A wave of controversy over a couple of Melbourne University so-called “ethicists” whose article in a prominent journal, argued that killing babies should be permissible has brought the issue of infanticide to the forefront. This story comes on the heels of bringing up former Illinois state Senator Barack Obama’s key role in support for infanticide and his opposition to criminalizing the murder of newborns who survived failed abortions.
The two authors, Francesca Minerva and Alberto Giubilini are afffiliated with universities in both Europe and Austrailia. The paper they released declares, “Abortion is largely accepted even for reasons that do not have anything to do with the fetus’ health,”. The truth is that in most of the world abortion is very restricted. Even in America where it is technically legal, it is passionately opposed and that opposition is growing.
These people are slick too. They are like all liberals and think that if they can define the terms they will win the debate and you know what? They are right. Here’s how they are doing it. They are preferring the term “after-birth abortion” to infanticide. Now personally neither of those things sound good to me, but think of how abortion has been used so much instead of what it really is… murder. Doesn’t abortion sound less provocative? The abortion issue isn’t the only issue where this is raised. It has been raised on the issue of homosexuality being called “gay” and adultery being called “an affair” and terms I could cite here to prove the point.
How did these people get so twisted in their thinking that they could provide statement like the following?
“Merely being human is not in itself a reason for ascribing someone a right to life. Indeed, many humans are not considered subjects of a right to life.”
They state this pointing to current abortions and capital punishments where humans do not have a right to life. This is merely a twisting of the facts. Abortion, though many believe is legal, is still the murder of a human being. Capital punishment is just that punishment, not murder. If someone takes a life maliciously, then that person should be punished by having their own life taken.
Casey Fiano, with the U.S. Based activist group Live Action said, “The fact that they see adoption as something that would cause a mother emotional distress but not the murder of their own child just shows how sick these two people are.”
The team’s paper becomes more and more illogical and a distortion of terms to push forward their utterly reprobate thinking. They state:
“Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life’. We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her. “
People who think like this have such a screwed up moral compass it is a wonder they can find their way around their own homes!
Most of us can understand that this is logically where the abortionist mindset goes. In fact, since they make the case for killing a newborn baby, what will stop them from say increasing the time you can kill your baby to say 2 or 3 years old? How about 5? 10? You see once you enter the area of moral relativism there is no clear line of what is right and wrong. As the Scriptures teach, “Everyone does right in their own eyes”(Proverbs 12:15).
What is so ironic in all of this is the defense of Professor Savulescu, in the British Medical Journal blog, “The goal of the Journal of Medical Ethics is not to present the Truth or promote some one moral view. It is to present well reasoned argument based on widely accepted premises.”
He then continued in an interview with The Daily Telegraph stating:
“This “debate” has been an example of “witch ethics” – a group of people know who the witch is and seek to burn her. It is one of the most dangerous human tendencies we have. It leads to lynching and genocide. Rather than argue and engage, there is a drive is to silence and, in the extreme, kill, based on their own moral certainty. That is not the sort of society we should live in.”
Wait! Hold the phone! He says that people who are ticked off the other humans would think utterly insane thoughts such as pushed forward by these two “ethicists” and that some even have vented their anger with threats (something that this writer does not advocate), that they are somehow advocating one should “kill based on their own moral certainty.” Well now Prof Savulescu, aren’t you guys arguing for killing based on YOUR moral certainty? Isn’t that exactly what you are arguing for? From my vantage point that is exactly what you and these two murder proponents are engaging in.
There was some ray of sanity from one Dr. Trevor Stammers, the director of medical ethics at St Mary’s University College. He said, “If a mother does smother her child with a blanket, we say ‘it’s doesn’t matter, she can get another one,’ is that what we want to happen?” Exactly, this is not what we want to have happen and Prof Savulescu that is the kind of society I want to live in.
The twisted depravity of men and women that advocate the killing of those who should be most precious to them is utterly contemptible. If you read this article and think to yourself, “Well it’s a mother’s right or her decision and it doesn’t effect me”, you should really ponder that a bit. As I asked, where should the killing stop? At age 3? How about someone determines it to be 20 or 30? Maybe full on euthanasia? Impossible you say? Remember that the Terry Schiavo scenario was first put forth in “ethics” journals.
This kind of news should cause a people to fall to their knees and cry out to God for mercy. As the prophet Daniel prayed in Chapter 9, confessing not only his own sins but the sins of his people and asking God to show mercy for His name’s sake, we too should follow his example.

