The Prophecy of Father Malachi Martin: We Won't Have Long To Wait Now

I initially printed this in January of last year, but the time is much closer now, and events are unfolding. We will soon know if Malachi Martin was correct in his writings concerning the ritual of June 29, 1963, which provided a 50 year window for the "enthronement" of Satan.

Father Martin stated in his last book, "Windswept House", that a black magic ceremony had been performed in Rome and South Carolina simultaneously on June 29, 1963. The notes of interest on South Carolina it being the home of Freemasonry in America, the state of origin for the Civil War, and also has a St. Peters in Columbia. This ceremony was to "enthrone Satan". What is of interest here is that Father Martin stated that the enthronement was enabled to occur sometime within 50 years of the ceremony. This means that no later than June 29, 2013, Satan is invited to assume the Papal throne.

I'm not confirming this as true, just sharing it as something of interest. Several Catholic priests and bishops have stated in the recent years that "the smoke of Satan (offerings) was rising from the Vatican", most recently Father Gabriel Amorth, who is no less than the Chief Exorcist for the Roman Church. Not the best publicity for the Catholic church, by the way.

This prophecy seems to come very near to correlation with the prophecy of St. Malachy. Malachy, a catholic priest serving in the 11th century, reportedly made a long series of predictions concerning future popes. According to his prediction, only one pope will take office following the current Pope Benedict. This pope will be known as "Peter The Roman", and will serve during the reign of the Antichrist. Are these prophecies true? We don't have long to wait....

Fr. Malachi Martin affirmed: Satanism has been practiced in the Vatican
"How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 13, 1978
Fr. Malachi Martin's accusations

In The Fatima Crusader article, Malachi Martin, a scholar, Vatican insider, and best-selling author, said, “Anybody who is acquainted with the state of affairs in the Vatican in the last 35 years is well aware that the prince of darkness has had and still has his surrogates in the court of St. Peter in Rome.”

From 1958 until 1964, Jesuit priest Malachi Martin served in Rome where he was a close associate of, and carried out many sensitive missions for the renowned Jesuit Cardinal Augustin Bea and the pope. Released afterwards from his vows of poverty and obedience at his own request (but still a priest), he ultimately moved to New York and became a best-selling writer of fiction and non-fiction.  Father Martin was also well-known as an exorcist.

Martin had first made reference to a diabolic rite held in Rome in his 1990 non-fiction best-seller about geopolitics and the Vatican, The Keys of This Blood, in which he wrote:
"Most frighteningly for [Pope] John Paul [II], he had come up against the irremovable presence of a malign strength in his own Vatican and in certain bishops’ chanceries. It was what knowledgeable Churchmen called the ‘superforce.’ Rumors, always difficult to verify, tied its installation to the beginning of Pope Paul VI’s reign in 1963. Indeed Paul had alluded somberly to ‘the smoke of Satan which has entered the Sanctuary’. . . an oblique reference to an enthronement ceremony by Satanists in the Vatican. Besides, the incidence of Satanic pedophilia—rites and practices— was already documented among certain bishops and priests as widely dispersed as Turin, in Italy, and South Carolina, in the United States. The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the Fallen Archangel’s rites." (p. 632)

Pope Benedict - Not A Professional Model
These allegations have largely gone unnoticed, possibly because he was so crafty in his descriptions that he might even have been referring to the coronation of Pope Paul VI. But he revealed much more about this alleged ritual in one of his last works, Windswept House: A Vatican Novel (1996). In this story, he vividly described a ceremony called “The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer” supposedly held in St. Paul’s Chapel in the Vatican, but linked with concurrent satanic rites here in the U.S., on June 29, 1963, barely a week after the election of Paul VI. In the novel, before he dies, a pope leaves a secret account of the situation on his desk for the next occupant of the throne of Peter, a thinly-disguised John Paul II.

According to The New American, Martin confirmed that the ceremony did indeed occur as he had described. “Oh yes, it is true; very much so,” the magazine reported he said. “But the only way I could put that down into print is in novelistic form.”

Martin's accusation of a satanic ritual at the Vatican was also confirmed by John Loeffler, host of the Steel on Steel radio show. Mr. Loeffler personally asked Fr. Malachi Martin (who had been a regular guest on his show) about the reported dedication to satan within the Vatican:
"You know Malachi confirmedthe first part of his book, Windswept Househe confirmed the dedication of the Vatican to satan in a secret ceremony that occurred unknown even to the Pope at that time, that he managed to pick up. And I did ask him, 'Was this true? Did it happen?' And he [Fr. Martin] said, 'yes, it did.'" - John Loeffler (July 29, 2000 radio show)
Fr. Malachi Martin said more members of the clergy are becoming aware of the situation. An archbishop several years ago also accused high members of the hierarchy in Rome of practicing satanism. The Italian newspaper Il Tempo and other major daily papers reported this stunning news (Italian newspaper articles).

