I'm not convinced on all of the ideas presented here but the idea of stellar alignments relating to prophecy makes a lot of sense. Just because modern man has lost interest in the constellations and signs in the skies doesn't mean those things have no meaning. There is a reason our forefathers were terrified by comets (like the approaching ISON) because they were heralds: forerunners in the skies telling us something big is about to happen. So time to spiritually prepare for the thlipsis, the great tribulation. It's on our doorstep.