'Anonymous' Hackers Call Religion a 'Sickness,' Declare War on Christianity?

Members claiming to be part of the formless Internet hacker group "Anonymous" took down three church websites on March 2, replacing their main pages with a clip from evolutionary biologist and atheist Richard Dawkins and posting a statement that branded all religion as a "sickness."
"Let us be clear from the start: any kind of religion is a sickness to this world. A sickness that creates hate and intolerance, a sickness that brings people to wage war on their fellow people, a sickness that has come to this world long time ago, when mankind wasn't educated, a sickness that brought false hope and suppression to those who believed and often even more terror and suppression to those who dared not to believe," the message by Anonymous begins and continues to accuse religion and Christianity as being a source for most of the wars that have occurred throughout history.It also identifies religion, along with the world's governments, as being the main source of oppression and a force that keeps most people down while giving power to the select few.
It is difficult to ascertain if the attackers really were from the Anonymous group, who have no recognized form of leadership and do not adhere to a membership code of conduct. The group has previously shut down the FBI and Recording Industry Association of America websites in support of content-pirating websites, such as The Pirate Bay, and have been a driving force behind the "Occupy" movement.
A 30-minute long YouTube video, "Richard Dawkins: An Atheist's Call to Arms," was posted on the websites of Bethel Outreach International Church, Charlotte International Church, and Crossfire Ministries, all from North Carolina but seemingly chosen at random, in which Dawkins encourages non-believers to unite and stick up for their belief.
Anonymous dOes have a Twitter account, however, which has over 276,783 followers, and it announced the church attack in a tweet on Friday that read: "HACKED Reason:religious idiocy and foh dah lulz #Anonymous #AntiSec #OWS #ROOTED #DAWKINS."

March 6, 2012 – YEMEN - The death toll from a sophisticated attack by Islamic extremists against soldiers in Yemen jumped to 177 Tuesday, three Yemeni security officials told CNN. Air raids on militant positions since the attack have left at least 42 militants dead in Abyan province, security officials said. The attack Sunday at an army base by Ansar al-Sharia, which is allied with al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), originally claimed the lives of 90 soldiers and wounded many others. It “illustrates AQAP’s complete disregard for human life,” U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement. Thought I would note the strange suggestion in this article that the fireball over Tasmania might be the same one that was seen over England (look two articles down). You don't have to be a geography expert to see the two countries are basically on opposite sides of the earth. So where are these large objects coming from? |

A FIERY meteor has lit up the sky over Victoria and Tasmania.
The object, described as a glowing red fireball moving horizontally across the sky about 10.45pm (AEDT) on Sunday, was an unusual sight for this time of year, according to astronomer David Reneke.
Observers say the meteor was visible for about 20 seconds.
Professor Reneke says he and his colleagues are at a loss to explain the timing and exact nature of the meteor.
It may have been a slow-moving piece of rock that ignited or a piece of space junk, he said.
"It's unprecedented, we don't seem to be in a meteor shower period at the moment," Professor Reneke said.
"(Fireballs) tend to be very slow moving and they travel more horizontally than vertically... if you ever see one, they stick in your mind for the rest of your life."
Professor Reneke says he has received dozens of reported sightings from across Victoria and Tasmania.
Social network site Twitter was abuzz today with reports of the meteor.
The phenomenon comes after a fireball was reported in skies over the United Kingdom on Saturday, with police inundated with calls from concerned residents, The Guardian reports.
It is impossible to be sure if the sighted meteors in the UK and Australia are the same, Professor Reneke says.
Magma Plume: Mt. Etna volcano rocked by third eruption in 2012
March 5, 2012 – ITALY - Etna just keeps on rolling. The Italian volcano had its third paroxysm of 2012 (see above) on March 4 and first since early February. This new eruption was a short event that was preceded by 18 days worth of small strombolian activity. The event may have been only ~2 hours, but it produced some spectacular explosions, aiding in some part by interaction with snow and a pyroclastic flow was spotted as well. Osservatario Etneo reported that even a small lahar was produced during this paroxysm as a result of volcanic material mixing with snow. Fireball over UK: Reports of a “bright light” and an “orange glow” were received by police across Scotland and the north of England around 9.40pm. The Met Office tweeted: “Hi All, for anyone seeing something in the night sky, we believe it was a meteorite.” A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said the force had been “inundated” with calls about a bright object in the sky across the west of Scotland. A Durham Police spokeswoman said a number of calls came in around 9.45pm from concerned members of public who had seen a “bright light or a fire in the sky” and believed it may have been incidents involving an aircraft. Police forces across the UK have been inundated with calls after what is believed to be a meteor was spotted in the sky. This is the psalmist’s inspired description of the deliverance of Israel by the Lord out of Egypt and it focuses on two aspect of redemption – the financial and the physical. It says that God brought them out with silver and gold, with great wealth. And then it says, there was not one who stumbled, not one who was weak, not one who was sick, not one who could not manage that lengthy march across the deserts of Egypt. That’s a picture of redemption.
Redemption is not just for our spiritual being. It’s a total provision of God for every area of our being, for every area of our life. When God redeems, He makes provision for our physical being. He makes provision for our material needs. Remember that just 24 hours previously Israel had been an underprivileged people – slaves, with scarcely enough to eat, no abundance of anything – and in 24 hours, by the act of redemption, God changed all that. How was it changed? By one simple thing, their faith in the Passover lamb, its shed blood, by feeding on the body of the lamb. For us today God has provided a Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus. Faith in His blood and feeding upon Him will do for us even more than the Passover lamb did for Israel in Egypt.