Altar of St. Peters, Rome
Windswept House

Windswept House is a sweeping novel, set on the grand global stage and the unfolding of the next stage of civilization, the ominously-named New World Order. It tackles head-on a number of heavy issues from abortion to the Third Secret of Fatima, but the essential message seems to be this: Satanists lurk in the shadows, from the heart of the Vatican down to the local parishes, manipulating those duped by the false spirit of Vatican II. They are doing their damnedest to subvert the Roman Catholic Church.

In Windswept House, Martin was quite explicit about the conditions in the Vatican, opening the novel with the above-mentioned satanic ritual. In it, Satan was formally enthroned in the Vatican in the Chapel of St. Paul (by all reports a dark and appropriately spooky place). The ceremony was coordinated via telephone with another simultaneous rite in South Carolina.
But these are minor quibbles. Like The Keys of This Blood, Windswept House is written for a wide and not necessarily Catholic audience, but both books give an odd feeling of being intended for John Paul II himself. It’s as if Keys was written to show the Pope that Martin understood what the Pontiff was doing in the geopolitical arena and address his concerns for the Church’s internal situation. (One may be reminded of Machiavelli’s The Prince, written also by a courtier exiled from court.) Windswept House, however, is a much more dramatic and desperate plea to the Pope.

A Dark Vision
Just how bad did Martin judge things to be? Extremely so:
"Suddenly it became unarguable that now during this papacy, the Roman Catholic organization carried a permanent presence of clerics who worshipped Satan and liked it; of bishops and priests who sodomized boys and each other; of nuns who performed the “Black Rites” of Wicca, and who lived in lesbian relationships . . . every day, including Sundays and Holy Days, acts of heresy and blasphemy and outrage and indifference were committed and permitted at holy Altars by men who had been called to be priests. Sacrilegious actions and rites were not only performed on Christ’s Altars, but had the connivance or at least the tacit permission of certain Cardinals, archbishops, and bishops. . . In total number they were a minority—anything from one to ten percent of Church personnel. But of that minority, many occupied astoundingly high positions or rank.... The facts that brought the Pope to a new level of suffering were mainly two: The systematic organizational links—the network, in other words that had been established between certain clerical homosexual groups and Satanist covens. And the inordinate power and influence of that network." (pp. 492-3)
At the time of his passing on July 27, 1999, Martin was at work on what he said would be his most controversial and important book. Primacy: How the Institutional Roman Catholic Church became a Creature of The New World Order was to deal with power and the papacy. This work was to analyze the revolutionary shift that lies at the heart of what many see as the breakdown of papal power. It was to be a book of predictions about the Vatican and the world in the first decades of the new millennium.

Fr. Malachi Martin never recanted any of his claims that the scene in Windswept House was based on an actual satanic ritual in the Vatican in the first days of the reign of Pope Paul VI, nor that there exists a general satanic conspiracy within the Roman Catholic Church.

I added this, the first part in a series of an interview that was taken with Malachi Martin not long before his death.  He talks about his background and work in the Vatican, some of his extensive education and his work as an exorcist.  Add in best-selling novelist and former (or forever?) Jesuit, and you have one very interesting man.

Flashback - The Prophecy of St. Malachy

I originally posted this in December of 2011. I thought this was an appropriate time to refresh our memories, and to remember Malachy himself, known as a devout and faithful priest. His prophecy was hidden for 2 centuries before it was revealed, so there are questions as to whether this was really his and unedited, but it's been accurate enough to pique the interest of millions. It won't be long before we know whether the "tribulations" he predicted for the last pope are true.

The Prophecy of St. Malachy

St. Malachy's prophecy is extra-biblical. He lived in the twelfth century, yet his prophecies were not revealed until the late 16th century. This leads to obvious questions of legitimacy, but the potential accuracy of the list is quite impressive. To simplify, if his prophecy is correct, the current Pope (Benedict) is the next to last in the papal line. The Pope to follow will be "Peter The Roman", and will be Pope in the days of the Antichrist. Benedict is in failing health, being (I think) 75 years old as I write this. The prophecy certainly is worthy of attention at this late hour of history.

From the Catholic Encyclopedia 1913 editionThe most famous and best known prophecies about the popes are those attributed to St. Malachy. In 1139 he went to Rome to give an account of the affairs of his diocese to the pope, Innocent II, who promised him two palliums for the metropolitan Sees of Armagh and Cashel. While at Rome, he received (according to the Abbé Cucherat) the strange vision of the future wherein was unfolded before his mind the long list of illustrious pontiffs who were to rule the Church until the end of time. The same author tells us that St. Malachy gave his manuscript to Innocent II to console him in the midst of his tribulations, and that the document remained unknown in the Roman Archives until its discovery in 1590 (Cucherat, "Proph. de la succession des papes", ch. xv).

They were first published by Arnold de Wyon, and ever since there has been much discussion as to whether they are genuine predictions of St. Malachy or forgeries. The silence of 400 years on the part of so many learned authors who had written about the popes, and the silence of St. Bernard especially, who wrote the "Life of St. Malachy", is a strong argument against their authenticity, but it is not conclusive if we adopt Cucherat's theory that they were hidden in the Archives during those 400 years.

