I still can't discount the work of Tim Cohen in "The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea". Lots of good reference work done in his propositions. It was common for believers in the early church to speculate, and Emperors Nero and Diocletian were quite popular in their time. Later the Pope became the obvious choice. Intelligent speculation is not a bad thing. It just may not be correct, at least not yet...