Earth will likely be impacted by large asteroid February 15-16, 2013
March 4, 2012 – SPACE – Scientists are predicting that the asteroid 2012 DA14 has a good chance of colliding with earth in eleven months. Watch the skies in February 2013! According to RT, NASA has confirmed that the 60 meter (or 197 feet) asteroid, which was spotted by Spanish stargazers in February this year, has a good chance of colliding with earth. The scientists suggest confronting this asteroid with either big guns or, more strangely, with paint. The problem with either option is that there is no time to build a spaceship for the operation. A spaceship could either shoot the asteroid down or simply crash into it – this would either break it into pieces or throw it off course. NASA expert David Dunham suggested: “We could paint it.” The paint would change the asteroid’s ability to reflect sunlight, alter its spin and change its temperature. However, even taking the asteroid off course could be dangerous when it returns in 2056, according to Aleksandr Devaytkin the head of the observatory in Russia’s Pulkovo, as told to Izvestia in Russia recently. The asteroid’s closest approach to earth is scheduled for 15 February 2013, when they predict that the distance between it and earth will be under 27,000 km (16,700 miles). With the asteroid zooming that low, it will be too late to do anything with it besides trying to predict its final destination and the consequences of impact. However, NASA’s David Dunham did say: “The asteroid may split into pieces entering the atmosphere. In this case, most parts of it will never reach the planet’s surface.” But theories are that if the entire asteroid did crash into the planet, the impact will be as hard as in the Tunguska blast, which in 1908 knocked down trees over a total area of 2,150 sq km (830 sq miles) in Siberia. As you can see, the Earth distance of object 2012 DA14 on the JPL chart has dropped to a negative on February 16, 2013, indicating an impact scenario could likely occur. The A.M. or Apparent Magnitude scale puts the object’s brightness at 24.4 H, which would make it a little brighter than Pluto’s moon, Nix, which means it would not be highly visible to the naked eye until it entered Earth’s atmosphere. -The Extinction Protocol

To me, IMO, it has all the pieces there to put together.. a geologic steaming event of some kind … the steam is coming from this dormant volcanic area BEING FRACKED (injected with water) !!!!!