These short prophetical announcements, in number 112, indicate some noticeable trait of all future popes from Celestine II, who was elected in the year 1130, until the end of the world. They are enunciated under mystical titles. Those who have undertaken to interpret and explain these symbolical prophecies have succeeded in discovering some trait, allusion, point, or similitude in their application to the individual popes, either as to their country, their name, their coat of arms or insignia, their birth-place, their talent or learning, the title of their cardinalate, the dignities which they held etc. For example, the prophecy concerning Urban VIII is Lilium et Rosa (the lily and the rose); he was a native of Florence and on the arms of Florence figured a fleur-de-lis; he had three bees emblazoned on his escutcheon, and the bees gather honey from the lilies and roses.

Again, the name accords often with some remarkable and rare circumstance in the pope's career; thus Peregrinus apostolicus (pilgrim pope), which designates Pius VI, appears to be verified by his journey when pope into Germany, by his long career as pope, and by his expatriation from Rome at the end of his pontificate. Those who have lived and followed the course of events in an intelligent manner during the pontificates of Pius IX, Leo XIII, and Pius X cannot fail to be impressed with the titles given to each by the prophecies of St. Malachy and their wonderful appropriateness: Crux de Cruce (Cross from a Cross) Pius IX; Lumen in caelo (Light in the Sky) Leo XIII; Ignis ardens (Burning Fire) Pius X. There is something more than coincidence in the designations given to these three popes so many hundred years before their time. We need not have recourse either to the family names, armorial bearings or cardinalatial titles, to see the fitness of their designations as given in the prophecies. The afflictions and crosses of Pius IX were more than fell to the lot of his predecessors; and the more aggravating of these crosses were brought on by the House of Savoy whose emblem was a cross. Leo XIII was a veritable luminary of the papacy. The present pope is truly a burning fire of zeal for the restoration of all things to Christ.

The last of these prophecies concerns the end of the world and is as follows: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End." It has been noticed concerning Petrus Romanus, who according to St. Malachy's list is to be the last pope, that the prophecy does not say that no popes will intervene between him and his predecessor designated Gloria olivoe. It merely says that he is to be the last, so that we may suppose as many popes as we please before "Peter the Roman". Cornelius a Lapide refers to this prophecy in his commentary "On the Gospel of St. John" (C. xvi) and "On the Apocalypse" (cc. xvii-xx), and he endeavours to calculate according to it the remaining years of time.

Are We Watching the Fulfillment of the Prophecy of St. Malachy and the Coming of the Beast?

As we and others have discussed, this sets the stage for the last Pope in the long (8 centuries long) prophecy of the popes as attributed to St. Malachy, a 12th century Irish priest. It also sets the stage for the lesser known prophecy of the Jesuit exorcist and former Vatican employee, the late Malachi Martin. He predicted that an occult ceremony had been performed on June 29, 1963, which provided a 50 year spiritual window for Satan or his selected servant to take the throne of Peter. That window closes June 29 of this year, which means the next Pope elected is likely the one intended to fulfill this event.

Are either of these prophecies true? We have only to wait a few months to find out...but if they are, are you ready?

Pope Benedict stepping down, cites poor health: world shudders at Malachy’s prophecy of the End of the World

February 11, 2013VATICAN - Pope Benedict shocked the world on Monday by saying he no longer had the mental and physical strength to cope with his ministry, in an announcement that left his aides “incredulous” and will make him the first pontiff to step down since the Middle Ages.
The German-born Pope, 85, hailed as a hero by conservative Roman Catholics and viewed with suspicion by liberals, told cardinals in Latin that his strength had deteriorated recently. He will step down on February 28 and the Vatican expects a new Pope to be chosen by the end of March.
Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said the Pope had not decided to resign because of “difficulties in the papacy” and the move had been a surprise, indicating that even his inner circle was unaware that he was about to quit. The Pope does not fear schism in the Church after his resignation, the spokesman said.
The Pope’s leadership of 1.2 billion Catholics has been beset by child sexual abuse crises that tarnished the Church, one address in which he upset Muslims and a scandal over the leaking of his private papers by his personal butler. The pope told the cardinals that in order to govern “…both strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me. “For this reason, and well aware of the seriousness of this act, with full freedom I declare that I renounce the ministry of Bishop of Rome, Successor of Saint Peter.”
He also referred to “today’s world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith.” The last Pope to resign willingly was Celestine V in 1294 after reigning for only five months, his resignation was known as “the great refusal” and was condemned by the poet Dante in the “Divine Comedy.”
Gregory XII reluctantly abdicated in 1415 to end a dispute with a rival claimant to the papacy. Before he was elected Pope, the former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was known by such critical epithets as “God’s Rottweiler” because of his stern stand on theological issues. But after several years into his new job Benedict showed that he not only did not bite but barely even barked.
In recent months, the pope has looked increasingly frail in public, sometimes being helped to walk by those around him. Lombardi ruled out depression or uncertainty as being behind the resignation, saying the move was not due to any specific illness, just advancing age. The Pope had shown “great courage, determination” aware of the “great problems the church faces today,” he said, adding the timing may have reflected the Pope’s desire to avoid the exhausting rush of Easter engagements.
There was no outside pressure and Benedict took his “personal decision” in the last few months, he added. Israel’s Chief Rabbi praised Benedict’s inter-faith outreach and wished him good health. The Archbishop of Canterbury, head of the Anglican Church, said he had learned of the Pope’s decision with a heavy heart but complete understanding. Wanted: Dead, Not Alive: The LAPD is Afraid of What Renegade Cop Chris Dorner has to Say

by:

