Luther was not perfect either in his ideals or in his accomplishments, but he is the most significant spiritual figure of the last thousand years. His "reformation" paved the way for common people to have Bibles in their homes, written in their languages, that they could read and understand. This is HUGE! He was the beginning, the person the Lord chose to separate the Bible from the tyranny of the Roman Church. He set the Bible free to the common man. And the world would never be the same. (Praise God!)