Irish residents’ lives wrecked by mysterious ‘humming noise’
March 3, 2012 – IRELAND - Despairing residents in a remote Kerry parish have told how their lives have been made a living hell by a mystery humming noise that is disrupting their sleep and causing chaos every day. They are pleading with the Government to investigate the source of the constant, pulsating, low-frequency noise that cannot be traced despite repeated efforts. Frustrated locals in a rural part of Beaufort, 15km from Killarney, have been hearing the bizarre noise since early last year but cannot find what is causing it. Resident Barry Lynch said: “The first time we heard it was in Apr 2011 and it has been there 24/7 since then. We are nearly gone out of our minds because we can’t get a decent night of sleep and its there all day, every day. There are no mobile phone masts, windmills or generators in the area and the ESB has assured us that the problem is not due to any high-tension wires in the area. We thought the noise might be coming from water pumps installed in the area by Kerry County Council but an engineer switched the pumps off for a trial period and the noise was still there.” He said that neighbors over a 7km radius have also complained about the sound. “One neighbor went to the doctor because he thought he was having a problem with his hearing. It is placing a huge strain on my own partner who can’t sleep at night, even when she wears earplugs.” Mr. Lynch said the noise was even more noticeable inside his home and despite extensive insulation, the whole building appears to vibrate, particularly in the stillness of night. “The whole thing is very unpleasant and it is really bothering us. We don’t know what we can do. We are pleading with the Department of the Environment or some other organization to help us before we are driven out of our homes,” said Mr. Lynch. Dutchsinse has been digging these radar events up for the last 15 months. The video shows two clear plume event occurring in Arkansas at the sites of dormant volcanoes. We have seen these in California twice in the last year, where geologists have recently admitted that a volcano could erupt at any time. To see these in the central U.S. is much more surprising. Shows that digital radars have not removed all the pertinent info, not yet. Also, the USGS is not showing any earthquake of any size in the area today. Somehow, that's not really a surprise.

The plume area in Arkansas is coming from near the dormant volcanic chain which includes Murfreesboro Diamond mine state park … a dormant volcano where you can dig for diamonds.
Also in south-east Missouri — there resides a dormant volcano — not marked on any map.. but you can see the county (i have done this already myself) .. go look up that county on google earth .. and look for the ONLY standalone mountain in the area.. zoom in… and you will see it … clearly an UNMARKED or UNKNOWN dormant volcano.. (for sure unnamed).

Sebelius: Decrease in Human Beings Will Cover Cost of Contraception Mandate

(CNSNews.com) – Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel Thursday that a reduction in the number of human beings born in the United States will compensate employers and insurers for the cost of complying with the new HHS mandate that will require all health-care plans to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions.
“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception,” Sebelius said. She went on to say the estimated cost is “down not up.”
Sebelius, however, insisted that the mandate “upholds religious liberty."
The Catholic bishops have called for the regulation to be rescinded in its entirety, so that no employer, insurer or individual is forced to act against his or her conscience.
During the subcommittee hearing, Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) said that contraception provided by insurance companies to people employed by religious organizations under the future form of the rule Sebelius described would not be was not free.
“Who pays for it? There’s no such thing as a free service,” Murphy asked.
Sebelius responded that that is not the case with insurance.
“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for cost of contraception,” Sebelius answered.
Murphy expressed surprise by the answer.
“So you are saying, by not having babies born, we are going to save money on health care?” Murphy asked.
Sebelius replied, “Providing contraception is a critical preventive health benefit for women and for their children.”
Murphy again sought clarification.
“Not having babies born is a critical benefit. This is absolutely amazing to me. I yield back,” he said.
Sebelius responded, “Family planning is a critical health benefit in this country, according to the Institute of Medicine.”

The Egyptian Government has agreed to release seven Americans that have been held hostage for weeks after a $300,000 payment was agreed to for each of the Americans. The employers of the Americans apparently agreed to make the payments.
This MUST mean the end of $1 Billion in annual U.S. Foreign Aid to Egypt if there is any sanity in our Government. (Actually, that isn't likely to happen. It makes too much sense.)
At least 28 killed in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio as tornadoes sweep Midwest, South

A tornado blew a school bus into a house in Marysville, Ind.
Updated at 10 p.m. ET: Tornadoes swept across the Midwest and the South on Friday, hitting hardest in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, where at least 28 people were killed. An entire town was flattened in Indiana, and homes and businesses were destroyed from Ohio to the Gulf Coast.
Fourteen people were killed in Indiana, 12 died in Kentucky and two people were killed in Ohio, said The Weather Channel on its website, weather.com.
The town of Marysville, Ind., population about 1,900, was "completely gone," and Henryville Junior-Senior High School was destroyed, Clark County sheriff's Maj. Chuck Adams told NBC News. All the students escaped, some with minor scrapes, Adams said.
In West Liberty, Ky., the Morgan County Courthouse sustained significant damage, and an unknown number of people were injured or trapped in buildings. In Trimble County, Ky., a tornado leveled the Milton fire station.
The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration said Friday would likely end up as one of the five biggest tornado days of the year, with "tornadic activity" leading to watches or warnings in at least 17 states.
Rare extreme warning
For only the second time, the Weather Channel issued a TORCON warning of 10 as multiple tornado-producing super-cells moved across northern Kentucky — meaning forecasters believed there was a 100 percent chance of a tornado within 50 miles. The TORCON system was developed a few years ago, and the top warning was first used April 27, 2011, during a devastating outbreak of tornadoes across the South.
"The reason that it is so wide is because we’re not talking about one tornado. We’re talking about a very large super-cell that spawned several smaller tornadoes, and there’s possibly one very large one in there, too," she said.