Dave Lindorff

Let’s not be too quick to dismiss the “ranting” of renegade LAPD officer Chris Dorner.
Dorner, a three-year police veteran and former Lieutenant in the US Navy who went rogue after being fired by the LAPD, has accused Los Angeles Police of systematically using excessive force, of corruption, of being racist, and of firing him for raising those issues through official channels.

By all media accounts, Dorner “snapped” after his firing, and has vowed to kill police in retaliation. He allegedly has already done so, with several people, including police officers and family members of police already shot dead.

Now there’s a “manhunt” involving police departments across California, focussing on the mountains around Big Bear, featuring cops dressed in full military gear and armed with semi-automatic weapons.

Nobody would argue that randomly killing police officers and their family members or friends is justified, but I think that there is good reason to suspect that the things that Dorner claims set him off, such as being fired for reporting police brutality, and then going through a rigged hearing, deserve serious consideration and investigation.

The LAPD has a long history of abuse of minorities (actually the majority in Los Angeles, where whites are now a minority). It has long been a kind of paramilitary force -- one which pioneered the military-style Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) approach to “policing.”

If you wanted a good example to prove that nothing has changed over the years, just look at the outrageous incident involving LAPD cops tasked with capturing Dorner, who instead shot up two innocent women who were delivering newspapers in a residential area of Los Angeles. The women, Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71 (now in serious condition in the hospital), were not issued any warning. Police just opened fire from behind them, destroying their truck with heavy semi-automatic fire to the point that it will have to be scrapped and replaced. The two women are lucky to be alive (check out the pattern of bullet holes in the rear window behind the driver’s position in the accompanying photo). What they experienced was the tactics used by US troops on patrol in Iraq or Afghanistan, not the tactics that one expects of police. Their truck wasn’t even the right make or color, but LAPD’s “finest” decided it was better to be safe than sorry, so instead of acting like cops, they followed Pentagon “rules of engagement”: They attempted to waste the target.

LAPD officers fired on this car with clear intent to kill (check out the bullet holes behind the driver-seat position)LAPD officers fired on this car with clear intent to kill (check out the bullet holes behind the driver-seat position). Trouble was, it was the wrong make and wrong color, and instead of Dorner, it was two Latino women, one of whom is now in serious condition from her wounds. No warning was given before the barrage.

Local residents say that after that shooting, which involved seven LAPD officers and over 70 bullets expended, with nobody returning fire, the street and surrounding houses were pockmarked with bullet holes. The Los Angeles Times reports that in the area, there are “bullet holes in cars, trees, garage doors and roofs.”

In roofs?

What we had here was an example of a controversial tactic that the military employed in the Iraq War, and still employs in Afghanistan, called “spray and pray” -- a tactic that led directly to the massive civilian casualties during that US war.

We shouldn’t be surprised that two brown-skinned women were almost mowed down by the LAPD--only that they somehow survived all that deadly firing directed at them with clear intent to kill.

The approach taken by those cop-hunting-cops of shooting first and asking questions later suggests that the LAPD in this “manhunt” for one of their own has no intention of capturing Dorner alive and letting him talk about what he knows about the evils rampant in the 10,000-member department. They want him dead.

When I lived in Los Angeles back in the 1970s, it was common for LAPD cops to bust into homes, gestapo-like, at 5 in the morning, guns out, to arrest people for minor things like outstanding court warrants for unpaid parking tickets, bald tires, or jaywalking.

Police helicopters also used to tail me -- then an editor of an alternative news weekly -- and my wife, a music graduate student, as we drove home at night. Sometimes, they would follow us from our car to front door with a brilliant spotlight, when we’d come home at night to our house in Echo Park. It was an act of deliberate intimidation. (They also infiltrated our newspaper with an undercover cop posing as a wannabe journalist. Her job, we later learned, was to learn who our sources were inside the LAPD -- sources who had disclosed such things as that the LAPD had, and probably still has, a “shoot-to-kill” policy for police who fire their weapons.)

Friends in Los Angeles tell me nothing has changed, though of course the police weaponry has gotten heavier and their surveillance capabilities have gotten more sophisticated and invasive.

It is clear from the LAPD’s paramilitary response to the Occupy movement in Los Angeles, which included planting undercover cops among the occupiers, some of whom reportedly were agents provocateur who tried to encourage protesters to commit acts of violence, and which ended with police violence and gratuitous arrests, as in New York, that nothing has changed.

