that may not be quite the same story as we’re getting “down here,” and while we’ve blogged about this particular technology before, this story comes with an “update.” We might call it “carbon nanotubes” 2.0. But before we get to that possible hidden story and the day’s high octane speculation, first, the article itself:
Japanese company plans to build a functioning space elevator by 2050
There is is, boldly emblazoned in the headline: the Japanese plan to turn the science fiction idea of a “space elevator” into reality in a mere forty or so years:

“Space elevators have long been the realm of science fiction, but the Obayashi Corporation in Japan has now announced that they’re planning to have one up and running in the next 40 years. And, if they’re successful, it could revolutionise space travel – it’s estimated the elevator would be able to take people into space for one percent of the cost of a rocket.
“Although it might sound impossible, a 2012 international study already concluded that space elevators such as this one are scientifically feasible thanks to advances in super-strong carbon nanotubes. “The tensile strength is almost a hundred times stronger than steel cable so it’s possible,” Yoji Ishikawa, a research and development manager at Obayashi, told Matthew Carney from Australia’s ABC.” (Underlined emphases and links in the original; bold and italics emphasis added).

Now, you’ll recall that just last year the Japanese came out with another equally stunning “grand project” idea, namely, to line the equator with solar panels, and beam power back to the Earth in the form of microwaves. You’ll recall that at that time I pointed out that beaming that amount of power back to Earth would most likely “cook” the area around any collection antennae, making the area uninhabitable… to anything. In fact, I pointed out that similar ideas had been studied by the US Air Force in the 1960s. In short, the Japanese were planning, if one read between the lines a bit, to turn the Moon not into a power plant but into a “death star” of sorts. No sooner had I blogged about that story, than a few days later the Chinese called the bluff, and very blatantly proposed turning the Moon into a death star, using similar means. China had called Japan’s bluff.
Now, it’s in that context that I think one should view this current “grand announcement” from Japan. The article points out the current difficulty of carbon nanotubes, at least, as far as we’re being told publicly:

“But the big hurdle is trying to make carbon nanotubes long enough to reach into space, at the moment the Obayashi Corporation admits they can only create nanotubes that are 3 centimetres long. Researchers all over Japan are now working on dramatically extending this length – they even run competitions each year to collaborate on the problem, Carney reports for ABC.“. (Underlined emphasis and links in the original, bold and italics emphasis added)

Obviously, a mere 3 centimeters is a bit short of the 96,000 kilometers of the vision, but it’s a start.
But there would be other possible space uses of such materials, if they can get the bonding problem worked out, and are able to construct much larger objects from such nanotubes. Note that these nanotubes have 100 times the tensile strength of steel, in other words, nanotubes would be able to withstand the tremendous stresses and strains placed on such a “space elevator” that would simply snap steel like a twig….
…or they would be the perfect material for a spaceship designed for long range exploration, their tremendous strength perhaps able to withstand impacts with micro-rocks that could rip through more conventional materials. Couple this technology with “self-repairing” nano-bots programmed to make small repairs automatically, and voila, one has a materials science that is approaching what would be required for long-range manned exploration of space. Add a 3-d printer for the more difficult parts replacements and… you get the idea. Now, once again, the real question is, just how far along in such technologies might “they” be in the black projects world? If you’re like me, you probably suspect they’re farther along than the public statements would allow, perhaps already able to construct much larger objects out of such carbon nanotubes, perhaps even to the point of Mark One versions of self-repairing materials.
There’s also an interesting pattern here, if one considers this story in the light of last years “Lunar Death Star/Microwave “Power Plant” stories, and that is, that it would seem to indicate that Japan is becoming the nation of choice for the western elites to make “announcements” of stories that could, if considered carefully, indicate technological capabilities beyond those in the public record.