9/11 Commissioner and Co-Chair of Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 Say in Sworn Declarations that Saudi Government Linked to 9/11
I would like to point out that even though 15 of the alleged 19 hijackers were Saudis, we never investigated or even raised suspicions about them. Saudi Arabia is the number one source of Wahabbi muslims, those are the ones that believe if they blow themselves up killing infidels (us) they go straight to heaven and get 72 virgins. (How is that for a rude awakening, when they wake up in Hell?) Anyway, the Saudis financially support Wahabbi schools in Pakistan and other countries, while we continue to supply them with top of the line weaponry and treat them as an ally. The political world is upside down and backwards, and this article gives a small glimpse of that strange reality.

As we noted last year:For more than a decade, questions have lingered about the possible role of the Saudi government in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, even as the royal kingdom has made itself a crucial counterterrorism partner in the eyes of American diplomats.
Now, in sworn statements that seem likely to reignite the debate, two former senators who were privy to top secret information on the Saudis’ activities say they believe that the Saudi government might have played a direct role in the terrorist attacks.
“I am convinced that there was a direct line between at least some of the terrorists who carried out the September 11th attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia,” former Senator Bob Graham, Democrat of Florida, said in an affidavit filed as part of a lawsuit brought against the Saudi government and dozens of institutions in the country by families of Sept. 11 victims and others. Mr. Graham led a joint 2002 Congressional inquiry into the attacks.
The Times continues:The Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham, previously stated that an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House (confirmed here).
Today, Graham called for a new 9/11 investigation. As Raw Story notes:
Graham on Monday called on the U.S. government to reopen its investigation into 9/11 after a report found that links between Saudi Arabia and the hijackers were never disclosed by the FBI to the 2002 joint Congressional intelligence committee investigating the attacks.
“In the final report of the congressional inquiry, there was a chapter related primarily to the Saudi role in 9/11 that was totally censored, every word of the chapter has been withheld from the public,” Graham said on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show.
“Some of the other questions we ought to be asking are if we know that the Saudis who lived in San Diego and now apparently in Sarasota received substantial assistance, what about the Saudis who lived in Phoenix, Arizona? Or Arlington, Virginia? … What was happening in those places?”
“I believe these are questions for which there are definitive answers, but the American people and largely their elected representatives have been denied that information.”
His former Senate colleague, Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, a Democrat who served on the separate 9/11 Commission, said in a sworn affidavit of his own in the case that “significant questions remain unanswered” about the role of Saudi institutions. “Evidence relating to the plausible involvement of possible Saudi government agents in the September 11th attacks has never been fully pursued,” Mr. Kerrey said.
Their affidavits, which were filed on Friday and have not previously been disclosed, are part of a multibillion-dollar lawsuit that has wound its way through federal courts since 2002. An appellate court, reversing an earlier decision, said in November that foreign nations were not immune to lawsuits under certain terrorism claims, clearing the way for parts of the Saudi case to be reheard in United States District Court in Manhattan.
The Saudis are seeking to have the case dismissed in part because they say American inquiries — including those in which Mr. Graham and Mr. Kerrey took part — have essentially exonerated them. A recent court filing by the Saudis prominently cited the 9/11 Commission’s “exhaustive” final report, which “found no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi individuals funded” Al Qaeda.
But Mr. Kerrey and Mr. Graham said that the findings should not be seen as an exoneration and that many important questions about the Saudis’ role had never been fully examined, partly because their panels simply did not have the time or resources given their wider scope.
Terry Strada of New Vernon, N.J., whose husband died in the World Trade Center, said it was “so absurd that it’s laughable” for the Saudis to claim that the federal inquiries had exonerated them.
Unanswered questions include the work of a number of Saudi-sponsored charities with financial links to Al Qaeda, as well as the role of a Saudi citizen living in San Diego at the time of the attacks, Omar al-Bayoumi, who had ties to two of the hijackers and to Saudi officials, Mr. Graham said in his affidavit.
Still, Washington has continued to stand behind Saudi Arabia publicly, with the Justice Department joining the kingdom in trying to have the lawsuits thrown out of court on the grounds that the Saudis are protected by international immunity.