In other words, Dorner may be irrational, but he ain’t crazy.

Was Petraeus taken out by a CIA palace coup?

John Fund
National Review

A shocking new book makes dramatic claims about the motives behind the 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead. It also claims former CIA director David Petraeus was the victim of an internal coup by some of his deputies and bodyguards, who arranged for his extramarital affair to be investigated by the FBI, a highly unusual course of action.

The book, Benghzai: The Definitive Report, was written by Brandon Webb, a retired Navy SEAL, and Jack Murphy, a retired Green Beret. The two are editors of SOFREP.com, a site devoted to news and stories written by current and former special-operations commandos.

According to a preview of the book in Britain's Daily Mail newspaper:
The September 11 Benghazi terrorist attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, was retaliation by Islamist militants who had been targeted by covert U.S. military operations.

The book claims that neither Stevens nor even Petraeus knew about the raids by American special operations troops, which had 'kicked a hornet's nest' among the heavily-armed fighters after the overthrow of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

John Brennan, President Barack Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser, had been authorizing 'unilateral operations in North Africa outside of the traditional command structure,' according to the e-book. Brennan is Obama's pick to replace Petraeus as head of the CIA.
If true, much would be explained about why the Benghazi consulate was targeted and why the administration has been so anxious to avoid congressional and media scrutiny of the first assassination of a U.S. ambassador in over 30 years.

The book's authors also claim that:
Senior CIA officers targeted Petraeus [for exposure] because they didn't like the way he was running the agency - focusing more on paramilitary operations than intelligence analysis. They used their political clout and their connections to force an FBI investigation of his affair with Paul Broadwell and make it public . . .

"It was high-level career officers on the CIA who got the ball rolling on the investigation. It was basically a palace coupe to get Petraeus out of there,' Jack Murphy, one of the authors, told MailOnline. . . .

"It was well known to Petraeus's Personal Security Detachment (bodyguards) that he and Broadwell were having an affair. He wasn't the only high-ranking Agency head or general engaged in extramarital relations, but when the 7th floor wanted Petraeus out, they cashed in their chips," Webb and Murphy write. . . .

"It's almost like they wanted him not just to resign but that they wanted him kicked out of the political game for at least a number of years," Murphy told MailOnline. . . .

The authors say that Kelley's report may have started in the FBI investigation - but CIA officers pressured the Justice Department to keep the inquiry open. . . .

Petraeus was furious, they say, because he was kept in the dark about the raids being conducted without his knowledge by the Pentagon's Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) across Libya and North Africa.

Webb and Murphy claim that the September 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate and a CIA outpost in Benghazi proved to Petraeus that he was an outsider in the Obama administration and that he would remain marginalized as long as he was at the CIA.
A lot of fact-checking will have to be done to substantiate the claims by Webb and Murphy. But from my own reporting, I have learned that no one runs afoul of senior CIA officials - or John Brennan - lightly or without peril. CIA officials angry at the Bush administration's treatment of the agency in 2006 helped elevate the Valerie Plame affair into a national scandal and crippled much of the White House's ability to conduct foreign policy. In the end, there was precious little evidence of any real security breach or wrongdoing beyond a perjury conviction of Scooter Libby, a top aide to Vice President Cheney.

The Pope and the Papacy - part 1 John MacArthur

UFOs - Demons, Aliens, or Something in Between?

I've gone on record as stating most sightings are a mix...some of spiritual beings and some of advanced aircraft.  With the rise of the drones, more and more strange hovering vehicles will be spotted, but there are some interesting sightings in this video, most notably the one from Argentina that starts around the 11:00 minute mark.  If you see nothing else, check that out.

Also included here are comments from Jacques Vallee, the best UFO investigator ever.  He was the model for the French scientist featured in Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind.  He figured out early on that these were not aliens from another planet, and they weren't always advanced aircraft.  He believed they were "inter-dimensional", which is exactly the realm of angels and demons.  Interesting stuff to be sure.

Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

Tragedy is a reality in this world. We lose things; houses, cars, savings. We lose people we love, sometimes very suddenly. We get that phone call, that knock on the door, that diagnosis, the one that shoots cold pain into the centers of our stomachs. We remember those gut-twisting moments for the rest of our lives. The worst thing about them is not just the loss we've experienced, but the perpetual fear of future losses. Anticipation of "the worst" can taint every day of our lives for years. Yet, God tells us to not fear, but to trust wholly in Him. How does that work when the fear is there and very real? How can it work?

Fear is natural, and it is a normal response to uncertainty and danger. Yet, fear is not a virtue like caution or prudence. Fear simply robs our lives of joy. The question is therefore, how do we face joblessness or drive on bad tires we can't afford to replace? How do we remember the loss of a child and not cling desperately to the children we have left? How do we live in peace and victory?

Certainly trusting God and putting Him first is the answer. But, while it is easy to say we need to trust God, it is often much harder to do. Simon Peter knew Jesus personally and had watched him perform many miracles, and yet as he walked out to Jesus on the water, he was still frightened by the wind and waves, and he began to sink. We understand Peter; we're just like him.

