I'm speculating here, but the facts do lend credence to the idea. The 50 year period between initiation of an occult/Satanic ceremony and it's fulfillment has already been established in the prediction of Father Malachi Martin concerning the last pope. It would also appear that there may be an occult/celestial reason to look for the end of the age in 2019. We know from his biography that the newly crowned Pope, Jorge Mario Bergoglio was ordained to the priesthood on December 13, 1969. Pope "Francis", an ironic name if there ever was for a Jesuit, fits the bill for at least two different prophecies stating that he will be the last Pope. And the Pope is a strong candidate for the False Prophet mentioned in Revelation 13:11-15.

There is someone else, off the main camera frame at the moment, but he (or his son) have long been candidates in many ways for the office of Antichrist. That is Prince Charles, Prince of Wales. I wouldn't be so bold to mention him if he had not already told the press that he believed he was placed on this world for a purpose, "to save the world". Charles claims descent from King David of Israel, and has publicly stated his desire to be "King of Europe". As the Antichrist will be a prince, he fits the bill. As the number of the name of the Antichrist will equal 666, he again fits the bill. There is a lot here to look into. This is an amazing image below. Charles received his "investiture" (coronation) as the Prince of Wales on July 1, 1969. For a number of reasons, Charles fits the Biblical requirements for the Antichrist. His "power and authority come from the Red Dragon". He also was known to have initiated the most significant, secret push towards peace in the middle east, including deciding who would govern the Temple mount in Jerusalem. This is known as the Oslo Peace Accords, and failed apparently after some enterprising Israeli journalists caught wind of the events and leaked the story to the public.
The reason there are signs in scripture is to warn believers what to look for. I'm not declaring this as truth for certain, but these are significant signs we should be watching. 1969 was quite a year on the world stage. The first man on the moon, the Woodstock festival, occult classics like Easy Rider and Midnight Cowboy, and now the beginning of the polictical and religious careers of two of the most influential men in the world.