Gen. McCaffrey privately briefs NBC execs on war with Iran

In 2009, The New York Times‘ David Barstow won the Pulitzer Prize for his two-part series on the use by television networks of retired Generals posing as objective “analysts” at exactly the same time they were participating — unbeknownst to viewers — in a Pentagon propaganda program. Many were also plagued by undisclosed conflicts of interest whereby they had financial stakes in many of the policies they were pushing on-air. One of the prime offenders was Gen. Barry McCaffrey, who was not only a member of the Pentagon’s propaganda program, but also, according to Barstow’s second stand-alone article, had his own “Military-Industrial-Media Complex,” deeply invested in many of the very war policies he pushed and advocated while posing as an NBC “analyst”:
Through seven years of war an exclusive club has quietly flourished at the intersection of network news and wartime commerce. Its members, mostly retired generals, have had a foot in both camps as influential network military analysts and defense industry rainmakers. It is a deeply opaque world, a place of privileged access to senior government officials, where war commentary can fit hand in glove with undisclosed commercial interests and network executives are sometimes oblivious to possible conflicts of interest.Few illustrate the submerged complexities of this world better than Barry McCaffrey. . . . General McCaffrey has immersed himself in businesses that have grown with the fight against terrorism. . . .
Many retired officers hold a perch in the world of military contracting, but General McCaffrey is among a select few who also command platforms in the news media and as government advisers on military matters. These overlapping roles offer them an array of opportunities to advance policy goals as well as business objectives. But with their business ties left undisclosed, it can be difficult for policy makers and the public to fully understand their interests.
On NBC and in other public forums, General McCaffrey has consistently advocated wartime policies and spending priorities that are in line with his corporate interests. But those interests are not described to NBC’s viewers. He is held out as a dispassionate expert, not someone who helps companies win contracts related to the wars he discusses on television.
Despite Barstow’s Pulitzer, neither Brian Williams nor anyone else at NBC News ever mentioned any of these groundbreaking stories to their viewers (even as Williams reported on other Pulitzer awards that year); the controversy over the Pentagon propaganda program was simply suppressed. And NBC continued to feature those same ex-Generals as “analysts” — including McCaffrey — as though the whole thing never happened.
Apparently, not only does NBC continue to present McCaffrey to its viewers as some sort of objective analyst, but NBC News executives use him as some kind of private consultant and briefer on the news. On January 12, 2012, McCaffrey presented a seminar to roughly 20 NBC executives and producers — including NBC News President Steve Capus — entitled “Iran, Nukes & Oil: The Gulf Confrontation.” We’ve obtained the Power Point document McCaffrey prepared and distributed for his presentation, and in it, he all but predicts war with Iran within the next 90 days: one that is likely to be started by them. The first page of the breathlessly hawkish document is entitled “Iran & the Gulf: Creeping Toward War,” and the first sentence excitedly proclaims
The article goes on to hype the likelihood that Iran will do something to provoke Israel and the U.S. into war within a few months. It should be noted that wars in the Middle East are traditionally initiated in March. Is this political leaders honoring Mars, the god of War, and the god that has made them all quite rich and powerful?
NASA Laptop Stolen With Command Codes That Control Space Station
A short brief on NASA. They are a military program with some civilians working there. They are not a civilian space program. That's why so few actual facts come out of their public relations department. This was a rare revelation of some of the oddities from the program that include losing the blueprints and technical specs for the Apollo rockets (no kidding) and losing ALL of the original movies and tapes of all of the moon landings. I'm not making this up. Now whether or not they actually lost those, that's another story....

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — NASA’s inspector general revealed in congressional testimony that a space agency computer was stolen last year with the command codes to control the International Space Station.
In a statement given to a House committee on the security challenges facing NASA, Paul K. Martin said that an unencrypted NASA computer stolen last year was one of 48 taken between April 2009 and April 2011.
“The March 2011 theft of an unencrypted NASA notebook computer resulted in the loss of algorithms used to command and control the International Space Station,” Martin said in his written testimony. “Other lost or stolen notebooks contained Social Security numbers and sensitive data on NASA’s Constellation and Orion programs.”
In 2010 and 2011, there were 5,408 computer security incidents at the space agency costing NASA an estimated $7 million.
“These incidents spanned a wide continuum from individuals testing their skill to break into NASA systems, to well-organized criminal enterprises hacking for profit, to intrusions that may have been sponsored by foreign intelligence services seeking to further their countries’ objectives,” Martin said.
Last year, NASA was the victim of 47 cyberattacks, with 13 of those attacks successfully compromising the agency’s computers. In one of those attacks, credentials for more than 150 employees were stolen.
Another attack involved Chinese-based IP addresses that gained full access to systems and sensitive user accounts at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.
The Office of Management and Budget reported that only 1 percent of NASA’s portable devices and laptops have been encrypted this year.
“Until NASA fully implements an Agency-wide data encryption solution, sensitive data on its mobile computing and portable data storage devices will remain at high risk for loss or theft,” Martin explained in his testimony.