So, how can we stop being afraid of the wind and waves when they are loud and crashing into our faces?

We learn about God.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." -2 Timothy 3:16

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." -John 16:13-14
It's difficult to trust a stranger. If we want to conquer fear, we need to start by truly getting to know who God is by prayerfully reading through His Word. We also need to ask God for the guidance of His Spirit. God is glad to give us His Spirit to help us (Luke 11:11-13).

We believe God loves us.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment." -1 John 4:18

When God says He loves us, we believe Him. It's not humble to say, "Oh, I'm not important to God." God knows the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:29-31). We are extremely valuable to Him. No matter what we feel (feelings come and go with hormones and food), we need to just start taking God at His word. He said He loves us, we should believe Him.

(He does love us. He lavishes us with value. He loves us so much that He allowed His precious Son to be mocked and beaten and slaughtered in order to buy us back from death. It wasn't a whim. It was the amazing, deep, true love of a mighty God. We need to choose to believe that, to rejoice in it. He saved us! He wants us to rejoice in it!)

"But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me." -Psalm 13:6

We also need to remember that He doesn't love us because of how good we are. He loves us because of how good He is. That means that when we've had a really rotten day and we've messed up, we don't have to run and hide from Him. We can run to Him and seek His healing and cleansing right away.

We love God back.

"We love him, because he first loved us." - 1 John 4:19

How do we love God? We obey Him (John 14:15). And when we fail, we quickly confess and repent from sin. We listen to Him. We trust Him. We worship Him. We delight in how good He is, and we depend on His goodness and His love when we don't understand and we're hurt and confused.

Praise and worship bring amazing results. We can say, "I believe you love me," but turning that into, "Thank you for loving me," makes all the difference. We can praise God for His protection, thank Him for His love, delight ourselves in Him. It is safe in His arms. It is safe living in the center of His will, no matter where His will leads us. And as we praise Him and worship Him and enjoy Him, the fear cannot remain.

We remember that our lives are not our own.

" What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 1Corinthians 6:19-20

One song's lyrics say: "Thank you, Jesus, for the life you've given me. Thank you, Jesus, for the things I cannot see. I will worship you, the great and might Prince of Peace. I will honor you, Lord of Love, King of Kings. Here's my life a sacrifice to you. Here's my life a sacrifice to you."

When our lives truly belong to Christ and we are wholly given over to His purposes, then we know that every thing – even tragedy – will be used for excellent, wonderful things. He can use it all. As Paul said:

"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." -2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Fear sometimes seems unbeatable. To us, our fears are very real, and the salt water up our sinuses can be painful each time we crash under the ocean waves. But, in God's power, in God's eyes, they are nothing. To God, the terrible monsters that rise up above us to destroy us are merely origami tigers. They look fierce, but in God's hands they are no real danger. God does not need a good economy to provide for us and pay our bills. If He sees fit to give us a broken down car to drive, then He is capable of holding that broken down car together for us. He can protect our children and our loved ones. He alone can heal our hearts, and He is never worried.

More Christians, UFO's and Hints at a Secret

PART 12: More Christians, UFOs...

and Hints at a Secret

By Tom Horn & Cris Putnam

CHRISTIANS UFOS ABDUCTIONS--Noah HutchingsLegendary Broadcaster Noah Hutchings’ UFO Encounter

Dr. Noah Hutchings, president of Southwest Radio Ministries in Oklahoma City, has been in Christian broadcasting for more than sixty years. He has written over a hundred books and booklets covering Bible commentary and prophetic topics and has led mission tours to the continents of Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa, as well as the Middle East. What many may not know is, like Tom Horn and Gary Stearman, he, too, is a Christian who witnessed firsthand what some today call UFOs. We asked him to send us a short report of what he saw and when, and he happily replied:

In 1939 I lived with my family on a farm in SE Oklahoma, five miles south of Hugo, the county seat. At the time I was 15 years old. I daily rode the school bus at a pick up point about one half mile east of my home. I would usually cut across a short cut to and from the bus stop through a semi-wooded pasture.

One evening in, what I remember was October, as I was walking through the pasture toward my home, the sun was just setting. As I glanced northward past a grove of trees, an intense bright and glowing object suddenly ascended over the woods into the sky. About three seconds later as I watched, another object rose up and followed the same trajectory, followed by a third object a few seconds later doing the same. Then all three objects, radiating orange, white, and blue, lined up to form a triangle in the sky.

I sat down until it was dark and watched waiting to see if they would move. Later I walked the short distance to my home where my mother had saved supper for me. After eating, I rushed back to see if the three objects were still up in the sky, but they were gone.

At the time I was 15 years old, but there are some events in life so dramatic or beyond the ordinary that you never forget them. This was one of those incidents.

Years later, in 1942, I was called for Army duty in World War II. After basic training in Field Artillery Fire Direction I was sent overseas to New Caledonia for assignment. I was checking out a new radar to detect and identify all aircraft within fifty miles of our port. Attached to the radar unit were cables leading to sixteen anti-aircraft guns that could land a 90 mm shell in the lap of a Japanese fighter pilot at 12,000 feet. About half way through World War II, the Japanese converted all their military aircraft into Kamikaze planes, and the land based 90s were not effective in anti-Kamikaze attacks. I was thrown a set of firing tables for the 90s and spent the rest of the war supervising field artillery operations for the First Calvary Armored Division.

In the 18 months I operated a radar system I kept in mind the three objects I had seen on a late afternoon in 1939. However, I never picked up another thing in the sky that I could not identify, including a pelican that had swallowed a piece of gum from one of the ships that had been thrown overboard with the garbage. But no UFOs.

I remain convinced that the three objects I saw suddenly rising swiftly into the sky in 1939 [were] something beyond the identification and scientific knowledge of that time, or even today.… I think we have to consider seriously many of the seemingly reliable reports of UFO activity today, especially that of five retired Air force officers [ii] who testified of the problems with UFOs during their service years.

Whether UFOs are something out of another dimension or angelic visitors from heavenly places is something that someday will be determined.

Dr. Walter Martin Had Time to Snap a Picture of the UFO

Broadcaster, debater, and lecturer Dr. Walter Martin was a recognized Christian apologist who passed away in 1989. He pioneered organizations in the Christian counterculture movement including the Christian Research Institute in 1960 for Christian apologetics. Martin’s colleagues included well-known radio Bible teacher Donald Grey Barnhouse; noted lawyer, professor, and Lutheran theologian John Warwick Montgomery; and founder of the Koinonia House ministry based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Dr. Chuck Missler. But, as with Tom Horn, Gary Stearman, and Noah Hutchings, most people probably do not know that the cult-buster also had a UFO encounter. In fact, he and his partner even had time to take a clear picture of it as it hung suspended above a seminary. From a portion of his 1970s UFO presentation, we transcribed the following short excerpt:

I possess, and it has been printed, the only color picture of a UFO, taken at an altitude of eight hundred feet, on a clear day in New Jersey, hovering near a seminary. And this particular one [the UFO picture], generally, I blow up on a wall about ten by fifteen feet so people can see it…and we have blown up large pictures of it…is of a circular ship with opaque windows circling it. Its dimensions, as far as we were able to determine, figure about fifty to seventy-five feet across and at least fifty feet thick. It made no noise whatsoever; it was bluish-grey in color. It hovered and then lazily took off, straight up over the mountains. My assistant took the picture with a 35-millimeter camera on a clear day. And that picture was used on the front cover of a national publication as the first “bonafide UFO sighting, verified by unimpeachable sources.” After all, seminary professors would hardly be lying about Unidentified Flying Objects [sounds of audience laughing]. Particularly since my assistant who took the picture didn’t believe they existed until he took the picture. Now, he is a firm believer in the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects…

The question in my mind is not “what,” but “who.” I know what they are. Hynek knows what they are [Dr. Josef Allen Hynek was a United States astronomer, professor, and lead scientific adviser for UFO studies undertaken by the US Air Force under Project Sign, Project Grudge, and Project Blue Book]. The United States government knows what they are. The Soviet government knows what they are.… They are some form of extremely sophisticated aircraft, not made by any government occupying territory on our Earth that we know of… [Dr. Martin went on to explain his belief about the “who” that is piloting UFOs. He concluded they are demonic agents of deception].

The Difference between UFO Sightings and Alien Abduction

Because efforts have been made in some circles to renounce all unexplainable UFO activity as demonic and/or lump this phenomenon together with so-called alien abduction, we have listed below the current evolution of UFO encounter “types” as first developed by J. Allen Hynek and then revised in succeeding years:

1) Close Encounters of the First Kind (CEI) involve “visual” sightings of an Unidentified Flying Object.

2) Close Encounters of the Second Kind (CEII) include visual plus physical traces such as burned spots on the ground, radiation, strange markings, or wreckage debris appropriate for investigation.

3) Close Encounters of the Third Kind (CEIII) involve sightings of the UFO “occupants” near the UFO.

4) Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind (CEIV) include a human abducted by a UFO or its occupants (this was not included in Hynek’s original scale).

5) Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (CEV), developed by Steven M. Greer’s Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) group, are described as “joint, bilateral contact events produced through the conscious, voluntary, and proactive human-initiated or cooperative communication with extraterrestrial intelligence.”[iv]

6) Close Encounters of the Sixth Kind (CEVI) are described as “UFO incidents that cause direct injury or death.”[v]

7) Close Encounters of the Seventh Kind (CEVII) involve abduction for the purpose of mingling human and extraterrestrial “DNA” to produce a hybrid.

“Close Encounters of the First Kind” is how we would describe the testimonies of Tom and Nita Horn, Gary Stearman, Noah Hutchings, and Walter Martin. They saw something that appeared to be solid, operated under what appeared to be intelligent control, yet defied identification and behaved in ways inconsistent with physical laws of the universe as we understand them. The UFOs could have been good, evil, or neither, but they were extraordinary, whatever they were.