Japanese researchers invent gun that silences speech
March 2, 2012 – TOKYO - Japanese researchers have created a hand-held gun (pictured above) that can jam the words of speakers who are more than 30 meters (100ft) away. The gun has two purposes, according to the researchers: At its most basic, this gun could be used in libraries and other quiet spaces to stop people from speaking — but its second application is a lot more chilling. The researchers were looking for a way to stop “louder, stronger” voices from saying more than their fair share in conversation. The paper reads: “We have to establish and obey rules for proper turn-taking when speaking. However, some people tend to lengthen their turns or deliberately interrupt other people when it is their turn in order to establish their presence rather than achieve more fruitful discussions. Furthermore, some people tend to jeer at speakers to invalidate their speech.” In oth
er words, this speech-jamming gun was built to enforce “proper” conversations. The gun works by listening in with a directional microphone, and then, after a short delay of around 0.2 seconds, playing it back with a directional speaker. This triggers an effect that psychologists call Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF), which has long been known to interrupt your speech (you might’ve experienced the same effect if you’ve ever heard your own voice echoing through Skype or another voice comms program). According to the researchers, DAF doesn’t cause physical discomfort, but the fact that you’re unable to talk is obviously quite stressful. Suffice it to say, if you’re a firm believer in free speech, you should now be experiencing a deafening cacophony of alarm bells. Let me illustrate a few examples of how this speech-jamming gun could be used. At a political rally, an audience member could completely lock down Santorum, Romney, Paul, or Obama from speaking. On the flip side, a totalitarian state could point the speech jammers at the audience to shut them up. Likewise, when a celebrity or public figure appears on a live TV show, his contract could read “the audience must be silenced with speech jammers.” –Extreme Tech
Spiritual Warfare and Sin: Self-sins

To be specific, the self-sins are self-righteousness, self-pity,
self-confidence, self-sufficiency, self-admiration, self-love and
a host of others like them. They dwell too deep within us and are
too much a part of our natures to come to our attention till the
light of God is focused upon them. The grosser manifestations of
these sins--egotism, exhibitionism, self-promotion--are strangely
tolerated in Christian leaders, even in circles of impeccable
orthodoxy. They are so much in evidence as actually, for many
people, to become identified with the gospel. I trust it is not a
cynical observation to say that they appear these days to be a
requisite for popularity in some sections of the church visible.
Promoting self under the guise of promoting Christ is currently
so common as to exite little notice....
Self is the opaque veil that hides the face of God from us. It can
be removed only in spiritual experience, never by mere
instruction. We may as well try to instruct leprosy out of our