For Tom Horn, the question over “what” and “who” UFOs and aliens are began a long time ago.

In fact, it dates back to his childhood. He was not yet a teenager when his father, Clarence, a Korean War veteran and territory officer in the state of Arizona, came home one day very excited. He’d been deer hunting not too far from Snowflake, Arizona. This was an area that Clarence loved to travel to, if for no other reason than that the man loved to drive (as anybody who knew him would testify, especially his kids), including along the Salt River Canyon into Payson and on up into the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. He’d stop at every little town along the way, including Show Low, an early settlement town named after a famous poker player. On this particular trip, Clarence had parked in the woods and was on foot, following an animal trail near Snowflake that he was very familiar with. He headed toward a waterhole that antelope, elk, and mule deer (his target) were known to habit, and that’s when he came across something that had not been there before: several large, near-perfect, spherical craters, perhaps twenty feet across and eight feet deep. The mysterious cavities were so precise that it looked as if an enormous, white-hot ball had pushed them into the rock, and the finish on the walls was sealed so perfectly that rainwater filled the orbs. The sides of the holes were slick, not like they would have been if explosives had been used to create them (or somehow if gigantic drilling equipment had been lowered by a military transport helicopter into the remote location without disturbing the natural habitat or leaving behind signs of commercial or military activity), and each “pool” contained deer that had fallen in and drowned while attempting to drink the water.

Clarence took pictures of the obscure holes, had them developed, and showed them to the family. Tom remembers being especially impressed. Clarence also reported the finding to the police department where he worked and led a representative of the Army Corps of Engineers to the location. The origin of the puzzling craters was never determined, including by locals who frequented the area and thought they had appeared overnight. The Corps of Engineers also could not determine how the holes were made or what they could have been for. The Phoenix Gazette ran an article called “Mysterious Mountain Holes” about the discovery, reprinting photographs of Clarence kneeling beside the orbs with his 30-06 hunting rifle, and not long afterward, the Corps dynamited the pools so they would fill with rocks and protect the wildlife. About the same time, Tom’s “crazy” aunt who lived next door to his family and whom nobody paid attention to was petrified by what she claimed was a dish-shaped object hovering above their home. But as they all knew, she was “nuts,” so that, for a while, seemed to be the end of the story.

CHRISTIANS UFOS ABDUCTIONS--Officer Clarence

Officer Clarence Horn in the late ’50s–early ’60s

However, years later, something else happened near the site. On November 5, 1975, along the northeastern ridge of the same mountain range, Travis Walton stepped out of his pick-up to look at a mysterious, glowing object. While a crew of loggers waited nearby, Travis approached the UFO and was jolted by a blast of inexplicable energy. As his companions fled in terror, Travis was taken aboard the alien spacecraft and subjected to a variety of physical examinations. His story, Fire in the Sky, became a motion picture. It reports what’s considered to be the best documented account of a UFO abduction ever recorded. Is Travis Walton’s story true? Was there a connection between the Walton UFO and the mysterious mountain holes? Travis wanted to know, and once gave Horn his business card in Roswell, New Mexico, and asked him to call. Horn never did, but now, for the first time ever, Tom will be disclosing in Exo-Vaticana part of what legendary American radio broadcaster, Paul Harvey, used to call “the rest of the story.”

Throughout the first two decades of his public ministry, and to the largest extent since, Tom Horn has held this secret. It involves a mystery concerning his family that he could neither understand nor talk about. What Tom could not have known, of course, was what would follow his father's discovery: a series of disturbing events in his family that would crystallize something so preternatural and improbable that it nearly defied incredulity. In fact, it would have been easy for him to dismiss it all as too fantastic to be real... that is, if it had not been for the detectives, federal employees and attorneys, a vanished nuclear physicist from Los Alamos, Stephen Spielberg, and even a recording of their voice and a picture of one of them that would follow. [EDITORS NOTE: As Tom said on radio with Steve Quayle recently, he will not allow us to publish "The Mysterious Case Of XXXX XXXX" online nor will he discuss it on radio, but the decades old secret will be documented in the upcoming book Exo-Vaticana].

Quake shakes up Colombia: A powerful but deep earthquake shook a broad swath of Colombia and Ecuador on Saturday, sending frightened people fleeing into the streets, but no serious injuries or major damage were reported. The U.S. Geological Survey said the 9:16 a.m. (14:16 GMT) quake had a magnitude of 6.9. It was centered about 7 miles (12 kilometers) from the Colombian town of Pasto and 92 miles (154 kilometers) below the surface. In the province of Narino, where the quake hit, secretary of government Jaime Rodriguez said officials had reports of three people hurt when roof tiles fell in the town of El Charco along the Pacific Coast. Officials in Ecuador also reported no significant damage. Colombian television showed people fleeing into the streets of southwestern cities such as Cali, and small cracks in the walls of some buildings. Mayor Paulo Cesar Rodriguez of the town of Tuquerres near the epicenter said the quake was “very strong and felt for a long time” but that there were no reports of injuries in the town of 42,300. –Time