Russian Mogul’s Plan: Plant Our Brains in Robots, Keep Them Alive Forever
The Pentagon’s new Avatar project, unveiled by Danger Room a few weeks back, sounds freaky enough: Soldiers practically inhabiting the bodies of robots, who’d act as “surrogates” for their human overlords in battle.
But according to Dmitry Itskov, a 31-year-old Russian media mogul, the U.S. military’s Avatar initiative doesn’t go nearly far enough. He’s got a massive, sci-fi-esque venture of his own that he hopes will put the Pentagon’s project to shame. Itskov’s plan:
Construct robots that’ll (within 10 years, he hopes) actually store a human’s mind and keep that consciousness working. Forever.
Itskov’s project, also called “Avatar,” actually precedes the Pentagon’s. He launched the initiative a year ago, but recently divulged more details to a group of futurists — including Ray Kurzweil — at a three-day conference, called Global Future 2045, held in Moscow.
Until now, most of the work on Itskov’s Avatar has taken place in Russia, where he claims to have hired 30 researchers — all of them paid out of his own deep pockets. Now, Itskov plans to take the mission global. “I want to collaborate with scientists from around the world,” he says. “This is a new strategy for the future; for humanity.”
So how would Itskov’s “Avatar” work? Well, he anticipates developing the program in stages. Within the next few years, Itskov plans to deploy robots that can be operated by the human mind. That’s actually not too wild a proposition: Pentagon-backed research has already demonstrated a monkey controlling a robotic arm using some nifty mind-meld tech, for example. And one study on human patients, out of Johns Hopkins, is using brain implants to control artificial limbs.
“Holograms give plenty of advantages. You can walk through walls, move at the speed of light,” he says. “Remember in Star Wars, Obi-Wan’s hologram? That was pretty amazing.”
Amazing, yes. Scientifically feasible? Certainly not right now, and maybe not ever. “I understand these are some very big challenges for scientists,” Itskov acknowledges. “But I believe in something you call ‘The American Dream.’ If you put all your energy and time into something, you can make it a reality.”
Itskov, who plans to open two American offices this year, even hopes to collaborate with Darpa on the agency’s ‘Avatar’ program. And he’s keen to talk to agency scientists about the next, more far-out stages of brain-machine interfaces that he plans to develop. “I’m sure someone at Darpa is interested in taking this further,” he says.
So far, at least, Danger Room hasn’t come across any Darpa-funded ventures to develop immortal hologram-brain interfaces. But the agency just might find a little extra blue-sky inspiration in Itskov, who likens Avatar to Darpa’s best-known innovation: The internet.
“Years ago, people didn’t believe the internet could work,” he says. “I think of Avatar in the same light. Right now, the idea is new and radical. It won’t always be that way.”

The terrible ones described here is the Hebrew word ariyts, meaning awe-inspiring, terror striking, awesome, terrifying, ruthless, or mighty. These terrible ones are mentioned in relation to an end times prophecy concerning an attack on Israel.
Why Are Oil Prices Rising? Because The Oil Companies Want Them To
As for the "crisis theory" which is being pushed by mainstream media, it's a complete farce. We are already being told that fighting in the Middle East, especially with Iran, will cause prices to hit $5 a gallon or more. We currently get 0% of our oil from Iran. That is a zero. We do get around 17% from Saudi Arabia, but their oil shipments to the U.S. would be unaffected by shipments coming through the Strait of Hormuz. Europe and China would be affected by such a war, but not the U.S.
So here is what we can expect. Prices will jump this year, maybe to the dreaded $5 a gallon price or higher. The media will say it's some crisis that caused the jump. A hurricane hitting a processing center or a war in the middle east. And we will pay the price, unless you can ride a bike and are ready to start using it. One more reason to pray for the return of Messiah. Our world needs it's only true ruler. Now more than ever.
Residents searching for answers to intensifying mystery force shaking North Carolina coast
March 1, 2012 – SOUTHPORT, NC — Big booms and shaking were felt along the North Carolina coast Tuesday that have some people worried. Now, folks are booming with big bang theories on what they say causes the mysterious rocking and rolling along the coast. “Anything that can shake the houses, not just one or two houses, but a whole neighborhood and it can be heard from Southport to Bolivia and Sunset Harbor, it has to be something big,” said Bolivia resident Erick Myles. Folks across the Cape Fear say the mysterious booms are back and this time they seem stronger than ever. People say they had different experiences depending on where they were at the time. “It’s kind of freaky to me because I heard it but I didn’t see anything,” said Southport resident Jamie Hoffmann. “I didn’t hear the booms but I felt shaking twice,” said Boiling Spring Lakes resident Ruth Finley. Everyone we talked to said this was not the first time they have experienced the unknown sound and shaking. Some folks even say they hear the booms every week. One thing is for sure, people say they want answers. Seismologist say nothing registered on the Richter Scale Tuesday in our area and the military says it is not responsible for the sounds or shaking. Although scientists and authorities can’t seem to pinpoint where the noise is coming from, residents have their own theories. “I know that there’s an explanation and it has to be military,” Myles said. “The ocean,” said Hoffmann. “Something with the ocean.” Meanwhile, others said, “I think they’re earthquakes,” said Finley. “Tremors.”Some people we talked to said they were very concerned with the booms now that we’re nearing the end of the Mayan calendar which some people believe marks the end of the world. They say the confusion surrounding the booms only builds up their theory that we’re nearing the end of days. –Wway 3 News
